Boyd having his start postponed on Sunday was gonna make me mad if I lost more pitching stats.

What do you mean? I have Williams, Gonzalez, Price, added Tejay Antone a few days ago. Is there something I'm missing (keeping in mind that this is my first time playing fantasy baseball)?

Is this really your first year? It was mostly a joke that I beat you in S+H 8-0 last week but looking at your record you are averaging 1-2 saves per week. Idk if there are any better ones out there that you can grab but it's something you might want to look into.

I also know that it's hard b/c we only get 3 adds per week which is something I could change next season if we wanted too but yeah, just offering some advice.

Missed setting my roster in time on Saturday by 10 minutes since I was camping/had crappy cell service and it almost cost me the win. That was much more of a sweat than I would've liked it to be.

Can we get a decision on how entry into the playoffs is going to work? It’s starting to look like weekly win/loss vs categories is going to make a difference on who gets in.

The weeks not even half way over yet and you could easily catch up in several categories. I only really have SB and TB on lock, probably RBI too.

So I sat DeSclafani under the assumption that we’re hopefully going to seed playoffs on week to week matchups and not categories (especially since I think that’s how they were previously seeded). Is this going to be the case?

I don’t think it’ll make a difference of who’s going to make it into the playoffs but it looks like it could make a difference in overall seeding.

After 15 weeks, category standings keep Nero close in Division 1 at 4.5 games back (2.5 GB in head to head standings) and give him a comfortable lead over Kilga despite being just one game ahead H2h.

In Division 2, Sharon has a 9.5 category lead and only 0.5 games H2h. She's still benefiting from categories, but only slightly now.

In the Wild Card race, I pulled ahead in either format, but it's still close.

The top two teams face off this week. Sharon vs Joe. Nero has an opportunity to get back into the top two overall, maybe even taking the division lead back in category based standings as he faces Ninetails. I'll be looking to close the gap in Division 2 with my matchup vs Rhinox.

I feel like categories greatly rewards whoever is playing any of the teams that are not actively setting their rosters. For example this week I’m likely gonna go 10-2 or better because my opponent is playing 30 less total games than me this week, whereas the teams that are on or near the playoff bubble that are facing each other will be more likely to go 7-5 or something.

Well, this week got tense in a hurry.

As long as Ohtani doesn't fuck things up then you should win this. GGs either way, my biggest mistake by far was using my 3rd add on a reliever when I was already unlikely to catch you in saves. Not sure what I was thinking there...

Congrats kilga. I definitely enjoyed my first season of fantasy baseball. Was happy with how things were run though I personally think next year we should do straight up win loss records vs categories. I'll be returning regardless, just my 2 cents
