Fwiw I think you played well and I was struggling to see a way to break through, and even once you did play f6 everything felt super sharp and like it could have flippped either way

My feelings were that you mainly went wrong bc of 2 things (outside of missing the rook being under attack). I think they’re both connected, too. But basically I think you played f6 too early because your king was pretty exposed. One thing I ran through a bunch of lines on was whether after sacking my knight for 2 pawns I’d have enough compensation, and I found a lot of lines where I was just mating you after a series of checks because of the king being so exposed. The other thing is connected, to which is just generally playing too many pawn moves and not getting your pieces out. It wasn’t that bad, I don’t think, because they were all making it hard for me to get an attack going, but if you look at move 12, my development is complete (if somewhat cramped) whereas 3 of your minor pieces haven’t left their home square. And I think that meant that while you were very solid, you couldn’t really generate any counter threats, and made it possible to exploit the weaknesses in your position after the pawns moved forward on the kingside
