I have to say, I think the latter sounds more fun as a setup. Masons don't really *need* day talk. They real power of masons is that they know a townie's role, and a townie knows their role. Scum benefit from day talk a lot more. Having a neighborhood with people you can't trust and who can't trust you isn't super useful, but being able to catch a strongman (1 out of 3 scum) is useful, and if one of the other two scum happens to alter the nature of the neighborhood, that makes it interesting.

VFP gave excuses for not crumbing in 1070 and 1097. VFP was masons with T3 in a different game and they were caught early. (VFP thinks it was because of the crumbing, but I think it was because of the play.) So VFP didn't want to crumb because T3 knows their convention.

That said, although Jake crumbed Mason, I don't think he ever crumbed that VFP was the other one. Perhaps it was left open so either scum partner can claim depending on how the early game went.

I can't trust that a Loyal Doctor is the most likely explanation for DGB living through a vigilante shot, especially since 3 town-PTlikes with 2 of them being masons would be heavily unbalanced against (presumably) a Strongman, Encryptor, and Miscellaneous scum.

I think that the scumteam doesn't have a strongman, so Egix's secondary ability does nothing but confirm that no one is a strongman (weakens town power), and since VFP is an encryptor I would assume that the scumteam also has one, to frame VFP should they be neighborized.

I think that either DGB is Bulletproof (which could make sense as a way to falsely confirm them as town, or to simply waste the JOAT's bullet.) or that the scumteam has a roleblocker and roleblocked Roden on N2, probably for being the hardest softer of cop (specifically, the cop T3 claimed existed), so that they could potentially waste one of their shots. Instead Roden, a Vigilante that night, was roleblocked from shooting DGB.

Yes. They both did.

For the roleblocker to exist like you postulate for DGB scum, then Egix has to be lying.

So a DGB scumteam must include Egix

Scum could have a roleblocker and Egix could be telling the truth. As I've stated before, Egix's secondary ability might not actually do anything. He might just be a named Neighborizor. It's not like that is impossible, or even improbable given all of the claims so far.

VFP, did you ever crumb?

I kept posting that Jake is town as my crumb. But more as shutting down if I felt a push was there.
Last time I was Mason my crumb was seen day 1 by scum so I didn't want to do that.
