RULES
(based on hascow's and Tarhalindur's sets)
Behavior
(1) This is a game. Have fun, but let others have fun too. Don't be a jackass.
(2) Play to win, but see rule 1.
(3) I will be posting in dark red. Please don't use dark red, or I'll be sending my evil robot ninjas. Infraction of this rule will result in a warning. After the second infraction, you will be modkilled/replaced for being annoying. Don't pose as me, I'll just shoot you down.
(4) I don't mind profanity in mild doses. Language is a flexible tool for expressing yourself. But do not insult your fellow players. If a player finds something offensive, I'll edit it out, and if a player insults others repeatedly, I will forcibly replace/modkill them.
(5) Don't quote or pretend to quote any private communications with me or other players. Infraction of this rule will result in immediate modkill. You don't get a second chance if you quote your PMs. I endorse paraphrasing, however, and if you are undecided about something, feel free to contact me.
(6) Don't talk about this game outside the thread unless your role allows, whether you’re dead or not. If I find out about it, you will be modkilled. However, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to rant about the unfairness of it all.
(7) Do not edit or delete your posts. I mean, it's not likely you will be able to, but if by some chance you are, don't. Use your sense.
Activity Levels and Prods
(8) If a player doesn't post in 72 hours, they will be prodded.
(9) Players may request a prod on another player at any time, either by PM or by posting in thread.
(10) Not picking up a prod within 72 hours will result in replacement.
(11) If I have to prod you more than three times in a game-day or more than five times overall, you will be replaced.
(12) If you are on V/LA (vacation/limited access), please take the time to either post to that effect in-thread or PM me.
Voting, Lynches, and Deadlines
(13) Please vote in bold, such as
vote: Korts
If you don't unvote before placing your vote somewhere else, your new vote will not count. You may use nicknames and acronyms when voting, as long as it is clear exactly whom you are referring to.
(14) I will try to post vote counts on every page. Vote counts will be in seperate posts for clarity.
(15) A lynch will require the votes of a majority of players (half of all living players plus one). When a majority is reached, no further votes/unvotes will be counted.
(16) Days will begin without a deadline. If posting is infrequent, I may set a negotiable deadline. You may request me to set a deadline; a majority request will make it happen. If no majority lynch has happened by deadline, the player with the most votes will be lynched. In case of a tie, the player who has been at the most votes for the longest time will be lynched.
(17) Posting in twilight is acceptable, for both the lynchee and town members. Feel free to post as much or as little as you want of whatever you like.
(18) Once your death scene is posted, you may make only one ‘brainzzz’ post. Make sure it has no game relevant information, or someone on your team will be punished for the infraction.
Miscellaneous
(19) If you fake breaking a rule, or I percieve you as breaking a rule, it will incur the same punishment as actually breaking the rule.
(20) I'm not God. I make mistakes. If you notice something, notify me in-thread, preferably in the following format:

<message>. If I have made a major mistake, please be kind and notify me by PM, leave it out of the thread.
(21) For game purposes, my word is sacred, and my decision final. See rule 20.
(22) Don't exploit any possible loopholes in the ruleset. If you notice an inconsistency, please notify me by PM.
(23) I reserve the right to add rules if necessary.
(+1) Do not claim other players as your scum partners, it will not be tolerated. As of post 537, infractions of this rule will warrant an immediate modkill.
