Town Exponential Cycle Numbering


The cycle number increases with the function 2^x, where x is the true cycle number.

For example: Pregame is Night 1 (if any roles can act during pregame or specifically on Night 1 that is), True Cycle 1 is numbered Cycle 2, True Cycle 2 is numbered Cycle 4, True Cycle 3 is numbered Cycle 8, True Cycle 4 is numbered Cycle 16, and so on...

I think there might need to be a rule that X cannot be Town for reasons that after saying this, should be obvious
The non-mysterious version of this role is an . Picking Town as the alignment is a Bloodhound check, for example. This is still a weaker role than the Alignment Cop (which learns the exact alignment, and can't be fooled by Wrong Place at the Wrong Time which would return an incorrect "Not Town" result to a Bloodhound).

Each night, you may check a player. You will be informed of whether your check attempt on that player succeeded or not. Your check is treated as a kill action by all roles that care about your action.

For example, this will fail on a Doctor protected player unless they are targeted by at least the same amount of kills that the Doctor protection can protect from, as this resolves later than killing actions due to NAR's Golden Rule.

Mafia 1-shot Radio Silencer


Once in the game during night, you may force the mod to obey radio silence for the Night and the following Day. The moderator may not post night or day scenes with the exception of suppressed flips and may not post any public messages (The mod may still post votecounts and answer questions directed to them). During radio silence, investigative actions, Mailman actions, and Neighborizer actions will fail no matter what circumstances are in play (e.g. a Strong-Willed Alignment Cop or a Strong-Willed Mailman will still fail due to radio silence).

If they violate it a third time, the offending player shall unavoidably die.

Unlike other Fight Stoppers, the moderator may not veto this ability and you are free to use this ability to advance your win condition.

They are no longer alive, but they don't join any Dead PTs. In addition, they leave the game without a flip and are unstoppably roleblocked.

You win when all other Anti-Town factions, the town, and any neutrals that seek to do you harm are dead.

Same alignment as . Frost alignment has the collective time freeze ability and the Frozen Clan PT.

Also I'm pretty sure lightblue is hard to see on light themes.

If I'm reading this right this can result in a time freeze success rate of greater than 100% right? How would a 50%/50% tie be resolved? What about >50%/50% (maybe possible with this role)?

Even besides that, modkills for the purposes of game integrity should never be allowed to fail to protect the integrity of games.

Reposting this role as this is pretty much Frail but no amount of protection will save you. I'd personally rule that two doctors targeting a Frail player = Frail player survives as the kill generated from Frail failed, though if I were interpreting the role exactly as written two doctors will still result in a Frail role dying as only protections were used on the Frail player.

Town Limit Ordinalizer


Each night, you may force the cycle number to increase to the next limit ordinal.

The first limit ordinal is ω (omega), which is the first infinite ordinal. Therefore, the first time using this ability will cause the next Day to be Day ω

The next phase after Night ω will be Day ω + 1 (ω + 1 is considered a successor ordinal, not a limit ordinal). Using the ability again will make the next phase Day ω2 instead.

Even/Odd Day/Night roles consider every limit ordinal to be even, every odd numbered successor ordinal to be odd, and every even numbered successor ordinal to be even. For example, Day ω is even, Day ω+1 is odd, and Day ω+2 is even.

If the cycle number is somehow less than 0 when this ability is used, mod discretion applies to whether a Limit Ordinalizer increases the cycle number to 0 or ω.

I edited my fight stopper to actually make it an unlimited-use role like I intended it to be, this made me realize I still left the 2-shot text in the role card when I wanted it to be an Each Day version.

You are in a PT with other Hypogeans, who are confirmed to not be Town-aligned.

You belong to the faction with the fewest players at the beginning of the game. If there is a tie between multiple factions, the moderator will decide which.

Mod Note: Add "Hypogean" to a random non-Town-aligned player's role when rolling this role.

This will typically join Alternate Mafia, Aliens, and other unconventional factions who may only have one player present. Dark Horses do not join third parties such as serial killers. So in other words, the dark horse will join the smallest group of players who are capable of sharing a PT and coordinating actions together.

If Town is somehow the smallest faction, make this an Inner Sanctum Keeper (in a confirmed Town PT which may or may not be considered factional) instead and check your setup for balance. (this requires the alignment/role split to be intact)

When this role is rolled, the moderator should forcibly reroll any roles that they feel are unplayable, bastard in an unfun way, or excessively imbalanced (either in general, or in this setup in particular). Then this role should be rerolled.

Directly taken from , this allows the moderator to veto roles that are merely kinda bad as the moderator already can veto roles that are completely unfun or game-breaking.

Let's assume that I rolled SK and Mizzy got healed before N3... What result would you get for Prediction C? Inconclusive? Impossible? Wait until N3 is over?

Anyone attempting to investigate you will instead receive a successful Universal Cop check on you. (They will learn your true role card, including mod notes and stuff the moderator has hidden from the player. Furthermore, they will learn the exact post(s) the player's role and alignment comes from.)

This effect happens even if the investigation is blocked or redirected, they will still receive a successful Universal Cop check on you (and not the player they were redirected to).

Anyone investigating you will receive a message saying that you are a frightening and evil Dark Demon.

Each night, you may cloak someone in darkness. They will be roleblocked, and will receive frightening visions of a random night action targeting them the next Night (if they weren't targeted the next Night, they will receive frightening visions of demons).

You win if someone receives frightening visions of demons, or receives frightening visions of a kill and survives.

Mod Note: This has an unusual aligment/role split - Alignment contains the full package, while the role is Vanilla.

You have 13 fear counters applied to you from the start of the game or whenever you acquire this role.

Any player using a night action will remove a fear counter from themselves (1 per night). Fear counters will be applied before the removal (e.g. 0 counters day 2 if night action used on night 1). Doctors and bodyguards (and equivalent roles with different names) will remove 1 fear counter from their target.

Each night, you must choose one of these abilities to use. This action can't be blocked, redirected or interfered with in any way:

Dreams
Flavor
Knowledge

You may choose each ability only once, and will not know what the ability does until you use it.

Mod Note: Remove "6: The New Millennium" from the role PM.

The Strong-Willed Dreaming God's abilities are (feel free to randomize each ability from all Strong-Willed Dreaming God abilities of the same name if you want, this applies to other iterations of the Dreaming God as well):

Connections - Randomly inform two Town-aligned players that the other is Town-aligned and knows they are Town-aligned.
Dreams - The moderator will post "I'm dreaming of X" at the start of the next Day, where X is a fruit.
Flavor - The moderator will post a flavor inexplicably referring to "the consuming darkness".
Knowledge - One random player is informed of another player's true role card.
Lockout - The moderator will lock the game thread for 24 hours 24 hours after the next Day starts.
Pressure - The moderator inexplicably changes the elimination term used for the game. A random player will get a vote from "the Vote Fiends".
Stasis - The prod timer is repealed the next Day, and the deadline is doubled permanently.
Vision - The moderator will post "I'm dreaming of X" at the start of the next Day, where X is the number of roles assigned to alive groupscum that the moderator dislikes as a moderator.
