Official Rules:

• The game will be played to the rules listed here. The rest of these rules are additions and clarifications by me only. For this adaptation, the administrators are in play, but none of the optional rules are in play.
  
• Too lazy to read? Here's a quick video.

Other Stuff:

1. To join, simply post something along the lines of "/in for next" (or just "/in" if signups for the next game are in progress).
   
2. The cards and descriptions are in British English for consistency with the original game; however, I will generally post in American English. I will understand what you mean if you Americanize the spellings from what the game uses.
   
3. Please bold all actions. It helps me if you bold
   End turn
   when you are done with Phase 3, though if I notice you have no more legal moves I may presume you're done with it.
   
4. I will be responsible for all randomization as well as responsibilities for Phase 6—the players will not have to do this.
   
5. I will randomize the turn order for Phase 1 of Round 1, this also determines who comes after the player with the first turn token. Each player will have the number of the ambulance they took on the top of the board.
   
6. To indicate an unused specialist, I will place a meeple of their color after their description. An unused nurse is indicated by a white meeple in your Nurses' Station. Once a specialist or nurse is sent to a department, that meeple will be moved to the end of the department's description. If a blood bag is being used to temporarily change a die color, that die will be moved to the Critical Care Unit, Oncology, or the Pharmacy, whichever is the color it's being temporarily changed to.)
   
7. The first six departments in your hospital area (Critical Care Unit, Oncology, Pharmacy, Intensive Care, Imaging, and Clinic) are the starting hospital departments. They are not improvements and therefore cannot be discarded for a blood bag.
   
8. If you would like to know how many discharged patients are worth how many points without having to refer back to the rulebook, here is the table:

9. If you go 24 hours without an action, I will prod you. If you do not answer the prod within 24 hours or I have to prod you more than twice, you may be replaced. If you are prodded during Phase 3 and fail to respond to the prod, your turn for that phase automatically ends.

Specialist powers can only ever fire off once per turn, even if their trigger is met multiple times in the same turn.

(Similarly, my Urologist could not have healed a fifth or sixth patient when I assigned it to Renal Medicine, even if I'd had the extra patients.)

I think now is a good time to officially declare Game 1 over. This was a difficult game to mod, and a lot of the necessary bookkeeping was error-prone. As such, I am unlikely to mod a Game 2.
