Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
Big shakeup this week with Nero and I both getting killed by Kilga and Sharon. Kilga has passed me in the playoff race (although Im a half game better in matchup based standings) and tightened up the race for Division 1. Sharon has taken over complete command of Division 2.
Interesting note, Kilga and I play each other this week as the last team in and first team out of the playoffs.

Can we get a decision on how entry into the playoffs is going to work? It’s starting to look like weekly win/loss vs categories is going to make a difference on who gets in.
Division 1 tightens up even more. And it's Joe who would be most hurt by categories if that's what we do. He'd be second in the division with the best record in the entire league. Kilga would have the final wild card either way
In Division 2, Sharon has control but I'm not far behind.

the slide is mostly my fault for being lazy and not playing the WW but damn dropping 3 in a row

Division 1 continues to tighten up. Joe is now 1.5 games better but trails Nero by 1 category. Kilga also closes the gap a little more this week. Division 2 looks to be all Sharon's for now.

So I sat DeSclafani under the assumption that we’re hopefully going to seed playoffs on week to week matchups and not categories (especially since I think that’s how they were previously seeded). Is this going to be the case?
Sure man though there seems to not be much of a difference between cat and one win but maybe one win is a lil more fair?

At least this fantasy week is two weeks long, so there'll still be another real-time week to make up for lost games. (Also my team is in total shambles right now.)
After 15 weeks, category standings keep Nero close in Division 1 at 4.5 games back (2.5 GB in head to head standings) and give him a comfortable lead over Kilga despite being just one game ahead H2h.
In Division 2, Sharon has a 9.5 category lead and only 0.5 games H2h. She's still benefiting from categories, but only slightly now.
In the Wild Card race, I pulled ahead in either format, but it's still close.
The top two teams face off this week. Sharon vs Joe. Nero has an opportunity to get back into the top two overall, maybe even taking the division lead back in category based standings as he faces Ninetails. I'll be looking to close the gap in Division 2 with my matchup vs Rhinox.

If we do H2H I'm only 1.5 games out of a playoff spot. I'm apparently on a five-week unbeaten streak, so there's definitely a chance if we do that. I'm out by 15.5 categories if we go that way, though, so I'd need a lot more help there.
