I think #120 showcases that Kazyan is fairly intelligently concerned about his image (whether town or scum) and how people are reading him. I don't think his jump to "oh no dann is going to get away with it" is necessarily a fully genuine reaction. and based off my (albeit sample size of 1) experience with him, he's a lot more strategically minded than I think his posts this game let on

Think about what Vaxkiller gains from sharing that information up-front instead of claiming, and you will understand why you need to treat that claim as scum.

"just bum rush posting and look for who feels the need to freeze and ponder what to do" is going to continue to be a breaking winstrat until people figure out a way around it. This exact same strat has broken a TON of themes in the past 3 years.

It's diabolically effective. Manatee had no chance at all when this is the metric, having to split posts across three threads. There was also that Iceland game in the Newbie queue, where Prism hyperposted into a completely unexpected scum victory.

Failing to hyperpost is also why I come across as scummy in most games, I think, because 'freeze and process my thoughts' is what I do by default--and that was amplified by having an important protective role, so I wanted to be careful. But...being careful is what makes you scummy!

Being more of a chatterbox on Day 1 worked in my one scumgame, but when I slowed down, Seeds and Skitter started to see through me.

Oh, a few more thoughts from me:

1) Vaxkiller was never actually in my scum pile. I just saw "I check as having a gun" and wondered why you would ever say that, since that's drawing a target on your back made of moon rocks. I figured that Vaxkiller was wolf-bulletproof (Wolfsbane), so I kept gently saying that the claim should be treated as scum in the hopes that a wolf would attack. In practice, the scum teams had bigger fires to put out. Later, I decided that the read didn't make sense, especially with a vigilante obviously running around.

2) This post gave me some kind of euphoria.
