THE FLOW OF TIME IN THIS GAME IS DETERMINED BY STRATUM. THERE WILL BE MULTIPLE STRATUMS THROUGHOUT THE GAME. THIS GAME HAS A N0 WHICH WILL BE STRATUM 0. FOLLOWING THAT, THE FIRST DAY WILL BE STRATUM 1. NIGHT WHICH WILL BE STRATUM 2. SECOND DAY STRATUM 3. SO ON AND SO FORTH UNTIL THE GAME REACHES CONCLUSION.

THIS GAME USES AN HP SYSTEM FOR RESOLVING ACTIONS. EACH PLAYER WILL HAVE A BASE ATK WHICH WILL VARY DEPENDING ON WHAT CLASS YOU ARE. IF A PLAYER REACHES 0 HP BY AN ACTION, THEY WILL BE CONSIDERED MORTALLY WOUNDED. IN THIS STATE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO POST, VOTE, OR DO ANYTHING. YOU ARE BASICALLY DEAD UNTIL I CAN POST YOUR FLIP. HOWEVER, ELIMINATING SOMEONE BY VOTE WILL ALWAYS INFLICT MORTAL DAMAGE, MEANING IT WILL NEGATE ALL OF YOUR REMAINING HP NO MATTER WHAT; THE MAFIA WILL HAVE A TRADITIONAL NIGHT KILL WHICH ALSO WILL INFLICT MORTAL DAMAGE, BUT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTACK AND INFLICT MORTAL DAMAGE AT THE SAME TIME.

FOR EACH NIGHT STRATUM YOU SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE (MEANING, YOU ARE ALIVE BY THE TIME IT HAS ENDED) YOU WILL RECEIVE A SKILL POINT. SKILL POINTS ARE A FORM OF CURRENCY THAT YOU USE IN ORDER TO USE ABILITIES. EVERYONE WILL START WITH 2 SKILL POINTS, AND INNATE ABILITIES WHICH DO NOT COST SKILL POINTS. YOU CAN ONLY USE MULTIPLE SP ABILITIES IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH SKILL POINTS TO DO SO. YOU MAY ONLY USE ONE INNATE ABILITY PER STRATUM. ASSUME ALL ABILITIES ARE TO BE USED AT NIGHT UNLESS SPECIFIED. FURTHERMORE, ASSUME ALL ABILITIES ARE NON-CONSECUTIVE, MEANING YOU CANNOT TARGET THE SAME PERSON TWICE WITH AN ABILITY UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE.

Spoiler: General play advice
Use your skill points wisely. They are non-refundable. Skill points are both a transaction and the cost needed to use your abilities. You may choose to
idle
which will mean you will take no action, but will still gain a skill point.
Pay attention to what information is being claimed and results. Think about if someone is either claiming (or has claimed) to use an ability that would be considered beneficial to you or your alignment.
Have fun. This is a more active game of Mafia with it's innerworkings, which will ensure everyone will have something to do over the night. Your actions matter as does your voice!
If you don't understand something,
ask.
I am not infallible, and my goal of this game is to create something unique and enjoyable at the same time. Not endlessly frustrate you.

I will try my best to accommodate you and answer any questions you have.
That includes to everyone signed up here, a lot of actions will be resolved through discord, so you'll have a direct line to ask for clarification on actions.
