Who doesn't mind new suspicious people entering the village? Somehow though, they all that those people were the mafia. Day 1 Lynch

The 12 people of the village gathered around to discuss who the scum might be. They had no information, so at first they threw around random accusations. Some had played poker with another person and threw an accusation at that. But the conversations, snail-slowly became more serious and they found people who were pretty likely to be scum. This was by Sunset though. Now, they had two separate people to be scum and there was an equal amount of focus on both. They knew they had to at least a quarter of the village agree to lynch one person so two people switcher over to the newest person to be called scum. Then just as the sun fell behind the mountains they put Mr_Gnome_It_All into the noose. He then dropped to his doom. Then, Mr_Gnome_It_All's business card fell out of his pocket. Night 1 Results

The 10 people of the village gathered around to discuss who the scum might be again. They felt good having gotten some good night’s sleep and possibly some new information on who the scum are. However, they noticed Yaw was missing. They searched everywhere and anywhere for him. Finally, they saw Yaw stuck on a flagpole with blood still oozing out his body. Night 2 Results

The sun started to reach over the mountains and 9 people slowly gathered around to the town's center. They looked around but could not find Battle Mage or iamausername! They had both disappeared. The 9 people broke into two groups to find where each person was. The first group found BM, who had a bullet wound right in the center of his forehead. Then, they noticed that Battle Mage's face had hearts with Iamusername all over it. They knew that

As thus, the first group found the second group and helped them find Iamausername. Tovarish was extremely bored and decided to make a wishing coin go into the local lake. Here he found Iamausername stuck at the bottom of the lake with a knife stabbed directly in his heart. The Knif'es handle was engraved with "Battle Mage, my love, my moon in the evening, I will miss you dearly". This confirmed the fact that

The 9 villagers decided to go back to the center of town to avenge all of those souls that have been lost to the dreaded scum.

Day 3 Lynch also known as THE MOD IS VERY STUPID Lynch

The remaining 9 people of the village gathered around for today's lynch. They were all getting very bored and very tried of the game. However, when the activity did pick up there was active hunting for thou who had disobeyed the town. Today, most of the suspcion fell on Panzerjager. He decided to act like a normal town but yet make it so it was undersuspicon. So everyon piled thier suspicions on him. Then finally Panzerjager unable to sucomb the pressure threw himself into the noose. He was killed instantly. Then they realized that

Day 4 Lynch

The 7 remaining people of the village gathered together. A lot of them were getting bored of finding the damn scum and blamed it on all of the quiet people such as Killa Seven. In fact, as day moved along and people cared less about who got hung they all slowly began to to move Killa Seven towards the gallows. Then with one final push from Xtoxm Killa Seven fell into the noose. Then they saw his true colors,

The sun arose for the fifth day of scum finding. The village had only found one serial killer and one mafiate. They didn't know how many remained. They were scared but that made them have courage. Day Five Lynch

The five villagers had gathered aroudn the town's center. They knew that if today they didn't hang a sucm they'd be going down. They threw suspicions around. Even one of the quiet people suddenlys tarted speaking. And then fianlly they reached a concensus. Xotxm would be going into the noose. So two of the villagers pushed him in. When then, all of a sudden, Xtoxm leaped into the noose. He then fell down, dead. A black 80 millimeter pistol fell out of his pocket.

This takes place during the night before the day.

"Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz" said Qwints in his sleep. And boy was he asleep. He was dreaming about his paradise where he could find all of the bananas and cheese and cake he could ever want.
When suddenly.

, foot steps were heard. No one knew how many people were walking inside his house. And then they got the rug, covered a gun in the rug, and shot.

was the last sound of Qwints life. The bullet landed int he center of his forehead going a few inches in to his brain. This caused the brain to overreact and do various things to his body even though he was dead. He started sweeping his arms around and flailing. When then, out of no where his chest started to grow bigger and bigger. When, all of a sudden it burst open. Blood flew around everywhere, his heart no longer beating lay on the bed.
The anonymous killer(s) stealthily left the house and without a sound went to their own to sleep.

Now it is sunrise

Then sun rose upon the village. AS they all gathered around the center. They all noticed how there were only 3 of them remaining. surely, at least one of them would be the killer(s). Then they didn't see Qwints. One of them yelled out "Oh no. My mason Buddy!".
They all immediately went to their house searching for Qwints knowing the killer's style of killing.
What they found their shocked the person who screamed that their mason buddy was gone. The blood sprayed about was amazing. They then discovered, the notes the two mason buddies had passed between each other. Each one with different styles of writing. They would all miss

Day 6 deadline is New Year's Eve

Day 6 Lynch/End Game

The last 3 survivors had finally begun their meeting of who was the final scum. Bionicchop2 quickly threw an insult which sounded as if it weren't that hasdgfas was probably scum. Hascow then fought for his life about why he wasn't scum. Then Lawrencelot joined the battle put his case up on why he wasn't scum and pushed Hascow closer to the gallows.Ceizing, his chance bionichop2 kicked Hascow into the gallows to face his doom.
Here, they discovered that

Lawrencelot slowly backed away closer to his house. But no, bionicchop2 wouldn't let him. Bionic threw himself around lawrencelot and made him go unconscience.

