So I did. Their votes were completely valid and should have counted. I am slightly less likely to make errors like this if you put votes at the beginning of lines, but I should be able to catch votes in that format as well.

@mod does the deadline currently only serve to allow scum more guesses if town takes a really long time to yeet? what actually happens if we let it run dry
If, in the nightless portion of this game, the town fails to come to a consensus on an elimination then the scum will get a chance to guess partners again and the votecount will be refreshed. No other result of a No Elimination will happen.
If, in the potential mountainous portion of this game, the town fails to come to a consensus on an elimination then the game will transition to night and scum will be able to kill.

"Lynch" as a mafia term is being phased out of the mafiascum lexicon due to the racist and violent connotations of the word. Moderators are required to use alternative phrasing, of which the standard option appears to be eliminate. Players are strongly encouraged to use alternative phrasing, but such a thing is not required at this time. Personally, I'm a fan of yeet.

Access to the mafia PT is instantly granted upon correctly identifying each other. Transitioning the game to have a night is a conscious choice scum must make after that point.

When I last performed a prod check, Reginald was under the 48 hour prod timer, and regardless Reginald is on V/LA for the duration of the day (IRL day). If Reginald has not posted by tomorrow morning, I will of course prod them as normal.
Players may change their avatars, signatures, pronouns, etc to suit them so long as they do not do so for the purpose of communicating information in a temporary fashion and the change otherwise follows the user guidelines. Players may not change the email associated with their account or the password for the account. If for some reason you want to change your password, send me a PM and I will be happy to change it for you, but I must remain capable of logging into all of the alt accounts for which I am responsible in case something requires me to do so (like a replacement or the end of the game).

No. My modding philosophy is that of threefold repetition. If after three day/night cycles there has been no meaningful change in the game state (an elimination/kill/information gain etc.) then rocks fall and kill everyone and the game ends in a draw. It is up to the individual how they personally view a draw.
I'm going to start blanking the accounts tonight, but feel free to post in this thread with your mains. Please don't post in other threads using the alt accounts as I'd like to keep their ego searches as small as possible.
The not announcing replacements thing was a choice to try to reduce the impact of replacements on the game (Big thanks to Mathblade and bugspray, btw). I felt that replacements otherwise had a disproportionate effect on the odds of mafia finding each other early.
but I feel like mafia, if they aren't exed by day 2, almost always would have found eachother
so if you find your partner day 1 or think you reliably can day 2 it's always ideal to no kill night 1 which I'm not sure is great
I'm not so sure that's true, tbh.
One of the big reasons town did so well this game is that scum were signalling hard to each other. If scum had obfuscated identities then I think it was much more reasonable for them to not mutually find until D3 or 4, (netting an extra mislim for town).
With that said, bugs figured out that Mom was Reginald pretty much immediately.
I immensely enjoyed all the RP btw. Also, CT felt like she was trying to imitate A50's playstyle early on to me, which was pretty hilarious.
Yeah... I think the next time I run a secret alt game (which is probably like a week out, in case anyone wants in) I'm going to default all the pronouns to they/them. It's kind of a rough side effect of the identity obfuscation thing that misgendering is going to be more common in games like these.
We have enbies in DkKoba and bug spray ladies in tris and Esooa. Cis might be the minority this game

My idea was that this would be somewhere between 6v2 nightless (theoretical perfect balance, townsided in practice) and 11v2 mountainous (scumsided in practice). I definitely underestimated the amount of additional information that came from scum trying to find each other, though.

Both replacements had access to their previous identity through the PM giving them account details. Neither replacement received any replacement information on the replacement account, but all mod communication was intact.
Bugs might have scumslipped if I understood his post right (the scum role PM has playernames while the town role PM doesn't) but if so it was a scumslip based on the public information in the setup info post.
It was also never my intention to obfuscate whether scum knew each other's identities and I thought my sample PM was clear enough on that front. If/when I rerun this setup I will be adding a setup specific rule to clarify that, since it was clearly a point of confusion as it got brought up twice.

This, btw, was literally the reason I made 25 alts for the purpose of running secret alt games. Umbrella Academy was just a convenient show/comic to use to generate names.
I remember the secret alt dances being rough on keeping track of who was who myself.
I might make two more to be able to run 3 micros concurrently tbh, and if anyone wants to borrow them for their own setups it's doable with listmod approval and me backup or comodding.

Bugs could not have killed N1. In order for there to be a night one kill the scumteam would need to have found each other and switched the game to night prior to the D1 elimination. Bugs found Mom, but Mom guessed Allison pretty early. The first chance bugs had to enable nights was the dawn of D2 because the game was still nightless when Mom was limmed.
