I think "conf town" (with quotes) is better as a reference to Noraa frequently asserting herself as conf town in situations where she often isn't

Nom Gypyx for "bottom text"
Similar to how "the real friends" meme is associated with Monty, I associate the bottom text meme with Gypyx. It was in his signature for a while, but he will also use it in games when he gets page bottoms or enter it in random conversations:
This isn't a random meme Gypyx has said a few times, he does identify with the meme somewhat and has been using it consistently for months:

Well, the quote is a quote, not much to "inspire" lol and the "bottom text" is just a random meme i put as a filler when i first customized my profile, it ended up sticking with me
In post 390 , Gypyx wrote: Hey you're not allowed to say bottom text that's my thing
Finally, I think there is something very aesthetic about the title being the "bottom text" to the username that really makes this work.

I searched page bottom in his posts and it came up enough times and over a long enough time range that I felt good about it.
It's also the bottom text to the username, I mean come on that is so good. I think this is what should give it the edge to become a title.

I like the idea behind it. I'm not sure it clicks, but I get where it's coming from.

Not only is he the worthiest guy I can think of for a portal reference title (I do not support those lightly) every time I end up in one of his mod PTs (whether as a spectator or for other nefarious purposes) I hear the MS version of the Portal song at the end of the first game (This was a triumph, I'm making a note here; HUGE SUCCESS etc. Rest of lyrics on request). He approaches setup design with the same passion that GlaDOS has for scientific research and his games are barely full when he starts thinking of the next one. He also likes to subvert player expectations in his games (Tenet, SAW) which is perfect for the Is A Lie moniker.
Just my two cents.
I wasn't sold, but then I read this and now I like it.
But is Cakez old enough to have played the original portal? Not to make anyone feel old but I think he was like 6 when it came out lol.

Nth, I don't think I know esuriospiritus well enough to pass judgment on how well it fits, but in a vacuum I like the title and the reasoning seems to make sense.

I like the idea behind that, dunno if the wording is optimal but it feels a bit deeper than study buddy. A study in threads? A study in posting? Dunno.
