The only reason I see is to get away with picking a strong role for endgame, as scum. Sure, not that likely, but town discarding a supreme cop in favour of Doublevoter? Doesn't happen.

@House, When I looked at the role in the thread it would have stopped the first day action each day. I didn't think there would be that many day actions.

You DID read every single role in its entirety, right? In the actual deck?

Tried to find them, yeah. There were some I couldn't find at all, like Lost Mafia was in my A Game deck.

I was kind of hoping the day of was real. Not necessarily because I think Azumarill is scum (null actually), but because I was thinking this game might be Day action heavy and wanted to see how many people died before the Day 1 Elim lol.
