the point of the analogy that there was an extremely low chance of town messing up that gamestate because the case was set in motion based on evidence that cannot be taken back

and my point is that we can't assume any given players are good enough to actually take full advantage of said evidence

like unless you're getting to the absolute highest levels of play in any game, people always have a chance to blunder
