Some more game analysis: I believe that the scum team was particularly weak this round. Getting left out as scum in pre-dance should be avoidable as long as you didn't roll 3 gentleman or something ridiculous like that, and none of the scum players were much influential in the day game. Staying quiet and looking okay is passable, but you're never going to make the endgame pair like that. The mafia wins of the previous iterations had strong dayplay from the scum players, with possible exception of the summer waltz where Luna Fox threw. I agree with Something_Smart that losing the original gentleman 1 was quite a blow.

I think that Rainbow Knight should maybe just pair up with a personal townread. If she is paired with the towniest warm, then won't it just be an efficient Night 2 kill for the scumteam? I guess I'm wondering what your thought process behind it is. I'm not super sure myself.

I don't want to rush it, but I'll confess Rainbow still has my eye if I had to choose now. Perhaps she simply sparkles the brightest. Perhaps it's meant to be. Perhaps I just want to be near the center of attention.

Although there is an argument to be made for this post as contributing to a scum agenda to nightkill Lady Rainbow, I do not think cultists would be likely to be so eager to lock in their nightkill decision. So I believe it is more likely to be an attempt to organize the town, misguided though it may be.

Beige: Lean town. I remember liking them. I am not certain this is due to their alignment as opposed to their personality.
Burgundy: Neutral. I think I could benefit from reviewing them. They have made me feel both good and bad at times.
Crimson: Lean town. To answer whoever asked me about this, I simply feel that their solving at the time they were making larger posts looked genuine.
Marigold: I do not remember anything this slot has posted.
Rose: I had a town ping from them at some point. I would need to review in order to find it.

I also feel like commenting on Chartreuse. Although they read as superficially grumpy to me and they've picked a couple fights,, I think that their general disinterest in winning friends during the friend-winning phase is likely to be a town trait.

If these seem uninspired, I blame the similar avatars, but I am also feeling generally slow to trust this game.

I was not expecting this game to result in fanfic or poetry, whichever this qualifies as, but I am glad it did. Beautifully said, lady knight.

Well, the situation changes at least. I still lean on 1ndigo's behavior being scum-indicative but I'd like to hear from the replacement in the event they aren't.

I'm less sure of this than most seem to be. Now that Magenta has pointed out 398 as a scummy post, I believe I do see in that one some scum-indicative patterns. But I'm not that keen on dismissing Indigo out of hand or insisting they need to be elimed eventually simply for being absent at the outset.

I don't have a satisfying answer to that right now, my early townread just feels stale and I can't remember why I gave it. Hence the need to reread and firm up. Like I've said, everyone kind of feels town so I'm thinking about degree.

That’s not how any of that works. I think you’re trying to use percentages to buddy me up but in that scenario you elim Lavender, unless you believe 2-1-0 is more likely. The scenario you presented only works if you believe that. However you seem way too tunnelvisiony. Let’s say you’re right Beige is scum: I flip town. Then there is a minimum one other scum team. (In that world I know there is two). This is why you always elim your number one pick for scum regardless of the alignment of the other player. If you just rip off the bandaid and assume you will end up elimming the partner town it goes better.

the seafoam kill really is throwing me for a loop because Daffodil said he suspected seafoam and now seafoam is dead so I don't know if he would kill his own suspect just to make me townread him.

I don't really understand his motivation if its to float a suspect, get me to sort of agree and then nightkill the suspect just to put my head on a spinner. I am moderately worried at this point.

Can confirm that Rainbow simply thought of Seafoam as "Daff's suspect".

If Daff is scum they also might not have known how many people shared that read, although I'd be a little more surprised at that.

As for Rose....

Eh Rose doesn't really give a read on Seafoam aside from the early game when they said "ok-ish". They were considering pairing with Seafoam or Indigo primarily so they definite had them as higher town than Magenta.
