I'm a sucker for the classics but my actual favorite might be Much Ado About Nothing.

I think that regardless of alignment, Cephrir is not feeling very engaged with the game. If he was feeling more into it, I have no doubt that he would be more

whether town or scum, so it's not an "activity" or "engagement" read, exactly. It's not the easiest to explain, but Cephrir's play just aligns with what I would expect from disengaged scum trying to look like they're doing stuff, rather than disengaged town who are trying to make sense of the game. Ceph's posts are responses to specific things, picking up on specific points that people are making and commenting on them, but I just don't get from his posts the sense of a depth of thought behind all that. All of his posts are things that informed scum could easily say, easily fake. There's no specific post from Ceph, or specific thing, just an impression from his overall play.

I'm Oberon's Flower. I make people fall in love. 'Twas I who loverized Galron and Icebox. I had a good scumread on Galron and I was nullish at best on Icebox after d1 (townier since then!). Several of you expressed that loverizing seemed like a scum ability; maybe it usually is (this is my first game with the mechanic), but this time it isn't. I had an ability and didn't want to die with it in my pocket. I do not know why they subsequently fell out of love, but something must have happened to nullify it because my ability was still "spent".

I can loverize again if the opportunity arises for me to repurchase the ability, but it hasn't come up yet, so I'm a vanilla townie right now. As such I do make sense as an elimination target, as until something unforeseen happens, I can't add any intel or affect the game in any meaningful way. I can think of one pair I'm curious to loverize if given the chance, but who knows if that'll happen or if you will let me live that long.

Dunn has been rather quiet today and feels lurky for me generally. I tend to scumlean that behavior but a few people have said it points to town!Dunn. I don't have a good frame of reference there so I'll stick with a scumlean there... Although I'm skeptical of that read given Dunn was the counter wagon to galron yesterday.

Ceph and Titus I'm having a harder time with and I am trying to sort out whether and how much they're staying low in my reads for OMGUS reasons. I got a little tilted with Wisdom the other day and their votes with me were part of that.

I did get irritated with wisdom the other day when he was being rather single-minded in his pursuit of me, but hey, it all comes out in the wash, and he's even not voting me now.

I recognize as much as anybody how my loverizing doesn't look great, but, well, I can't change it now, and it worked out ok? I do wish I'd been a little more patient before firing it off as there is at least one pairing that might have yielded interesting results, but meh. We've bagged two scum and I'm pleased I picked one of them on n1, even if I didn't play it super cleverly.

This is why I asked CoF whether they were still dying tonight. If the slot is doomed to die n3 there's just ... very little sense in digging in there very much at all, one way or another.

Also that slot has said very little which just ... I mean I'd wait for the flip but just kinda seems towny, I guess? I dunno. There's not much to read either way.

Yeah, everyone keeps saying they will wait until tomorrow to see what happens. The paranoid part of me doesn't believe the claim and we will see something awful happen.

Just another thought, doesn't this role seem kinda broken if there isn't a way to save herself? She says she can buy a potion but doesn't know what it will do.

There's a bit that bothers me about the slot.

There was speculation from some (including me!) that there *must* be a way to subvert the death sentence baked into the roles somewhere, but given we've heard nothing ...?

I'm also skeptical that CoF will be dead in the morning and, well, given we've seen nothing to suggest they *should* survive, it's either scummy if they're alive (they lied) or a scummy ploy to keep them alive (scum could somehow have the "cure", and use it without claiming, to make it look like CoF lied)

But this is all conjecture and given the slot hasn't been much of a presence in the game it really does seem like all we can do is wait on that front. Frustrating.

Anyway, I guess if I'm CoF and I'm dying tonight I'm buying that potion regardless. Smoke 'em if you got 'em

Also before Bell calls me out for it, I am not a fan of Titus's EoD behavior. Posting from memory from the neighborhood post, the bulk of her recent ISO is dedicated to scumreading me and trying to get people to switch their votes to me. Especially the hard insistence that my loverization was scummy.

Then, when DV went to e-1 Titus voted there to hammer pretty quickly, even though there was time on the clock. Time was short, yes, but it felt abrupt to me.

And now we're back on the lim me train.

I'm not insisting it's scummy necessarily, as I generally don't think scum tunneling like that is likely. But it's not a great look from where I sit.

I would request a more clear description of your role. Were these all actions that were given to you at the start of the game? How were they phrased? Did you know what was going to happen when you used these abilities or was it somewhat randomly based (like the boxes thing)?

I'm just having trouble processing the ridiculous amount of *things* assigned to you and your claim is literally a couple of sentences of "oh yeah, that thing that happened, that was me"
