Real talk: many people appear to be paranoid of you here, and they're not necessarily Scum. I mean, sure.. some may be, but some scum may try to keep you alive too.

Theoretically speaking: if I was Scum (or ANY non-Town alignment, really) I may have wanted you around for a couple of nights. Having pocketed you already; scum!me would want you to wade through the playerlist some. Of course, that also depends on whether I have partners and -if I do- whether you're likely to shoot them or not.

That said, the reason TOWN!ME (which is the real me here) also wants you around to help me out, because I struggle to sort people in early game and I usually need a red flip (in a classic setup) to start catching the rest of the team. Noe this game doesn't necessarily have a "team" to begin with, and it could very well have multiple anti-town factions, so it's even harder for me to sort people, and it suits me to have another "very likely Town-motivated" flip per cycle. (Note that I am not yet 100% on you, but everything you said so far checks out with what I'd expect you to do/pick, so I am very very much inclined to believe you are Town here).

As for your shooting pool, I would recommend that you don't say or even crumb your target. If you are NK-proof you can always tell after the fact, y'know. We don't need a Busdriver, a Redirector/Deflector, a Scum Roleblosker/Jailkeeper.. etc or even a Scum Doctor messing around or stopping your shot.

I am impartial regarding this no yeet suggestion, but since everyone seems to be arguing against it I decided to play devil's advocate:

In "conventional" games (Normal or not) the MOD/Designer decides the roles with the scope of achieving "balance". In this game WE pick our own roles to try and achieve the most with them (regardless of alignment, as I'm sure everyone did try to pick a good scum role as well just in case they rolled that one).

If the game has 2 scums (minimum scum is 2 as per rules) then a yeet on D1 doesn't really hurt the Town, since the game would be heavily town-sided by virtue of numbers alone. HOWEVER, if the game has 6 anti-town slots then it most likely does hurt us to yeet one of us.

That said, I don't think all anti-town will recognize each other, so it's a close call between yeeting a townie and yeeting an anti-town player. Note that the game could also include 6 NON-Town, but not necessarily 6 ANTI-Town (I dunno why someone would pick Survivor for example, but it's theoretically possible).

So, if we no lim it does have a benefit and -maybe- that isn't such a bad idea. At the very least -if we're considering the nature and spirit of the game, namingly the "fun >> competition" part- we are giving everyone a chance to do something with the role they picked before they leave and spectate the rest of the game.

So, there it is. To yeet or not to yeet still

I have a craze theory of a Vax (BP) and mahi (Yeet-Proof) Scum team. If this is the case then it makes "some sense" for the BP to try and take down the NK-Proof Vig to protect his partner. This -however- DOES NOT EXPLAIN how Vax "guessed" Korina's exact post-number (even if it wasn't true).

Another crazy theory is Vax was Korina's recruit and has a role strong enough to be worth confirming (probably NK-proof still). Now either of them gets yeeted and the other becomes untouchable by day too; since no scum will come out to say "I tried killing him and he didn't die".

And as I go on I can think of a case for Vax to be Town (or WW) too, with the Role he claims to be, and that is a Scum RB targeted Korina thinking they'd be framing BOTH when Vax doesn't die, only Korina is actually Cult which they didn't account for. As I read on I see mahi are claiming a guilty on Korina as well. OK, what if MAHI is a WEREWOLF NUMBER COP, and VAX IS A WEREWOLF "something or another"?? Actually, I found a suitable Role for Vax to fit my theory: 6875, with WEREWOLF alignment chosen by mod for it. Vax already saved mahi and exhausted his 1-shit so is effectively a WW "Vanilla" and is thus expendable (especially if there is a third WW). How am I doing??

OK, even if he is not, he is only 2-shots, so we need to lim him tomorrow to verify his role and ALIGNMENT. As I said, he could very well be group Scum who got his claimed result from a partner. First see the above thing I wrote for anyone voting Vax. Vax couldn't possibly guess Korina's true pick without them at least telling the truth about their role unless I'm missing something.

So what do we do? Korina is done with. There's a slight chance he's still lying about whom he targeted and that we have a living cultist, but one that cannot spread it, so that's a relief. If Vax is still alive tomorrow he delivers us a second (and last) result. The Number Cops I found both were 2-shots, but one was Town and the other was Werewolf, so let's verify that second result with a Vax flip.

If Vax flips Town then VFP is lying (about having tracked Vax to CaptainS) and we would have caught another anti-Town in VFP.

I am leaning towards it, yes. I obviously can't rule out a Town Vig (who was sane enough to holster on N1)*, but I don't think there's a Doctor in this game.**

* I don't even know if there are Novice roles on the GIM thread, and I'm not sure about there being an Even Night Vig either. EVEN if there are; I don't think anyone deliberately picks either of those, so IF there's a Vig then they holstered by their own choice.

** I also don't see anyone picking Town Doctor in a UPick. Like, everybody knows Scum roles will have as much powered roles as they could, so strongman or "unstoppable" kills will exist. Also it's hard enough for the Doctor to outguess the Scum, and even more so when it's possible the game is multi-ball (meaning you could stop a scum kill on a different scum faction member, thus acting anti-town in effect).. etc. All in all I personally wouldn't pick Doctor if I saw the option.

But -since my mind just loves to go places- let me tell you that your question here triggered something inside me. EVEN if they did try to shoot Korina the next night, that would not have stopped the recruitment of a second player ( I am assuming Recruitment goes under Miscellaneous; which would make it resolve before the Kill). There is also the slight chance Korina had recruited a protector and that cultist now would protect him. (I know I said i don't think there's a "Doctor", but a BABYSITTER -for example- is also a Protector, and I would favour that over Doctor if I was to pick between these two specifically)

Also, from my PoV (and i hold no one to my own line of thoughts) when I pick a role I do it with 2 basic things in mind:

1- I have a good fake claim to cover up for it (if I'm scum)
2- I help my faction (general statement that applies to town/scum/alien/cult or whatever said faction may be)

It is evident that if samantha is Town she picked a role that I would have never picked for myself (it's a Town role alright, but it's a -ve utility; especially when I know some Town are most likely to pick killing roles, and samantha's role totally blocks these). If she is not Town; then there are over 10K roles out there and I am not going to go through them all (speaking for myself) to find an explanation for what's been going on.

Finally (this part is self-meta, so skip if you don't believe in that): My most recent meta is I am apathetic and outright lurking when I draw scum. This happens to be my most recent scum game (I replaced into a scum slot). Check it out if you have the time and will.

I -personally- believe KidAmn is Town. It's not a mechanical read (neither is it mod-confirmed to me nor is it by virtue of a confirmed claim.. etc), but all of his posts, stances and his thought process appear to be coming form the same perspective I'm coming from.

As a matter of fact -and as it stands right this minute- my only 2 suspects are mahi (out of the question for the lim) and CaptainS.

However; as I repeatedly mentioned, we need to yeet smamantha (whom I think is more likely a townie who decided to pick a role that is extremely anti-town) today and let the night action(s) resolve the other 2.
