  • Primal Raids
    - Every day players may join the raid against the Primals. If joined by more than 8 players, only the first 8 players will join. To join the raid, please use vote tag followed by the word "Raid." (VOTE: Raid)To leave the raid, please use unvote tag followed by the word "Raid." (UNVOTE: Raid) If there are fewer than 8 players left and there is a primal alive they will automatically join the raid. If at least one member of the hostile factions are in the raid group, the said member will decide whether the raid succeeds or fail. There may or may not be a role that affects the raid. Upon a successful raid, participant will be given a bonus listed, while failing a raid will increase the Realm danger meter. Clearing a raid will decrease danger meter.

    - Eorzea is in great danger due to primal threats and Garlean invasion. The danger meter starts at 0 in the beginning of the game and may be increased up to stage 3, causing detrimental effects to the game.

    * Stage 2 - Hostile factions members gain Multitasking modifier

Then why did Bears have an X shot bp?

I wanted scum to have 1-shot of some sort that can be claimed.

The raid mechanic was pretty neat, but a narrow pool of raids (literally only three, repeating) and their consistent order (no randomness to them), not to mention having my role which allowed for auto-success of basically half the raids in the game via the stacking bonus, all meant that raids felt a little under-developed as a mechanic. It could've been a lot more.

Narrow pool of three Primals was because the game was based on 2.0 content which only had those three Primals. And Ultima weapon was a scum role. I should’ve done the content up to at least 2.5 to give more primal choices but the patch quests kinda overlaps and foreshadows Heavensward (expansion) so I didn’t. If I did though, Moenbryda definitely would’ve been a scum fakeclaim for lulz.

Raid mechanic was kinda experimental. My personal regret is that I should’ve made it so that it’s not just first-come-first-serve. I wanted to emulate party finder in game so I did it like that but in retrospect it kinda sucked.
