GG blue team. I've been staring at France for duck à l'orange for ages.

sorry team it was almost an amazing comeback

clues:
duck 5 - eagle (a bird), france (I thought duck was well known as part of French cooking), ham (another thing you eat), stock (like chicken stock), bat (things that fly/things you duck). This clue was originally “chicken 4” which makes better sense with stock, but then I thought I could get france too by clueing duck instead of chicken. Duck also worked with bat better than chicken did.
thor 3 - you got these. superhero, bolt, jupiter.
cook unlimited - I had clued everything except time (“cook time”) at this point, but wanted to reclue the duck words as well because I don’t think you were getting to stock or ham from just duck. We needed 6 words to win though and it was fairly likely the other team would win in the next turn, so I had to make it an infinite clue if I wanted to give the team a chance to guess the rest of the words in one go.

Yeah, I really thought we were losing this. Had I done it over, I would have done invention 2, this way, we were guaranteed the win. Had blue not chosen “wake”, we might have lost because it was hard coming up with an easy recognizable word that fit all three. Problem is I didn’t make the connection with heart/energy and didn’t think about “invention” until the end.

It totally blew my mind how blue team went from from 3 - 9 in one single turn!

I would strongly suggest that everyone who plays this game, have their hand at being spymaster at least once. I think that really helped me for future games.

“Wake” was a tricky word, since “death” was the assassin word and I didn’t even know about those until I became spymaster.

I’m just so relieved, I really was afraid I blew it by not considering “heart”.

By clues left, do you mean how many guesses are left? For example, if the clue was HEAT 3 and the team had made 1 correct guess, you would show that they have 3 guesses left?

Sure. Also perhaps a lighter shade of blue would also be helpful because the dark blue is sometimes hard to distinguish in mafsilver.