Now was the time to strike

" Bionic thought to himself. Bionic only had one bullet left in his gun but he had some C4 as well.
Bionic put all of the C4 he had on to lawrencelot's knocked out body.
Bionic moved a distance away from the village.
"Time to end with a boom" said Bionic. He then shot his bullet at the C4 with perfect aim.

Whosethatville had been destroyed.
It was the best day ever for Bionicchop2 to hear that joyous sound reach his ears.

Now, my complaints.

The modding in this game was absolutely horrible.

The first thing is that in the first post, I can't tell who replaced whom, and that is extremely important in the game, to remember who is for whom.

I thought it made it neater the way I did it.

Next, you changed Rule 14 to say that you would post votecounts when asked, yet later you decided to say that we "still need one more for a vote count". What, exactly, was that supposed to be?

Vote counts day 1 were all right, but we got all of 1 vote count the rest of the game from you, which is completely unacceptable for a mod.

Felt the need for two votes for that votecount.

Next, not giving replacers what their predecessor has done is terrible. Almost everyone will ask for it, so why not give it to them anyway?

Had no actions. Plus, people should ask.

Why did you ask whether or not to modkill? That's supposed to be a mod decision. Always look for a replacement first.

It can effect the game greatly.

When you were searching for a replacement for Reclusion, you didn't post in the Replacements Thread. How are we supposed to believe that you were searching for a replacement when you didn't post in a place specifically for that?

NEVER

be over a holiday break. You had one during Thanksgiving break, and if it went that long, on New Year's Eve as well. Why? Sure, it might "fit your formula", but actually think about that day first.

You just disappeared and had the backup mod take over for a bit, then showed back up, and still made the backup post a vote count. I thought you had forgotten about this game, in all honesty.

I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting, but I was really angry about this modding for the entire game, because it ruined what could have been a good game. I stopped caring partway through, because it seemed like the mod didn't care, and if he doesn't care about his own game, why should I?

SSK -- The setup looks to be pretty good here (from what I've seen so far), but there are some

serious

modding issues you need to work on. I'm listing a bunch of the ones I've noticed in the hopes you'll look at this as an opportunity for improvement. I think I speak for most of the players here in saying that these led to some big frustrations that were entirely unnecessary. I believe you'll find that fixing these problems will lead to better running of future games, and less friction with your players (as well as making it easier to find replacements).

Kay fine.

1) Vote counts. Yes, I know I requested they be posted rather than edited at the beginning of the game, which you weren't in favour of. That said, regardless of the method used, vote counts absolutely must be done in a manner that is timely, and they must be as accurate as possible. Yours were neither. What this means is that you should be aiming to get a vote count on each page (where possible -- sometimes the game goes too fast for this) regardless of where it is on the page. Vote counts should be accurate up to the point where the vote count occurs (so none of that stuff like in your mini, where you edited in a vote count at the top of the page and stated it was correct to something like post 63 -- it's confusing for players to read). Also, watch the accuracy -- many of your vote counts had errors. I personally use the strategy of placing all the players in a "Not Voting" list, and then cut/pasting the names into different slots as they vote. It doesn't solve all problems, but it does ensure that you will never have anybody double-voting.

Attempted to do this time but couldn't do it with two games going on and a shitload of other games I was playing in. See 614 for where I did post a vote count every page.

2) Away time. Yes, people get busy. No, I'm not blaming you for getting busy. But when you do get busy, at least PM your backup to let them know. There's no shame in relying on a backup when it's needed. I've done it before.

Reyo seemed to be inactive from the sites.

3) Replacements part 1. There's a few here. First of all, you have to be careful that nobody can read player roles from night choices (or the lack thereof). Reclusion should have been temporarily replaced when she requested it. Not doing that potentially lets players determine whether or not she had a night choice based on whether or not she was around to make it. Not what you want. Also, be up front about who you're replacing when you start looking for replacements. I don't think I was the only one confused when you said you were looking for a replacement for Reclusion, then had Panzer replacing Netman (who you didn't say was being replaced at all).

I couldn't find a replacment. I contacted several people all of which couldn't replace in. And yes I will tell who I replace from now on.

4) Replacements part 2. The small text on the front page has to stop. Players need to be able to read what player replaced whom at a glance. They shouldn't have to highlight your text and paste it somewhere else to do so. It's completely unnecessary and annoying. (It's also less work for you not to use tags to make the text small, so it saves you a bit of work.)

Kay. I'll make the person they replaced bigger and make the front page look messy. Fine.

5) Replacements part 3. With respect to Panzer replacing in, there were a number of issues. First of all, you should always, no questions asked, give replacements their predecessor's night choices when they receive their role. The expectation is that they should have this information, because they're becoming the same person. Second, you have to make clear when a player replaced in. Panzer replaced during Night 1, which means he made all the night choices. But your post saying he replaced came several posts after the morning post, which implied that he wasn't in the game during the night at all. These two points combined meant that when Panzer claimed, you were

telling the players that he lied about his claim

, which is what got him lynched. Mods should

never

put themselves into a position where they are contributing to a player lynch, and this could have been prevented by seeing what was going on in thread, and correcting the record.

Bad timing on my part. Wrote flavor then had to go. When I came back I posted Panzer had been replaced.

There are probably other things I'm forgetting, but those are the main points. Again, I'm posting this in the hope you'll take this as practical advice on how to improve your modding in the future.
