You may target someone on even days, which will add "Inverted" status to the target's role. "Inverted" will cause the target's actions (if any) to do exactly the opposite of what was intended. (A Doctor will kill, a Cop will frame, a Killer will protect etc). Inverted status stays permanently.

Your action cannot be traced by tracker, watcher and motion detector types of roles.

If the following day they cast a vote on you, they get killed by a silent bomb (kill will not be announced including no flip). However, if you activate it and no one visits you that night, you die at the start of the following day.

For all intents and purposes you are just a vanilla townie.

If you become a treestump for any reason, you will gain the ability to create one of these spears every night to use it the same night they are created:

Pine Spear:
Kills a player
Maple Spear
: Lie detects a player, if the target lied it dies.
Oak Spear:
Kills and treestumps another player
Alder Spear:
Self stabs with it removing itself from the game and off to the DVC.
Beech Spear
: Watches a player and reflexively kill whoever targets the player you are watching.

Fulfiller is an independent alignment whose win condition is tied to fulfilling a mission. If such mission is not fulfilled for whatever reason, they lose. If you rand this role everyone (except you) starts the game vanillaized. The mod will announce that everyone has been vanillalized.

You have the power to enable a role type during the day phases for the rest of the game (by posting one of the youtube songs from the list bellow), activating roles that were randed to the other players during pregame.

You win when you have successfully enabled four types of roles, leaving the game. You may choose to stay in the game after fulfilling your win condition to enable more role types at the risk of getting killed and losing the game instead. 1) They can choose to gather a DNA sample from a dead player, which will contain the DNA of that person's killer,

2) they can choose to compare an already collected DNA sample from a dead player with the DNA of another (living or dead) player to discover if that person matches the DNA of that person's killer, or

3) if the DNA Analyst has DNA samples from multiple murders, they can choose to find out which of these match each other (i.e. which were killed by the same player).

The Voodoo Lady may each night target a player and choose a 7+ letter word. If the chosen target posts the word the next day, there is a 50% chance that they will immediately die. If the target survives the first 50/50, they will be immune to the Voodoo Lady's effect for the remainder of the day.

The Voodoo Lady wins and leaves the game when they have successfully killed three players in this fashion.

The Mistletoe may target two players every night. If the two players share the same alignment, they will fall in love. If they do not share the same alignment, the Mistletoe will be informed that the pairing failed. The Mistletoe wins once everyone alive in the game is in love with someone (whether or not that other player is still alive), presuming that the Mistletoe is also still alive.

Players who fall in love with each other are not informed of this. The Mistletoe ends the game upon victory.

You will passively get a bulletproof vest that will protect you from one night kill the following night this vest was earnt, when anyone besides yourself posts a gif with cats in it. You will lose the vest after that night even if it was not used.

You will passively and secretly get the role name of ONE player who posts a GIF with at least a dog in it. You can only get one role name per cycle.

The Clockmaker is an independently aligned role that wins if their clock ever strikes 12 or if they are one of the last 2 players remaining in the game. The Clockmaker may each night target one person to be killed, which is how they change the time on the clock. The clock starts at 9 and will go up 2 hours if they kill a town and down 1 hour if they kill a non-town. If the clock hits 10, the Clockmaker will receive one Bulletproof vest. If the clock hits 6, the Clockmaker dies. If the Clockmaker wins, they are removed from the game.

The Hoodlum will at the beginning of the game provide the host with a list of four names of other players in the game. If at the end of the game, the Hoodlum is still alive and all the named players are dead, the Hoodlum will attain a solo victory.

T-Veronica may each night target a player, putting a spell on them. If that player dies during that night or during the following day phase, they will be resurrected as a zombie. Zombies cannot post or vote or have any actions done to them, but each zombie gives T-Veronica one extra vote. If T-Veronica ever has enough votes to outnumber all other living players, they will win. Zombies retain their original win condition.

