I think part of your difficulty Nancy is that you fail to perceive the role of a town stump and you're resisting the growth. The town are trying to manipulate you just as much as scum are. You should expect your early reads to be horrible and lean on your townreads. Yet, your townreads are the ones making this difficult. This suggests you don't know how to work with your townreads. Queen Nancy shouldn't be happening without evidence.

Really read Titus v Alisae over the night with only the knowledge that Spiffeh and gobbledygook are town (and the mason PT). Take advice from that.

Alright I just have a few more things to say just to get it off my chest. Then I'll proceed as normally scheduled.

BM replacing out wasn't a coincidence, he felt unwanted in a game where his own liability was the fact he wasn't invited to the table. This seems like a very curated playlist of people who are all familiar with each other, whether they want to admit it or not. I replaced in because the love of the game and I wanted to challenge myself, but if the mentality comes at the cost of just personal undoing and dealing with people who fail to read me for not being apart of their inner circle, then what am I supposed to do? If you're reading this and think 'this is just AtE' then you're not comprehending what I'm telling you. I very much want to take on the role of a player of this game and nothing else, but when I keep getting meta accusations or alt hunting it's very hard to deal with.

I also feel no resonance with the people I'm playing with. Like I stick out like a sore thumb and that's my one and only crime. Is it something on my face? The way I've said something? I think I've tried to pry into other's minds and ask questions about what they're thinking and it's mostly just been silence. My confidence only works in a continual feedback loop because I'm not reaching anyone. It's tiring and I've resorted to mostly bemoaning my situation because I'm not sure what else to do. Italiano’s reason for unvoting 5uffering didn’t really make a lot of sense. Starcrossed and R & M did it at my request which is of course a valid reason but nothing about that post was particularly AI to me and BM replaced out due to being tunnelled by Noraa. Italiano’s reason for unvoting 5uffering didn’t really make a lot of sense. Starcrossed and R & M did it at my request which is of course a valid reason but nothing about that post was particularly AI to me and BM replaced out due to being tunnelled by Noraa. And he made some post about my pushing BM but then he said I pushed him as town. So I could see a possible 5uffering/Italiano team maybe? And Gamma keeps going on ad nauseum about things useless to the current gamestate and trying to demoralize me.

I think part of your difficulty Nancy is that you fail to perceive the role of a town stump and you're resisting the growth. The town are trying to manipulate you just as much as scum are. You should expect your early reads to be horrible and lean on your townreads. Yet, your townreads are the ones making this difficult. This suggests you don't know how to work with your townreads. Queen Nancy shouldn't be happening without evidence.

Really read Titus v Alisae over the night with only the knowledge that Spiffeh and gobbledygook are town (and the mason PT). Take advice from that.

For now, Queen Nancy rules Day 1. Let's hope President Nancy shows up Day 2, for all our sakes.

No one in particular's fault and everyone's at the same time, so don't take it personally, Nancy. Pointing fingers is stupid, and that's what you did Gamma. That's it, it's not a big deal. Now shhhh. Krazy and co. who are pushing the "let's end the day because of toxicity" rethoric: I'm in no position to tell you to deal with it 'cause I only repped in a few days ago and haven't put any effort whatsoever since then, but I think there are other effective ways of dealing with toxicity that doesn't require playing against your reads aka "let's just eliminate 5uffering even if he's town it's the best thing we can do". No, you're tired, you're frustrated, but that doesn't make that statement true.

I'm just using an example here, that applies to anyone, not only 5uffering, 'cause that being said, I do think it's a liable elimination at this point. His frustration seems legit and that's a problem 'cause it gets foggy and difficult to determine if the frustration comes from a town mindset where he can't understand why's in the position he's at right now, or from a scum mindset with a huge ego that can't believe this fucking town is getting him eliminated for the stupidest reasons. The way 5uffering treats everyone makes me believe the latter, where he challenges everyone to take a stance on him with worthy arguments, like dude, maybe you're scummier than you think and we don't need big arguments to be right about you? I'm talking to myself here, of course, but I digress. My point is, along with some of his null reads that seemed to come from scum trying to position future valid pushes inside of a promising forming town bloc, his frustration looks like scum.

As I said, however, trying to read someone out of their frustration is a shot in the dark. No, it's better than that, but in my case, I think I can do better. So I do need some time to adjust and see who I want eliminated. I promise to everyone who's feeling tired, who deserves a break from this game and wants to end the day asap... Give me 24 hours from now. In the meantime just chill, if you want the day to end, don't post anything for 24 hours if you want. I'm not saying I'll change the game's course or give you a 360 turn, but since it's me who we are talking about, there's a chance that it does happen that 'cause I'm pretty good at this. Yeah... that's why if italiano vanillizes her it confirms the night action is real without removing a mason from your PT, which otherwise would be the best use of the vanillaize (since vanillaizing mason confirms the action is real to you while changing nothing about the mason structure since the mason is still mech town)

there's just no way of communicating a mason target to italiano in a way that isn't really anti-town, so the next best option is someone who has already used all their mech power shots and is obviously town (i.e. fey)

feel there's no good reason to leash italiano to a VT since that leaves his power in doubt, we want to know that is his real role mechanically speaking

For my half, for the ORIGINAL hydra, no--I've not played with Lunar Martian or Akarin with them as scum, pretty sure anyway. (Well, Lunar Martian, depends on which banned user LM was obv.)

