i will admit that my ~confidence~ in anya!scum has kinda fallen even flatter than before but i'm not sure i've heard good arguments for running up someone else right now. honestly probably the best potential argument for that i can think of rn is george's "wow gaiz anya is town" post being scum defending a loltownie bc they think the townie is about to die without their help but like. question is how much i believe in that argument myself.

if we're being Really Spicy i'd even throw out possibly speedyeeting alice, but let's be real that is nothing but a coin flip. it'd be incorrect to say i scumread her bc i don't think it's possible to scumread her considering she's put out *almost zero content*.

i mean, i'm not sure i do think that. i *could* see the argument for george being a wk-ing scum here, and if it turned out to be the case i wouldn't be surprised at all. but the problem is that i don't exactly believe in that. it all feels the same. feels like mud. i think i'd need a stronger case for swinging onto george here when (1) i'm histroically shite at reading him (2) i'm scumreading anya (3) anya has already claimed (4) i'm not sure i'm noticing the ~gamestate difference~ that iv keeps talking about, other than a few people voting one of anya/george but not voting the other (and that's really not enough to tell me things about ~the gamestate~ when nobody is flipped and my reads are probably lolrandom right now).

As I indicated in 717, I just don't get the sense that Gypyx is asking questions that have conviction or are seeking to really understand.

Going off memory, I couldn't tell you who he has really interrogated or what he asked them about.

I'm probably being slightly unfair, because yes that statement is true of a lot of people -- but Gypyx also strikes me as a really smart and creative person, so I guess I expected more from his gameplay having never shared a game with him before.

in an average game, this is where i would force an argument with you about your read of the "cheap point i tried to score". however, i suspect the majority of the game wouldn't bother reading that (as i get the feeling they're barely reading the game anyway) and my read on you is already "eh kinda town, we'll see how things develop" so it'd most likely be more effort than it's worth.

it's just not good play (although i think there's still merit to raising concerns about a wagon)

like i said it's a weakness of mine im much worse at the "find scum and push them" offensive part bc it's hard for me to be confidnet about scumreads especially this early