The Siren is fulfiller aligned player who may submit one name each night. If the named player visits the Siren on that night, they die. The first two times someone targets to kill you, they will fail. Once the Siren successfully kills two players in this fashion, they win and leave the game.

Demon Vote Stealer

Demon is an alignment that can only win with groupscum aligned parties that share a PT and can only have passive/reflexive roles. In addition, they have the ability to reverse engineer active items and weapons that they get from other parties into passive ones.

On odd days, you will steal the vote of whoever votes against you during the day, not only removing the vote against you in question but also gaining that amount of vote for yourself for that day.
I.e Player X votes against you on Day 1, the vote will not be counted, Player X will lose his ability to vote for that day and you will become a double voter, and so on for every player that votes against you.

You are macho every night, meaning you can't be protected.

Bitcoins currency and shopping mechanic is activated and remain active even after the Tycoon Leader is dead.
You count as having two alignments (Cult and Fulfiller)

Should it become necessary to know, you possess

in spending cash.

• During the day on alternating days, you may send out an anonymous advertisement for three openings in your business by PMing the mod.

: Allows you to bring back a player from the dead.

: It removes the target from any and all PTs permanently.
1-Shot Replicator
: The Replicator may target another player each night, killing them and stealing their role (but not alignment). If the kill attempt is successful, the targeted player will be revealed as Replicator upon death.
Mod Note: If the tycoon leader ends up using the Replicator shot instead of selling it, he may give the stolen role to one of its cultists, otherwise the stolen role is discarded.

1-Shot Roleblocker

1-Shot Animalizer
: Transforms the player into an animal. The player may only post with GIFs with that animal in it. The animal is randomly selected by the host.
1-Shot Nemesis
: The Nemesis may during the day quote a statement made by a player with “
JUDGEMENT DAY
” in bold and the host tag and post it to the thread.
If the statement is false the target player dies immediately, if it is true, the Nemesis user dies.


After you have produced an item, you might EITHER keep it for yourself and use it, or you might instead
Secretly send it to a player in exchange for 2 bitcoins from their balance.
You got no choice on this matter. If the player has no balance you assume the loss.

All players start with 6 Bitcoins, and will steal someone's bitcoins if they kill them or hammer them.

To win with this role, you must survive to the end of the game with a positive cash amount and be 50% of the game’s population. Anyone aligned towards you will conditionally win with you. If you are dead, your cult members die with you and resurrect as lone demons who reflexively vanillalize whoever targets them to kill them and they may be re-converted.

You lose when you can’t fulfill your wincon or when you try to convert a groupscum member who shares a PT.

Mod Note: The host may secretly make whoever selects this role, immune to theft the first two nights and immune to de-neighborizing abilities all game.

Three times per game, at the start of each day you may post to thread anonymously through the host:
Job Offer and description.


During the following night, whoever can do the job (independent contractor) will do so and submit the result anonymously through the host upon which the bitcoin amount you offered for the job will be deducted from your balance and added to the “independent contractor”.
I.e. You post through the host on Day 1:

Job Offer:
Protect Player A tonight for $4 Bitcoins

Then Player B with a protection role decides to take the job and targets Player A to protect it.
If Player B successfully targeted Player A to protect it (it didnt get redirected to another target or role blocked), then the host will deduct $4 Bitcoins from Player A and credit it to Player B, regardless of whether or not Player A was targeted for a kill.

Do notice that any information that independent contractors were supposed to get with their actions if it was not a paid job, will only be disclosed to the Job Poster.

Nasty Plot
: You investigate the target player's alignment. If they are mafia, they will be informed that someone played a prank on them. If ITAs are enabled, you also gain a 25% hit rate bonus for your next shot.

Imprison
: You jailkeep the target player. If one of you has targeted the other previously, you will be added to a neighborhood together that will cease to exist the following night.

