Here I’m (key ally) asking him to take a step back and reconsider on no face, or at least beyond the reasons he’s mostly been pushing for. The unvote came like, immediately after I told him I think he’s wrong and asked him to think about it

I just find it odd that you haven’t wanted more direct engagement with me or had like, a lot of interest in my progression on you

Vanders pinged me on the early stuff because a lot of his posting felt surface level and just kinda going through the motions

I’m also inherently suspicious of anyone who makes mechanics a focus, and I felt like he did that too, by debating on the whole 6p/3p thing

The e-1 felt super opportunistic in the same way that he made votes on wagons gathering steam in UGC where he was my buddy

But then there’s merit in the idea of “who would put vanders in the pool which you’d expect the stronger scum to be in?” And the answer is probably only infinity and maaaaybe bingle

Plus the other people in UGC are both saying they got different vibes there than here, and skitter thinks he’s v town which is also giving me pause

Mena when we play together in the future we're going to do a lot of compromising to make our playstyles work, I think we can do it though

@hectic sorry if it was frustrating! the pooky wagon going up so quickly just felt really off at that point and I was feeling kinda spicy and didn’t have like, strong scum vibes off anyone in particular? So the vocal opposition was to try and sort via my opposition and how it was taken by everyone

And then I kinda went back and reread and was like “huh, actually no face isn’t really being unreasonable here” and then the way pooky was interacting with you felt increasingly off, and the thing that kinda clinched it was that it didn’t feel like you minded that much if you died today whereas it felt like pooky really was trying to avoid it

Also @hectic fwiw, I think norwee has kinda learned how to handle me which is to not necessarily take me too seriously, I’m often kinda flippant or hyperbolic but I’d like to think that I’m somewhat >average at reconsidering things given a bit of time

So like I hope that’s helpful for future games? Idk, really not my intention to make playing unpleasant or frustrating for anyone else

I lowkey feel that this was harder for scum given that both skitter and pooky have got such strong reputations as scum players

I feel like it would maybe work better if there were more of a disparity in how both are perceived

It’s just worked out that way, I’m like in a somewhat better place now emotionally than I was and so I’m not as checked out as I was in the normal that just happened! +I think I’m just a bit more engaged in opens/micros with a cool concept anyway vs normals which i don’t tend to enjoy so much from a mafia PoV regardless of how much I like the PL

This game was just like a perfect storm for me being into it lol
