I read Sam's stubbornness in sticking with their scumread on me without any additional reasoning (which would be very easy to make up as scum) despite ongoing pressure regarding this, to be town.

This reasoning leaves much to be desired.

I agree that Sam would have surely nuked me by now if they could have, but I feel like that would have happened regardless of their alignment.

What do you think is left to be desired?

As sam themselves would testify, acting stubborn and "sticking to your guns" is both scummy and American.
I've confused myself.
Point being is plenty of people know that being a block head can be confused with conviction or personal beliefs.

No. Not really more than I already have. Multiple players have taken a vaguely conciliatory approach. I can't ell which ones are town and which aren't.

Actually, my main scum read of this day is the guy I'm voting RN.

I know I was tinfoiling joqiza the other day but I actually think his response to being accused looks pretty good. To some extent even if his reads haven't been clearing he DOES feel very solvey. I think I'd be okay with him in a final group.

The reason I'm going through all this crazy tinfoil is because I have the sense I could die before endgame and I don't want people to necessarily be locked into static reads with no chance for re-evaluation. I want to consider the reasons for everybody right now.

There's an argument that in this setup you want enough towncred to make it to the final group, and if you're someone who can't fake reads well as scum, bussing is the easy way to produce some kind of content because you can give an accurate scumread. It's possible that the aggressive confidence was never meant to get him killed either. Plus VFP speaks to him all of once.

I dunno, I'm not saying to kill him right away but I don't feel comfortable townlocking him.

This is optimal play, not my pathetically bad scum play.
You don't have to lock town me, just don't nuke me when everyone that knows me says you're wrong and we're fine.
I honestly even doubt I survive the night anyway, so you're worrying over nothing.

Well, maybe not. I have been largely a do nothing this game, in a sort of, I am not a do nothing if you pay attention though I have made some bad calls.

I would also argue I've been pushing too many people. But it seems kind of like a bad idea to explain all the ways I'm not scum this game.

Also, I object to the hard bussing characterization on Luca Blight. Multiple players called my bus reasons weak sauce and I was eliminated the next day phase,
sure I was the only one that gave concrete reasons but etc.

Also, I don't think that comparison makes senses because that was the first scum buddy, not the second. Putting my team behind after already being behind is not a good idea.

Also, some clear references you made about having experience with DV. But - I guess I was wrong. I have a very bad track record at alt hunting. I think the only player's I've ever identified as alts correctly was FlavorLeaf and Mena.