Once per game and during the day phase, you may also submit a PM to the hosts indicating you would like to announce your presence. The hosts will then reveal to the thread that

Lizzy starts in a random neighborhood or masonry, which may include scum chats.
If Lizzy is in a scumchat, their role will appear to be a vanilla version of whatever PT they are in. If they are in a masonry that reveals roles, they will appear to be a Mason Neighborizer.
Each night, they may choose to either add another player to the PT, poison a player within the PT, or hold a tea party, roleblocking everyone within the PT and killing anyone who is poisoned within the PT.
Lizzy's poison is unhealable.
Everyone who is added to the PT is poisoned, but their poison can be healed.
If Lizzy dies, everyone that they poisoned die with them.

Lizzy wins when they are the last one standing, but they may leave any players that do not require their death alive.

: Once per game, you may target a player. You will attempt to watch and track that player ignoring undetectable statuses that they may have.
You neighborize whoever visits your target, making a chat with them with day and night talk. You investigate whoever your target visits and find out if they have any modifiers on them and which ones.

c)
2-Shot Bomb Detector
: At night, you may target a player. You will attempt to detect whether it carries bomb items or if they have bomb related roles and how many (Items or shots). Then the following day you may trigger those bombs killing their carriers.

d)
1-Shot Nikita
: At night, you may self target. If someone visits you the Nikita will lock and shoot its missile to them, killing them and two more targets sharing a PT with them (Scum chats, Neighborhoods, Mason chats, Cult Chats etc). If you use this shot and nobody visits you, you will lose it regardless.

Your mission is to locate and kill other “Maximus”, upon doing so you win and leave the game.
If no other Maximus is present in the game then you must kill any independent aligned player to win, ending the game with a solo victory.

You have the power of interception and assassination.


From Night 1 to Night 3, you may target three players, you will get three results as “Maximus” or “Not Maximus” (or “Independent” or “Not Independent” if there are no other Maximus in the game) but you will not be told what players corresponds each result.

On Day 4 you must post to the thread “MAXIMUS” in light blue font, size 200. You will become unyeetable this day.

On Night 4, you must shoot to kill two players from the targets you chose on any of the previous three nights.
These kills are unblockable and unmanipulable, but they can be tracked.

If one of those two players is a Maximus (or independent) you fulfill your wincon. If they are not, you lose and leave the game at the start of Day 5.

All Maximus are immune to conversions

Their real roles will be publicly revealed to the thread. If one of them is a Maximus type, a Conversion type or a Mission type, you wiN and leave the game.

If it isn't then you become a vanilla with a new assigned win condition chosen by the game mod.

They will have to do so each night or else a blank message will be sent. They may not just set it during pregame and forget it. It really depends on whether you'd consider the reflexive mailman message setting an action or not (bear in mind, a reflexive mailman is still passive).

A Demon Dark Demon for example would keep the "Anyone investigating you will receive a message saying that you are a frightening and evil Dark Demon." passive but have the cloak in darkness ability voided (by that, that ability will not appear on the Role PM or flip).

Demons are more generalized than double groupscum, while double groupscum are Traitors demons neither have traitor notify or access to active abilities (can they use items actively?)
Being able to send a message every night qualifies as active so no.
Same for items, they cant use items actively, but they can reverse engineer it and add them to their bodies to be used reflexively.

For example, if they get a gun thst they can shoot only during the day with 50% chance of being loud, the dark demon can set it as a reflexive shot that kills anyone targeting the demon during the day, with 50% chance of announcing the reflexive kill?

Alright, a Reflexive Mailman is still a passive role for action resolution purposes so roleblocking a Reflexive Mailman won't crash the game. The former Demon Reflexive Mailman is going to stay a Demon Static Reflexive Mailman as a Demon / active ability role card is inelegant. I still think voiding is better as some roles have passive and active components.

If you want to add that to the Demon faction you can, maybe as a factional ability that doesn't count as active despite being active (a Demon Enforcer is still an effective named Demon though)

If the Hydra is killed, all heads die, losing the game.

