i don't think you did a bad job at all,

but overall i think the trend in a lot of these larges is scum try blend in and cede all control of the game to town

Yeah this was absolutely the problem this game

I get that the game moved REALLY fast early on but town were able to find themselves super easily and scum were just left to be picked off and PoE'd by the end of Day 1 for their horrible positions surrounding the Cakez wagon lmao

FL didn't guilty you at all, correct. FL is just a neighborhood crasher (can crash others' links) that has a 1-shot commute on a member of the hood, which he has already used.

someone else, on the other hand, had a result on you (although not a 100% incriminating one in all cases), and those two (cabd/fl) noticed it and kept the ruse going

I didn't start reading Day 2 until Night 2 was already over and took MWNN's word for it that FL was the one that guiltied noraa

Cabd and FL did a good job obfuscating the nature of the guilty so I may not have picked up on it anyway but that kinda sucks lmao

I wanted to kill both Cabd and FL N2 but I think MWNN said he could only kill unwnd cuz he was linked to him? If I'm being honest I didn't read most of my team's roles which is 100% on me, so I went along with him didn't verify myself

Was there a way we could have killed both if we used our night actions correctly?

I think the thing that upsets me most is that beeboy clearly read my PMs about getting replaced and checking in and chose to ignore them

like out of all the options my preferences would be

1) keep playing
2) tell me you're replacing out
...
578) make me eat a pound of black licorice
999) ignore PM and make me replace you 24 hours after the fact

I thought I could have legitimately made a run for it for awhile if we were actually able to kill Cabd and FL Night 2 like I thought we were able to initially

Obviously that wasn't possible and I was copped anyway but I did feel better about it having NachoMuffin on my side and I planned to basically just post a lot Day 3 and try to take control that way

I enjoyed this game even though we were stomped because there was literally no pressure, it's nice knowing that no matter how badly you do there's no way you can disappoint your scum team because they've all already been PoE'd

I would like to say that I have NEVER felt bad about rolling scum and having townies vouch for me only to have it backfire for them, UNTIL Nacho fought so hard for me Day 2 and saved me.

I really do appreciate him giving me a chance even though I ended up being scum and I felt a little dirty after that ;____;

Wish I was able to play from the beginning

I literally saw this game get approved by UT to start signups and told myself to remember to check back when the sign up thread was up

But I forgot for awhile and when I came back the game was full

Still glad I was able to replace in though! I liked playing with a lot of these guys again even though it was shortlived and under unfavorable circumstances

And it's a really cool setup too, it's a shame a lot of the mechanics didn't really get much time to cshine

Thanks unwnd, for the record I remember reading some of your posts from Day 1 and thinking to myself that I would have tried to link up w/ you (not in a game-mechanics way, in a Day play way) if I were town because your posts were a breath of fresh air after wading through a lot of the...trash...from the first like 90 pages

If you were going to live at all shooting RB84 was an option, since it's in the pool and it would have eliminated a strong town Blade role too. You also could have linked up with your roleblocker and blocked Cabd to be safe while killing FL. No guilty, cop shot lost, kill Cabd Night Three. That play overall assumes you (Spiffeh) are going deep and leaves your teammates dangling a bit, but you had to try something.

You also could have left the kill on unwnd as the 'factional kill' and used the 'vig shot' on someone like LLD who you could plausibly be scum reading there and make a big stand about how you were a town vig who wasn't going to be leashed to a pool, you shot your scum read, and you stand by it, etc., etc.

Yeah all of this is fair, I figured there was a decent chance I was going down Day 3 since we were keeping Cabd alive so I claimed to shoot within the pool that contained my two remaining scum buddies to maybe WIFOM the suspicion off of them

Probably still wouldn't have worked even if I wasn't guiltied and the other two scum weren't just outed by misusing fake claims but it was the best I could think of
