Would it be possible to include text in the form "With X alive, it takes Y to eliminate" in the vote count? Not a huge problem if it's not feasible/easy. My vote count format is idiosyncratic, and I'll need to add a fair bit of additional text anyway.
Amid the pressure of great events, a general principle gives no help.