But for Ari, obviously, yes, I have indeed seen him as scum.

I've not seen him post yet tho so have no way to judge on him yet.

I think that slot will get resolved sooner than later because Akarin will eventually either town it up or she won’t. Ari always plays scummy. I know I’ve hydra’d with him and he got miselimed in last year’s TM.

So I was 3rd party scum (I know the scum team, I can't reveal who they are, I win if I'm last man standing along with the rest of them, but lose if I get limmed before). One of the scum team was an anonymous messenger who had to pick between three signatures for his messages (Chara, Gamma Emerald and Almost50 I think).

My gambit was to have him send messages to people going "I'm part of a parallel secret Boon game and you're my partner in it; I'm not allowed to tell you more but follow my instructions" and hopefully have people believe it and play according to that.

Although one of the targets misinterpreted it we did manage to get some chain lims set up because of how that affected their play. But Gamma replaced into the messenger's slot and trueclaimed scum messenger; and now that it was known that it came from a single slot rather than mysterious out of game players, it was obvious he was scum and he got limmed

Well W & P was in my initial solve and Clidd was in Noraa’s.

My initial solve was 5uffering, Italiano, Gamma, W & P. So I’m open to W & P if you can show me they’re scum, less sure on Clidd but I’m open to it if one or more of that PoE is wrong. As for REK, if this was a regular game I might see things differently but I just can’t see Titus drafting Akarin after Pokeman Battles, especially when she’s made multiple posts about not being interested in drafting players who hate playing scum because it’s “demotivating” and Akarin detests playing scum. So my reads are part based on play, part VCA, part meta and part the likelihood of actually being drafted. So Fey is my top tr primarily based off of meta and unlikeliness of being picked. I was paranoiaing on you for likelihood of being picked but I also have gotten some town pings from you.

Morty and Rick is someone I want to townread but don't want to call a townread before reading his early presence. I would expect Auro to lead the game a little more 'cause he's a pain in the ass as town, we share that trait. I liked what I saw from mastina last time I checked, with the Titus draft analysis. I expect her to approach the game like that to get engaged as either alignment, but the conclusions seemed genuine and not trying to push a rethoric to start aligning miseliminations.

clidd is in my blind spot right now but shouldn't be a problem. I do think that, because of personality traits, Titus would work very well with someone like clidd, but I don't have an in game read right now so I'll leave the speculation for when I actually read clidd's ISO.

I already suggested that there's at least one of Nancy's protégés that will flip scum. Now that I know that Ari is scum I think it could be not one, but two, with Sarah being my best guess. But look at that, it's the word guess! What that does mean? Well, that I have absolutely nothing to back that read up other than disliking the whole "V I B I N G" sharade 'cause it feels like Sarah is just posturing; waited until the game was settled in, saw what Nancy's approach was and began to create the perfect mindmeld with the townstump. Based on the current gamestate where I think we're pushing three town wagons, this is currently a very promising theory, but then again, it depends too much on other slots' reads, so it's not good enough by its own.

And that's the entire list. 9 towns, 3 scums, 3 nulls. Since AkAri is scum and that spews S&W scum, I'll say that if I'm wrong in one of my scumreads, it's olaf. If I'm right about the three of them, I'd tend to think clidd is the last one because hey I'm on a roll so let's keep going and pretend my townreads are all correct and I'm a big star! But if I'm wrong on olaf, which there's a high chance I am, I'd look again in my townreads to see where could I be wrong. The list is in no particular order, I started writting them based on the playerlist on post 0 and then went by memory so it's messy. But I would have to read 5uffering's ISO which is something I've been avoiding to do. Charlie and Snoopy was townie enough to make me believe that there's no need to read his entire ISO, but since I wasn't here early game, it could be me putting too much weight without context/real time reading.

I'm going to sleep now. My next step is making AkAri's scumcase. Thanks to everyone for the 24 hours, now I feel more part of the game and have a better shot of being helpful.

If you still want to end the day by elimming one of Italiano/Gamma/5uffering, by all means, go for it. I don't know who has more chances of being scum of the three of them; I think Italiano's frustration towards Nancy and the other two points I already brought up are good enough to make me think he's town. Although I disagreed at first, I think Toog's point about Gamma is very possibly true: chiming in about Noraa's replacement was impulsive, and keep going for it was prideful, two things I would expect Gamma would try to avoid; I don't remember who said it 'cause I read too damn much right now, but said that Gamma looked like he was trying to be careful about his reads, only commenting on current conversations but not giving insights of his own/scumhunting; well, this impulsiveness is the opposite of that. Then again, that is a valid reason to scumread someone, so now that I'm writting this lines, if you want to go with this PoE, I'd eliminate Gamma ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Charlie and Snoopy had only 15 posts to say what they thought and they are all fully packed with insights, reading the game with a town mindset. My only concern is the lack of an actual vote, 'cause he called out a lot of players for different reasons but didn't stick with any, so it seems like leaving their options open.

So as you can see, I'm not really concerned if you want to flip Gamma/5uffer. I agree with everyone who has said that they could be useful flips. BUT, if you do want to wait to see what I want to say about AkAri, that would be even better! A useful flip that could go either way is still worse than an actual scum flip, even more when, from my perspective, those useful flips, even if useful, are still most likely town.
