I'll try my best. Can you just rephrase that last part in bold I didn't quite understand it. Also are we aware of the game setup?

Ah yes, so to re-phrase: I think it generally isn't a good idea in newbie games to deliberately eliminate your mafia team-mate in order to get credibility, as however well you play, you can get stuck with town power roles left alive at the end which might mean you lose anyway. It's a commonly used strategy in larger games, and often a good one. But here it would be high risk and uncertain reward. Plus I wouldn't do it to you because it'd make me a shitty SE.
Keeping us both alive is the gameplan!

It's semi-open setup, so town has either:

1. Tracker and Friendly Neighbour
2. Friendly Neighbour and Jailkeeper
3. Tracker and Doctor

Also what do you think about killing the SE's first?

haha it depends. basic kill strategy should normally be:

Kill someone we think is a power role.
If we don't have any idea who might be a power role, kill someone who suspects us.
If nobody suspects us, kill someone we might find it hard to eliminate during the day.

Are we still killing RLotus?

I'm thinking about the possible setups and there is a high chance to have a friendly town neighbor which doesn't really bother me right now. Tracker is the other higher chance PR which is the one bothering me right now.

So if I do both the rolecop and the killing and get tracked then I'm 100% confirmed mafia.
If you do the kill then the chance of a tracker finding about mafia actions is higher but if I am the one tracked this wouldn't expose me as the mafia. May have some positives and room for plays but it doesn't seem straightforward.

What do you think? Which is the better approach?

I think we split - I'll do the kill, you do the rolecop? I'm as worried about a JK blocking us if we combine both (meaning we get no investigation and no kill).

What makes you take out skitter/flowr from the list

flowr hinted at being vanilla early on day 1. some line about "my goal is to get elimmed to protect the PRs" which felt genuine.

it's pretty unlikely, but we can discuss tonight. only really if we are willing to risk failing to kill in order to target someone dangerous.

If we elim Pig today, Kill Manwithnoname tonight, it leaves:

Skitter likes us both, AuroraDash kinda likes me too. We'd only need 1 of them to make a wrong vote and we can quickhammer for the Day 3 win.

What do you think? My justification for moving now will be to get consensus within the elim-pool, and you can argue it's a toss-up between you and pig and you know you're town.

yep that's exactly right. i don't even think we need to quickhammer really. I think Syryana's hammer is not a great look and he is probably the top consensus scumread. AD doesnt trust Skitter and vice versa. Let's just try to close it out tomorrow

I've gone all in on Syryana. I still think this game is basically a lock, but today should now be a choice between Syryana and me. I think my case on Syryana is pretty good, so we'll see. But even if I die, I know you can close this victory out

We could have just waited for others to jump on AD, but I'd rather be on the offensive more - take our fate into our own hands.

If I die today, definitely agree you killing Skitter is the right play, and you should be able to work with Syryana to eliminate AD's replacement for the win.

and yeah, definitely stay on me now unless you can hammer Syryana. I think there's a risk that my lack of frequent posting and directive tone gets me elimmed here (although the latter is exactly what I'd do as town, on the brink of defeat, when I know who is scum )

im hoping Skitter moves before AD - as if Skitter hammers me, it makes it easier for you to orchestrate a AD-elim on the final day. also AD-replacement is a bit of a wildcard as I'm not sure if they've read the game. You could consider a Syryana kill depending on circumstances. I just think the way this day has gone, it doesn't really feel like me and Syryana are both scum, so you either kill Syryana or Skitter, and use the survivor to elim AD.

either way, you've played great here - to get to this stage of the game with basically nobody suspecting you (despite my distancing!), in your first newbie game as scum - excellent.