Hydras (the alignment) have a PT for all the players absorbed into their slot and an example two-headed Hydra would show as Guillotina + TemporalLich on the alive list right? I'd ideally not have to create accounts to support a technically third-party alignment so the PT will help coordinate things.
Ok. Yea, they share a PT, but they can only post and vote from one account and they can choose to keep it a secret and post as the main head or claim that they are a new head but the mod will not confirm it.
In the list it only shows the name of the main head of the hydra though, because otherwise players will immediately know what’s going on just by looking into this thread, making it an obvious target and a double kill for groupscum if the second head was not a former mafia member.

It would show in the night results something along the lines “Player X is nowhere to be found”, to alert the player list that there is one vote less available, similar to how kidnapped players are announced.

Reroll if there are no Starkin aligned players in the game.


At start of day 1, you will be told how many Starkins are present in the game.

During the day, you must kill a player (if able). During the night you may investigate a player to find out if they are aligned with Starkin or not (The result will be “Yes” for Starkin, or “No” for not Starkin.

You fulfill your mission and leave the game a victor when you kill a Starkin during the day
WITH YOUR ROLE ACTION,
if it's small game, or
TWO
if it's a large game with at least two Starkins in the same. You lose when you kill three non-starkins in a row or when no Starkin is left available to kill.

You are immune to kills by Starkin and to vanillaizations in general.

The Specters have a factional “Sleep Paralysis” action that they can target a player that is alive with. Players under sleep paralysis cannot perform any night actions, they cannot communicate in PTs that night and they are informed of what types actions they are targeted by (excluding those from specters). If a player is killed while under “Sleep Paralysis" during the night or they die the following day by any means, their soul is collected by the Specter faction, joining them in the specter chat

Twice per game, at night, you may target a player that is still alive to mark them with the “symbol of the beast”. Whoever they visit at night will suffer sleep paralysis the following night and if they (your target) get visited at night, they will get sleep paralysis the next night instead.

Mafia Dark Spirit

“Dark Spirit” functions as Jack Of All Trades, you have access to one or more night actions. Don't have to start in any specific order but you have to cycle through every action to use the same again and you cannot holster actions.

x3 Cop Invalidator

The Cop Invalidator may at night target a person and make them unable to be successfully investigated by Cop abilities for the rest of the game. May not self target.

x3 Restless Spirit

If you die the night this action is activated or the following day, you become a dark spirit, and your flip will reveal only your alignment.

x3 Wildcard

The Wildcard may target someone at night and use a random power on them in the game, randomly selected from any other power role in the game. If there are no other power roles left in the game, then the Wildcard's action does nothing.

If You die with the Restless Spirit activated, you get a new set of actions. You don't have to cycle through these actions to use one again and you can use multiple actions per night. You however MAY NOT holster.


x3 Dark Spirit

The Dark Spirit is still allowed to vote after having died in the game. The Dark Spirit may not post anything other than their vote and you are also not able to use any night actions that you had while you were alive. The dark spirit loses its vote power at final 7 and beyond. Dark Spirit does not gain access to the graveyard and retains **READ-ONLY **access to the mafia chat. You cannot be resurrected.

Note:
The Dark Spirit does not count for parity, may not post or otherwise be interacted with by living players.
Do not angleshoot this!


x3 Drag To Hell

At night, you may target a dead player to drag them from the DVC straight to hell. Hell is a separate dead chat where they cannot use any pre-mortem or post-mortem abilities. Players in hell cannot be resurrected or interacted with by the living.

x3 Spirit Blocker

At night, you may target a player in the dead PT to block any post-mortem abilities or any non-ability actions they can perform at night. You cannot target the same player two nights in a row.

Hades:
If you choose this role and you are a specter, you don't die at the start of the game. You can post in the thread as well as in the dead PT. You can also vote by using the factional vote if you have any otherwise, you cannot vote. For all intents and purposes you count as a dead person and can still die if you are targeted by dead interaction abilities from the living. However you can also be targeted to be killed by the living, if you are, the host will reveal your alignment and role and you no longer can post and vote in the thread.

