I’d prefer CMod attack lab tonight, worsty can train knowledge for his attempt on a lab if one is called for
Since we’re trying to let people become conftown, it makes little sense for existing conftown to attempt to destroy labs at the same time, no? Dk can try to steal items, but I cannot. As such, I’d like to file a request to Dk to be allowed exploration on nights where less than 2 labs exist? I hope it’s clear enough why the stated conditions make this essentially the only option outside of doing nothing.

He's signalling that he's town a lot, and doing a lot towards the mechgame, but not sorting players. It's pretty similar to my reason for thinking Cakez is scummy, outside of Cakez' shitty associatives with FL (and me trusting DkKoba that CM1 has literally thrown the game if scum).

CM1 has a scumrange which includes strong mechplay, and strong high-level manipulation. He doesn't have a scumrange which includes consistently, convincingly sorting players in the 'nitty-gritty'. This is the calling card of a deepwolf in mechanical games. See MoI in The Thing Mafia; see PRICKS in Echo Bay Grits SEO; see Punreader & I in SUPP2017Mafia (tbf this was a town win but it was soooo clutchy). I can go dig up more examples if you need.

You're welcome to half-ass your read because you think he smells towny, but I pinkie promise you will get absolutely slammed in mechanics-heavy games sooner or later. And it's because you'll get so distracted solving the puzzle that you forget to look for tells. Players who play mechanics hard are in town's "blind spot", and the

Becoming "conf town" would be a huge asset as you poe down and win with a lab

obviously scum being literal conftown is bastard, poor design, or players screwing up. but principally yeah.

my dream position in a theme game is "god if tw is scum, the scumteam made some questionable decisions / the game feels weird" because it makes people tend to drop you from their solves even if you're never quite conftowned

I did catch that - nicely done. It had me like "...huh?" ingame (generally I felt like your mechplay had like a kind of inward focused/survival motivation which I attributed to insincerity oops) but I wasn't really motivated to guess if it was real or not. I think I would have fallen for it as scum too
