Our opponents need only one more word to win while we need two. For sure I want to guess HORN, and given the clue of RACECAR I think the most obvious last word is LAP (as in a lap around the racetrack). What do you all think?

When I ran it, failing to respond to a prod in time meant a forced pass. Not sure how CreativeMod1 plans to do it now.

This is what I'll use as the official ruling for the timer, is everyone cool with this?

Field operatives must make their first guess within 72 hours (3 days) of receiving a clue and then any subsequent guesses within 24 hours of being told if their previous guess was correct (This 24 hours is reset after each guess). After this time, the opposing spymaster may force a pass by submitting their next clue. If a guess is made after the elapsed time but before the opposing spymaster posts a clue then the guess will be valid.

I'd slightly alter Marashu's list and go BELL > APPLE > ROBOT > GAME, leaving TUBE off. I think TUBE is too much of a stretch this early; I associate the term more with CRT televisions or YouTube more than telephones. STRING is worth revisiting if one of those four is not ours, though.

As one of the past mods of the game... sorry. The "no Google" rule used not to be explicit, but I had never intended it to be allowed. I made the ban explicit after a few players used it and were unaware that doing so was getting "outside help" as I understood it. It's also something the current mod has addressed before.
