This is already divergent, not just in the fact that he's posting but in the level of read/reaction given on gorilla and the willingness to be offensive towards the slot

As Ceph pointed out you did misinterpret it yes. But also your comment on him seems pretty similar to mastina's which is interesting. What did you guys dislike so much about his opening?

Kind of, kind of not. It was a very vague bad feeling relating to Cephrir's post spacing but it was a bad thought that makes no sense even by my standards. Not enough data, reset. I empathized incorrectly with what I thought was a similar experience, but turned out not to be. This is a bit too much stream of thought to be coherent.

My initial thought was that DN was scummy for over-justifying what was actually a useless vote.

However, as scum, why would he state so confidently that he has read about total war when his entire post clearly indicates he has no idea what is going on? Particularly since I expect that this would have already been a talking point in the Russian PT and/or scum would put more thought into where they vote and how it will be perceived.

DN’s post appears to me very likely to come from someone unaligned and alone in the world.

I am fairly confident in that.
