Low-Tech Games

This forum is specifically for discussing non-Mafia games
(board, card, video, we're not picky)
.
Playing
such games should happen in the Mish Mash forum, of course.

Low-Tech Games

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Tue Aug 24, 2021 4:20 am

My birthday this year, in honor of my extremely successful Sailor Moon RPG campaign, will be having the theme "Games" and I want to include appropriate entertainment for the dinner/afterparty at a bar. To that end, I am seeking guidance as for what sorts of games might be recommended.

I am bringing A FEW board game/deckbuilding games but obviously there is a very small limit to the amount I can bring before it becomes too burdensome to cart around all night, so I am looking for suggestions for games that are low-tech: Interesting games done with a single deck of cards, games that have few to no items or only small items, that sort of thing.
Official Gimmick List:
INVENTOR OF UPICK!
LORD OF THE 11TH HOUR!
ASEXUAL!
KING SCAR APOLOGIST!
DREAMER OF THE NE0N DREAM (SUPP 2021 LAST PLACE WINNER)!

I have donned the

I've not played but heard good things about SKULL
you also don't need their fancy deck to play, can just use normal playing cards if you want.

I don't have a suggestion I just wanted to comment. =^-^=

Snake Oil just needs a way to generate random words (can use the actual snake oil deck but I've often played with Codenames cards).
A fake artist goes to newyork just needs multi-color pens and paper.
Telephone pictionary just needs pens and paper.
Taking a break from the site.

I like Biblios. You don't really need the dice; you could just keep track on a piece of paper.
