When you say it's strange of me to ask for teammates reads on me in TEAM MAFIA then I guess the answer is yes, it's frustrating. The whole tournament is based on a team to be playing the games the members are involved in. It's the only event where you can actually talk about an ongoing game to someone who is not playing in it (in your team PT/discord). How can you even tell if <insert name> is posting their own thoughts and not channeling their teammate's thoughts?

My request is simple: My ISO isn't even that big -at least not yet- so ask Pooky, Nancy & DkK to take a look at it and give you a preliminary read to convey to me and that would be it. Thank you

thoughts on Titus, Ythan, Cephrir and the worst?

None of them is in my 2 confident TRs if that's what you're asking. In fact, all are in the "unresolved" spots. Only Ythan has even tried to tackle me, and he's the one who does NOT know me of the 4, so that's a bit worrying. Also tw stating he has a "dead null" read on me is doubly worrying, but there are 3 possible reasons I can think of for that: A) He forgot how to read me early on, B) He's trying to keep me alive longer, C) He's outright scum and wants to keep his options wide open.

Obviously A is NAI, B is a town motive, and C is.. well SCUM motivated. I say this regarding tw in particular because as far as I remember he used to be super interested in sorting my alignment early on. This "later into the game" bit is new to me (from tw) but he "could" have finally digested the idea of leaving me alone on D1 and trying to sort me on D2 onwards (which is something I always preach to people who play with me regularly and many have come to accept it as a rule of the thumb).

I had a quick look at the major wagons at or around their peak. Jere are some interesting thoughts:

Oka Poka was on each and every single one of them. He voted IV, AGar, Titus, Xtoxm, ABR, back to Xtoxm (Xtoxm had dissipated in favour of ABR and them got rebuilt) and then he hopped on Winter Flakes.

I'm having difficulty seeing Oka SRing all top wagons at the time of then being the hot topic, so I am relegating Oka down to just below null

Also Cephrir has been on all but Titus' wagon, but he also joined Winter Flakes; wagon upon the rebuilding of Xtoxm's. I honestly dunno what to make of that but I already have Cephrir below my null line anyway

You're joking, right? The core of the wagon growing on Xtoxm centers around an interpretation of Titus's post supposedly made by Xtoxm being defended by mastina, very much opposite of how Oka (and others) interpreted that post, to the point of most suspecting Xtoxm making up a TR of Titus.

We are talking about 2 different issues here:

1- Oka not understanding what mastina was saying

2- The alignment of Xtoxm (or rather how >I< perceive Xtoxm's play)

Response to (1): I was explaining.. to Oka.. what mastina was saying. Period. It does not mean I agree (nor does it mean I disagree) with mastina. I just stated that it was a "valid" interpretation, but I didn't say it's the "only" one.

Response to (2): I independently TR Xtoxm regardless and have never voted him, FoS'd him or hinted otherwise. I had him in my TRs since the first complete read list I posted. I didn't need (or care about) reasons others were providing to SR/TR him because I di have my own solid opinion about a player I claim to know well enough, and have seen his Town play AND his Scum play numerous times (I was even Scum with him once or twice).

Now a THIRD issue that you may (or may not) be hinting is: Why am I not defending Xtoxm hard enough, and my explanation is simple. I am not a Town leader and people do not tend to listen to me that often, so it'd be a waste of time and breath. ALSO I have clearly stated who I was to eliminate today, and people were still pushing my TRs instead (Xtoxm, ABR, you, and -to a lesser extent- Titus). Inly lately do some people realize Cephrir and DGB are scum. And even those who do (mastina) have hercule (another one of my TRs) as her top SR.

So, basically I would have been redirecting the wagon off a TR and unto another TR, which is not ideal from my PoV. I don't want Xtoxm gone, and I don't want ABR gone either. I don't want you eliminated and I don't want Titus/hercule eliminated just the same. Now if a wagon build up on any of you I won't be threatening to invade Granada over it, but I won't be touching that wagon with a barge pole.

Do you still have an issue with me? Do you still find it difficult to see things my way? Uf you do, feel free to ask again. I have nothing better to do (except restating Ceph & DGB are SRs to me. I also SR tw stil, but that's not happening today and many of you seem quite confident he is town, so let's get one of Ceph/DGB today as we can only eliminate one at a time anyway)

the important thing to consider about a tracker claim is the +ev is very very low. on average its not going to be helpful especially in a large.

as scum there are a variety of responses you can use to wifom out of it, one of which could be intentionally ignoring the thread/not caring

Sorry to report that Xtoxm goes more quiet when he does roll a PR than when he does a VT. I guess he doesn't much like the burden of responsibility bestowed upon him. In other words, he acts more freely as a VT which makes him look townier than he does as a TPR.

But I get what you're saying as a general observation. Scum AND TPRs have more tendency to fight to survive than your average VT.