All other actions against you will fail unless they are abilities that specifically interact with the dead.

Mafia Killing Framer

The killing framer will kill one random person who targets that player with a night action on that same night (except for alignment investigations), in addition to making your target immune to the person's actions that night. If targeted by alignment investigation actions, your target will show as opposite alignment. If targeted by multiple people, no one dies.

At night, the Gorgolum may change one role a member of his faction got for one ability that they don’t (except killing actions), from the Deck of Astral Roles thread. The Gorgolum cannot replace itself. If town gets this role and they target any non-town, the action will fail (town will not be informed that it failed).

During the day you have the factional vote action. You can select a player to have an extra vote for that day. This vote is not announced that is coming from your faction.

Specters can never perform kill actions.

If a Specter is targeted by a player with an ability to interact with the dead or are resurrected by living players, the entire faction loses the game.


Der Mystik:
At night, Der Mystik passively charges everyone that voted on a vanity wagon the previous day with a mysterious energy.

Once per game, during the night, you may put under Sleep Paralysis everyone you have ever charged with a mysterious energy for that night.

Fulfiller Sabotage Master

You have the ability to summon a demon (not related to the demon alignment) every day or night, to attempt to kill a player in an unique way. You win and leave the game after having committed three unique kills. You lose if you kill another player by other means or you dont fulfill your wincon when the game ends.

During the day, summon **Grolan**, if you are the last voter of your own elimination wagon, the biggest counter wagoned player dies instead. You can summon this demon even after the day action submission deadline has been met.

At night, summon **Guillo**, you may target a player to make them a paranoid killer, making them kill their first visitor.

During the day, summon **Titus**, then target a player to send them an Titus gun, if they shoot it they die instead.

At night, summon **Grogu**, then select a target, whoever visits it at night will die incinerated the following day at a random time. Grogu fails to work if the target has an artifact.

At night, summon **Mac**, then select a target to mark them for death, the target will die two nights after and will flip with your alignment and role.

During the day, summon **The Keeper**, then send the host a post for him to post as himself incriminating a target of something bad, if they get executed, their last voter dies too.

During the day, summon **Ircher**, then target a player, if they get executed, you kill yourself. This kill counts towards your win condition of course.

You can summon a demon once PER CYCLE (Day/Night) and cannot use the same demon two cycles in a row.
The demons names are announced in the thread their unique kill is successful. In example:

Grogu loves the smell of the grilled meat.

You cannot Gambit Innocent Child or anything that requires the host to confirm (falsely or not) that you are town aligned.

This is not a Modposter ability, you must first initiate the gambit and use the host to confirm it, not the other way around.

The Serial Killer is an independently aligned role that may kill someone each night and wins by being last man standing.

The Replicator
may target another player each night, killing them and stealing their role (but not alignment). If the kill attempt is successful, the targeted player will be revealed as

Replicator upon death. Stolen roles will be added as part of your repertoire but you can only use one role per cycle.
This role shouldn't be interpreted as a janitoring Vigilante, but rather as a role on the team that you can elect to carry out your faction's factional kill, similar to how Strongman and Ninja works.

If this role is selected by a player from a faction with no factional action, then they become a regular night vigilante.

I edited it to fill that void lol. It is actually a mafia role originally.

Mafia may assign the player with replicator to carry out the factional kill and if successful, they steal their role adding it to their repertoire of abilities and death tailoring the target to flip as Mafia Replicator themselves.

Hydra Puppet Master

A Hydra is an independent alignment capable of growing multiple heads by targeting players and consuming them into the Hydra's main body, absorbing not only the players themselves, but also their roles and win conditions.

Essentially, a Hydra aligned player starts off under a Hydra account by himself and every time they consume a target, the slot vanishes and shares the Hydra account with the main player. The targets also bring with them the roles (can multitask) and win conditions to the hydra body. Hydra may end up with multiple win conditions to pick from.

