So I tend to scum-read people who argue about things that are pointless.

The way you did it with VV, I'm not sure what either of you are trying to accomplish if you're town in that argument.

So it's possible that this is some kind of scum-theatre where you argue with him about something meaningless but with enough intensity that later we think you can't be aligned when one of you and him flips.

I think Ana is unhappy with her new lover because Kerset has left a hole in her heart and RM doesn't seem to care at all.

I kind of want to give a BoP shot to Llama because I know from playing with him last game that he is highly competent and also by far the scariest player to play against if he is scum.

A BoP shot would neutralize his influence if he were scum while also giving him a solid chance to win the VT side if he were town - it's a move I really like to use when dealing with players of a high caliber in a small POE setting such as this.

Because here is the POV difference:

For Town!LLama, he knows he must get this shot correct between VV & Bambi Jay, because if he misses, he dies next and the town loses the game.

He must put maximum effort into his solve - to give the town the best odds of winning the game.

For Scum!Llama, he knows

it doesn't matter

what his solve is, he will die next elimination no matter which townie he pushes out for the first elim.

This creates a readable difference between what LlamaPuff does.

he flips town, that can eliminate the motivation for Scum!LLama to tryhard the solve.

Blaming a scapegoat for things when we miseliminate is a coward's way of avoiding responsibility for their vote being accurate and their fault. Even if everyone screams at you to vote someone that you Townread, even if they threaten to eliminate you if you don't, you must have an open mind and respond to the pressure solely with the intent to get scumreads eliminated or die yourself rather than eliminate scum, caving into the others and getting eliminated the next day phase as you're blamed if it goes wrong.

If I had a scumread in the vanillas I'd vote for them.

The base probability set on a miss is still a 50-50 in either situation, however the margin of error is worse.

VFP first post out of post-flip is to continue on with defending Llama by shading Bambi, then pushes on Ana/RM being scum even though earlier he had said SS is our scum partner.

There is no re-consideration of game state, the flip doesn't change his views at all. He hard tunnels on his solution because he can't afford to have Llama flip scum here.

They did nothing the entire game really. The closest they came to actually scumhunting was talking about how that they apparently (note this was after I had been calling VV scum) give me the shot to take out a VT, and if I was wrong I go next. That was really bothering me and still actually does, its the only reason I dont 100% buy your two as the town pair. Also their entire attack on me up until I voted for them seemed to be "they are trying to take control of the game like they did as scum".... when you have no meta on both sides, it starts becoming somewhat flawed without additional context, as in again (which Ana still refuses to confirm) how I said bussing is optimal as scum if you feel it wins the game.

I said it because I wanted to see if you would be willing to take control and to generate a divergent reaction from you.

I didn't even know you wanted to kill VV when I said it to you. The point of BoP shotting someone you think is very good at scum is to make them diverge.

Using BoP shots to generate effort variance is a very valid way to create definable reads, but since I have no support from anyone in this game it's impossible for me.
