I don't see why it's not beneficial to have an argument early. Usually, it tells a lot about someone's alignment and who they are with (except when people have faked like with Roden faking an argument with his scum partner), what they're thinking, and so on with the only downside I've heard from other players is that it gives scum a stepping stone to play around.

If you had something you want to look out for due to meta, fine. But blasting it loudly like this is just giving a warning to scum!Save The Dragons. Re Salsa: no, my vote on StrangeMatter wasn't RVS. I feel like I explained it way too many times by now, but their first two posts gave a *huge* vibe of wanting to look like they're sorting while doing things that hinder that sorting. (Like giving a warning who they're keeping an eye out on.)

In other news, I have potentially bad reasons to think ADSE is town. The way they spew takes without any explanation or fluff added seems like they don't care too much about their image (otherwise they would've fabricated some thought process with them), which in my experience more often comes from town. This is potentially bad because this tell isn't that useful with experienced players, and they said they're an alt, so.

Also, I got some townie pings from Save The Dragons. Mostly the fact that, when I first read, I also thought Greeting's tone there is bad, and something something mindmeld. By this point, I'm not sure I still think his tone is scummy there, but Save The Dragons can stay above the null line for now.

Anyone else getting the feeling that Galron is trying to ask all the right questions and seems to be solving, but his heart just isn't in it?

What is everyone’s experience with the player pool? You don’t need to be super detailed, but have you played with these people?

I’m asking because there is a lot of talk going on about specific games and meta, and how this one played this role and whatnot, and it makes it very hard to read as someone that has no basis with anyone. I mean, I may have played with someone on here, but If I remember correctly, many people have a ridiculous amount of alts, maybe that’s changed.Like for example, I’m 98% sure

It’s just really hard to follow a game when things that I have no intent on researching are constantly referenced. So I feel knowing everybody’s link will help.

I am most familiar with Almost50 and Galron. No, I do not feel pinged by them at this moment.

Dragons, RH9 and NM are players I have encountered before. I cannot expand on my experience with RH9 due to site rules. I do not pretend to know how to read NM. It has been awhile since I have played with Dragons.

ADSE has implied that they've played with my main, Taly, but I do not know their identity.

Everybody else is new or at least fresh enough for me to consider them as new.

The progression reads as fabricated because the first post is to base one quote off of. Furthermore, there's no rationale for what actually is abrasive and how that contains town-motivation, so it's filler.

There's no context between that and them actually voting you, and from what the following rationale is, it's based on your interaction with

player... but why can't Galron/Greeting be scum theatre? Pocketing isn't solely a scum tactic, so why can't it be town?

It reads like a TMI or protection of either you or Greeting.

The generalized gamestate take is in a game as sluggish as this one there's probably a handful of scum in the low-content slots but sorting them is impossible unless they actually start contributing it's more or less a crapshoot. There are situations where it can be active scum while town is apathetic and lurks it out, but it feels like there's a little too much discord between the active players for that to be the case.

Which one of the more inactive players do you think can be scum?
And how far have you read? I don't expect you to have read everything because you said that you skimmed. But then, who doesn't skim? I remembered that the first time that I replaced in, I skimmed and ended up with reads which are definitely one of my best. Thus, I'll take your reads as though it is 100% correct.

I can't confidently if a bus is happening or not on Day 1. With zero flips, pushing people doesn't mean much to me, especially since I could be wrong about my reads. Even if you were bussing and we flip scum today, it is never my first thought to eliminate whoever orchestrated a scum wagon anyway. Unless we find some damning evidence of course.

I feel like asking me if you're bussing or not is a weird way to get me to read you but I kind of get the logic behind it. What's your scum history with bussing?
