It may have been to him not having comfort with certain roles before coming out. I don’t like wearing dresses etc and it may have been a clash due to his gender identity and what a role demanded. He has the right to be picky since he has more than enough to live off of. He’s expressed similar sentiment regarding heels and dresses and many roles would do that.
