I noticed that the site meta has changed over time.

It used to be that power roles were helpful to the town, and that claims helped solve the game. This is no longer true.

I just finished playing Sybil's Elegy which was a great example of the role distribution being designed to confuse at best, and F up at worse, the town. I have played others with similar anti-town mod shenanigans.

Here's the deal.

We should not claim, ever.

Treating the game as mountainous will increase our chances of winning.

What we should do (and I include vanilla townies) is to crumb our night choices somehow BEFORE the night. Vanilla townies must crumb fake targets.

When you're dead, and we know your role and alignment, we can go back and use the crumbs for the solve.

Solving games by way of RESULTS and CLAIMED ROLES will not work. It just doesn't work anymore.

It's because you have no progression on T3 and blindly say T3 is SvS with Roden. Why is Roden Scummy for making a legitimate point and T3 not Scummy for Naked voting for you? I feel you have it backwards and are reading the opposite of what should be read. Town DGB spends a lot of time being aggressive and scumreading people for non thought out reasons. Town!DGB sometimes townreads when prompted and it's usualy a blanket read without any specific reasoning. I have yet to find ascum!DGB game but this has been true of DGB in Townstumps, Mini Normal 2196, Large Normal 233 and Large Normal 232.

So, yes.. I have Town LEANS on all 3 of you, but I suspect I might be wrong on one still. I could have stated there's "half a scum" between you three, meaning there could be 1 at max but could be 0. Then again, that would have complicated the phrasing much more because I would have had to include the extra half in my next 3 blocks and I suspect nobody would have understood what I'm saying anyway.

Sim basically if all of you/CT/Nero are TOWN, then there are probably 2 scums in each of the other 2 blocks. I can't see 3 lurking scums and one that's NOT hyperactive, and I can't see 3 mildly active scums with the 4th lurking and they're not trying to soft bus them at the very least.

Because DotW has zero non-associatives. But beyond Mega's high number on non-associatives with Nero, which indicates it's either TvT or TvS, I could see Mega as Scum here (according to my system).

The first list is just people to look at today and see what kind of content they give us today. It does not guarantee they are Scum, just lightly points in that direction. I feel like Arc is the worst out of this list based on play which is why I am voting there currently.

Not particularly relevant but I've seen town T3 just ignore points against them if they think they lack substance, so them lurking through it wouldn't lock them as scum for me.