The Hydra wins when they fulfill one of those win conditions.

Only the main head of the Hydra will show in the player list and they share 1 vote total.

If the Hydra is killed, all heads die, losing the game.

Factional Action:
Every night, you may target a player to consume them regardless of alignment and role. This action counts as a visit and can be detected, it however cannot be role blocked.


Puppet Master
: Night Action. The Puppet Master may three times per game target one player whose night action, if they have any, will be transferred to and automatically used by a specific second player also chosen by the Puppet Master.

I.e. if the Puppet Master targets a Cop who is investigating Player A and transfers the Cop's night action to Player B, then Player B will automatically use the Cop ability and receive a result for Player A. This would, for example, ensure that an outed Cop's ability can still be used, since roleblocking or killing the Cop will not prevent Player B from receiving an investigation result. Because Player B is the one using the night action, he/she will also be tracked to it by Trackers/Watchers.

The Caroler may each night visit a person and sing them a carol. The carol will inform the targeted player of 3 names, at least one of which is not Town aligned. However, if the targeted person is visiting someone on that night, they will not hear the carol. The Caroler may not choose the same player on consecutive nights.

The Caroler is usually included in the randomization pool for the 3 names told to the target. Note that the Caroler will not know which 3 names were spoken to the target, and neither will they know if their target successfully received the 3 names.

2) By visiting a stone holder or someone also visiting who you visit (they will be informed of the theft but not your identity).
3) By guessing the name of a stone holder during twilight.

Abilities

Every night you may target a player (dead or alive) to visit them. This action is immune to reflexive killers.

You start with one bulletproof vest, you will be informed when it's used.
Stones cannot be stolen from you.

My opinion is that if there is a role that interacts with the dead in any way, the DEAD PT cannot be spoiled by the moderator for obvious reasons and warn in the PT that there are dead interactions in the game but not punish players for spoiling their own info in the PT.

Captain: The Captain will at the start of the game be given control over X number of players with power roles. Neither party will know anything about each other's alignment and/or identity. If they choose "Obey", it will succeed, presuming no other sources of interference. If they choose "Disobey", they will not be able to use their action. I.e. if the Captain has control over a Cop, they will be able to give the Cop an order to investigate Player A, and the Cop would have to "Obey" the order if they want to not forego their night action. The Captain does not receive any information pertaining to the results of his subjects' night actions. However, depending on the variant, the Captain might be informed if one of his subjects chooses to "Disobey". The Captain uses his ability during day and as such cannot be roleblocked, unless there's a Day Roleblocker, in which case the roleblock would mean that the Captain's subjects will not receive any orders. Roleblocking the Captain at night will not have any effect on his subjects' abilities.

Fulfiller is an independent alignment whose win condition is tied to fulfilling a mission. If such mission is not fulfilled for whatever reason, they lose. If fulfillers rand vanilla the mod may assign them another alignment (or a Fulfiller attached to a role with no special Fulfiller mission gets a mission from the moderator).


During pregame and each night, may bet on a player. If that player is eliminated (yeeted) on the following day, gain a chip. Similarly, during the day, may bet on a player. If that player is killed on the following night, gain a chip. Bets cannot be placed while dead, but chips may still be earned.

Additionally, while placing a bet, You may designate it as high stakes.

Wins fulfilling your mission and exits the game if you hold three chips OR if a high stakes bet is won. Loses and exits the game if a high stakes bet is failed.

: Once, per game. You may during a day submit a post in private to the host, who will post it anonymously in the thread for everyone to see as soon as humanly possible. If you use this ability, you will lose all other abilities.

The tricky guy may change the commands "Claim Verification" and "Host Confirmation" for something else, so other players may not deduce your role by looking into the DoAR thread.

If you visit a wind elemental, you may visit three players the following night.
If you visit a target with more than one governing element, you become one of those elements yourself and gain the powers that element grants the regular elementals.
