there's a kind of mindset peculiarity here now that i'm thinking about it more.
darby is in a hurry to push out of rvs (which is like, great) but i feel like dwlee is probably the most vocally solve-ey person itt atm. i think there's reasons to press against dwlee so far but they're also reasonably well townread so pushing back against this seems like it's against the grain.

despite all of this darby doesn't:
- actually seem interested in playing a post-rvs game; just in having an early serious vote;
- appear to present any urgency in pushing dwlee against others' townreads on them.

To expand on this: I think I pushed Noraa until death in squid game on the fact that they asked a question about something that was in the town role pm. I've pushed people on "Idk I think you're scum" or "I looked at this ISO and got a vibe" or even more simple things. And that's later in the game. I've operated under the assumption that SS's claim/action was after my 928 but that wasn't the case. The timing of it feels weird for scum to take because scum should have waited until I claimed action in 964 (forgot to add that). I'd rather believe that's town vs what I was tr IV for with going against Dwlee so hard in 995. I remember there being something I didn't like about iv/dwlee scum solve but I forgot what it was.

Soft scum solve is IV/Dwlee. I'm reading thru more now before I do more holiday irl stuff.

I claimed a guilty on my partner and then the next day said it was a fake guilty that I did to push the lim through and that there wasn't actually a guilty

Don’t forget you also used your fake claim to “draw a scum nk” from me when I claimed the 2 shot Neapolitan on d3. I bring that up specifically because they used that to get a wide townread from the alive players (I think only me and one other play scum read them in the dead chat). I specifically remember a player saying if Dwlee was scum that they played a great scum game with how elaborate they played. (Tbf, that was a great game and you deserved the win, but still).

And I can do a quick meta dive tonight or tomorrow when time allows, but a lot of Dwlees argument draining a sound familiar to their end game in that game too. A lot of “why would I do this when that would be easier?” It’s not a one to one correlation, but I’m not really trusting of their arguments today.

There is at minimum one scum between {Dwlee, SS}. I am trying to figure out which side of the coin should be flipped, and I think I have it and would like more energy to be placed there.

And it’s so funny. I can link this game but I was at (what was thought to be) Elo where I was the 2 shot back up detective. When I claimed, I got similar reactions from both LQ and NM. There was a whole argument with why my claim specifically couldn’t be real, yet lo and behold I was the role I claimed, and my push was right against actual scum (I’ll link next post but it was the Members of the Arsonist game).

Yeah so the last completed game I had w Dwlee was the scum game mentioned. Because of how soon the game ended compared to the start of this one, I was more vigilant against Dwlee because I didn’t want to lose to scum!them twice in a row.

I did it also with Koba in the arsonist game I mentioned previously as well who was scum partners with Dwlee.

while i always appreciate critique of any aspect of my modding, i'm especially interested in feedback on the setup. i like this concept and i'd ideally want to try to run a 13p variant of it, but i would first want to know if it's playable and/or fun, preferably from both factions.

The set up was fun but as town I was not a fan of the game being basically a 2 day state.
