Played offsite a long time ago, looking to get back in the swing of things, decided to jump in a big game because I wanted a challenge.

I can power through this thing and manufacture a catchup post, just want to make sure my reads will be politically viable or what have you. If you guys are generally townread, I won't shake that up, people will be looking for scum distancing. If the previous player was too scummy, it's okay to bus me, but I'd wait to see which way the wind blows on that one. Definitely don't stick up for me if a bunch of people want me dead.

Linear reading is the best way for me to form 'organic reads', though. Appreciate the summary, I'll keep that in mind as I'm going through.

I'll skim if it's necessary to have something written up in time but in general I feel as though the best way to look like I'm legitimately scumhunting is to mimic that process and make the same cases I would as town.

Don't panic, the game is getting tight, it's to be expected that some town players are going to be on to us because they're running out of options. It doesn't matter. We only need a few to be wrong to get through this day.

The universal backup thing is a real problem though. pain in the ass to get rid of that role.


My take now is that glitch should claim some kind of visiting role, just as a latch ditch effort. My suggestion would be Checker. It's a weak, useless role that's not necessarily scummy to have visited a townread with.

I'm going to be making some sort of gunsmith claim, there's a lot of VTs dead and it makes better sense to hide in the town power, give something that'll make people question which PR claims are legit.

- we have an opportunity to pit the PRs against each other and people are skeptical of IV, he doesn't need to try to confirm the claim and weasel out of it with weirdness. Between my claim and the other investi I think there is enough doubt that we can get IV voted.
