I'd guess scum is among Taylor, Golden, Fuzzy, or Nepenthe, maybe. Who knows? I haven't played mafia in over a year so I'm not sure how much trust to put in my own reads yet. We'll have to wait until after we lynch a scum for me to regain some confidence.

This was a pretty absurd theory to hold. Feels like you're trying too hard to justify a Herta lynch. To help get some non-biased thoughts, can you assume for just a second that Herta's town -- who do you suspect in that case?

I've been rereading the game with as open a mind as possible. I'm at page 16 & by far the scummiest players are Herta/Taylor. Rock/Zurel are the towniest.

Hiraki's probably third towniest.

I'd like to flesh out the final point re: process of elimination. I think there's a fairly large group of obvious townies in this game. They include Rock, Zurel, Hiraki, Geraint, & Nora, most obviously. That leaves scum in the group of Jackson, Taylor, Golden, Fuzzy, NM, and Herta. Among this group, everyone has demonstrated some hints of town other than Herta. I can point to specific language from each of them that suggests town, including even Taylor. Herta's the only player who doesn't have anything towny in their play.

I also feel somewhat confident about Herta as scum because Hiraki agrees with me, Hiraki's a strong town read of mine, and Hiraki's actually experienced enough to pick up this stuff, even if for the wrong reasons.

Hello you fabulous people.

First up, me claiming cop and saying I copped myself is clearly a joke and a bit of a test to see who'd use it as a reason for sus, looking at Fuzzy mainly here but also TGP

I find it interesting that Nora votes for me and then calls someone else scummy for...voting for me? what? xD

So I'm not so good with doing a full read through as that's a lot of reading so I hopped into some ISO's

My first thought was to look at Shoshin and see if there's maybe more as to why scum killed them during the night...and then I realised that looks bad for me cos I was on Shoshin's sus list xD But I notice that Shoshin was a big driving force on the Herta vote yesterday and so scum probably killed Shoshin because they're by far the most towniest player.

I'm now reading through the last 10 pages (from when Shoshin made a massive wall of text on why Herta should be the Wagon), I find it real funny that Nora who wasn't on the Herta wagon and in fact pushed against it are now pushing on one of the earlier votes on that wagon xD Like holy wow how much Nora was trying to save Herta in those 10 pages is hilarious, especially right at the end.
I think it's clear that Herta wasn't the most active of players and I think Nora was trying to push Herta into claiming a pr to save themselves but didn't get a chance to do so because Herta wasn't around

I find it interesting that the start of the day a load of people sus NL (mainly for actions of their previous slot) and again Noraa is pushing hard against it

So, looking at the herta wagon and how it formed and what happened.

This was te first vote count with votes for HErta - Golden paradox and shoshin (who we know is town)

after that point, these are the votes I can see that were placed not on the herta wagon

Zurel's constant pocketing of me I don't like either, especially when they are super aware that it may be seen as if they are which isn't a townie mindset also them trying to sway me onto a top wagon is scummy.

I don't think trying to sway people to your thinking is scummy, either. These are bad reasons to suspect Zurel.

Why haven't you commented more on Herta or Taylor?

Like....this isn't any concrete evidence on the Jackson slot, but it is the best I have, trying to see if scum tried to form a defensive wagon to their partner. if I had an investigative role last night it would have been where I looked....

the people not on the herta wagon yesterday btw were Jackson/no lynch, me, Rockhopper and Noraa. unless someone has a better idea I would want to kill one of no lynch, rockhopper or noraa (and I ended yesterday on noraa and don't like the Jackson/no lynch slot)

Oh just remembered that there was another thing about Fuzzy.

When Fuzzy jumped onto the Herta wagon was really weird and I can't quite tell whether it's townie or scummy. Like at that point everyone knew that NM was gonna quick hammer, Idk whether Fuzzy was jumping on so that they could be 'seen' to be on the wagon (that was very clearly gonna go off very soon) or whether they joined it as town because they thought Herta was scum.
