It feels more forced than natural, like you've actively searched for a title to give to them.
Are you objecting to this on principle? Jtbc. I feel like I remember this coming up in the past.
To clarify my question is it because you think it's not a good title because it's forced or because titles shouldn't be selected in a certain way? Honest question if it's not clear I feel like it may not be.

I feel that it doesn't fit them because it feels more like it was decided in advance that they need a title instead of getting there naturally.

That doesn't really distinguish very clearly between the two cases I was trying to distinguish between. Is your issue specific to this title or is it the general concern you have about how titles are suggested?

And what would be natural for you, exactly.

After a certain point of contribution on the site, there comes a point at which your interactions with people will cause them to think of things for your title to be.

It's perfectly natural, as far as a title goes, and I don't know why, once again, you're being a curmudgeon.

What bothers me most is the pattern here, where there have been plenty of titles like this that have happened but only now, when a trans/NB person is getting a title, you're being curmudgeonly.

Which will be the second time you've done as such on the site in under a week.

I encourage you to do some self reflection as to what you are giving off, and why that is.

Thanks in advance,

Niamh

I don't think the title really fits them, more of trying to get them to fit the title.

It would be like if you gave NAJON a title like 123456789.

I think I've gleaned some elements of esurio's personality and this is a very on-the-nose-fit.

nth esurio

It's a fine title that seems to fit the username well, should they choose to accept it.

the title will fit on one line because the nsg's scummies-based title breaks to the second line after about 30 characters, and the ellipses version of this title is 29 characters.

I don't know for sure if this is a constant width font, but the 26 character version should fit for sure.

I would like to point out that Pie's explanation of the word corporeal misses that subtext that it's bodily as in having a physical form not specifically a human body, but imo that kind of adds to the fitting nature of the title as this is a forum and all of our presences are non physical in nature. I don't know about e's personality well enough to understand if the title fits them, but I would assume it does based on the people who have nth'd.

I honestly kinda like Pie’s other ideas better than the one they settled on, but this one isn’t bad either.

First of all, he is a wonderful user who appears like he genuinely wants to do everything for the community, and that is barely an exaggeration. He has done a wide variety of things over his membership on this forum, and he continues to do more.

They also started discussion of interesting normal roles, and what to replace Melo with, if anything.

They also put their observations of power roles, they sorted factions, and even made a thread about getting more newbie games to fire.

That is a wide variety of topics on its' own.

You're saying it is generic, but that doesn't mean that it's not a good fit for Cook.
Also, it isn't generic. Everyone tries everything at some point in their lives, but they usually stick to a small collection of things. Meanwhile, Cook's whole thing is being a tourist of everything, maybe taking a souvenier from the places they travel, but ultimately never staying in one place for too long.
