Everyone except dsjstr's slot has submitted, and it's close to deadline. This is a good time of day for me to resolve even if I have to wait until deadline; pushing deadline another hour forward is not. So going to resolve now. No one has volunteered to replace in as of yet.

If we get no replacement by the end of Round 2, I'd like to get some player feedback on how we should handle that.
A) Stick with the rules as written - keep the slot in play, keep looking for a replacement, have AutoPlay cover the slot (playing the lowest card every turn).
B) Eject the slot. Cut the game down to four rounds, throw the slot's hand away.
C) Eject the slot. Keep the game at five rounds. Rotate the hands as normal (including through the slot), with whatever hand the slot has being out of play for that round.
D) Another brilliant idea that I've failed to list here.
Doing anything other than A would constitute a change in the rules mid-game. If any player thinks we should stick with A, then we'll do that. If everyone thinks A is a bad idea, we'll go with the majority of B/C; if someone comes up with a D, I'll post that and leave it as an option. With any non-A option, someone can still replace in if they do so before the end of Round 2.

All three may change how the game is played, but that's just because in theory we know what cards are being played by another player (in the case of A - although I guess we know that this round) or knowing which cards are out of the game.

*It may be held by someone else if you discount the major downtime in 2012 and 2014, I'm not doing the research.
Unfortunately, no real way of avoiding changing the game short of pausing it and waiting for a replacement. I would object to that as a solution - the last game I ran that needed a replacement, no one replaced in, and I have a strong aversion to abandoning games.
(And arguably, pausing long enough would itself be a change.)

The timer is being reset to 24 hours to give vincentw a chance to catch up and select a Weather card. AutoPlay is disabled for his slot, effective immediately.
For this round, we will not resolve early, to give players that have already selected a chance to change their minds now that AutoPlay is no longer in control of the slot. For those who have already submitted cards, you may change your card if you wish.
We'll resolve early if I get cards from those who have not submitted yet AND confirmations from those who have that they want to stick with what they've already played.

Reviewing my Sent Messages; apparently one of the Nudges I thought I sent didn't go out - whether that's because something happened on MS's end or my end, I don't know. So the Nudge has been resent as of now. I do have to reset the timer, as the full Nudge time hasn't been given. My apologies for not catching this sooner.
