To clarify, when I say "worth pushing" I just mean something concrete and not "I hate anime avatars" or whatever. It's also why I don't usually like to make the first RVS vote

I think we should all make public fighters so that we can make informed choices on who is being killed.

The problem here is that the eliminated player gets to impose a restriction. If we hit scum, which hopefully we will, the restriction would then likely be "No using pre-announced fighters." Also, as Pooky said, it's more fun if it's spontaneous and a mystery

I believe we can convert the scum into not fighting us but reforming their ways.
We can do this by accepting them for their lying nature and try to get them to change their ways with positive reinforcement and encouragement.

To actually put something into words, that is actually my main issue. I think Flea has posted with that correlation in mind and specifically gone out of faer way to appear active although with minimal content, hence the fixation with being top poster etc

I don't see how this is related in any way to dropkicking NK15 into a new timezone

They could potentially show up and be even scummier. Or they could catch the townslip NK15 made but we all missed. Also they could wind up getting murdered (or in this case nominated to fight) without getting to post even once, which isn't fun for anyone.

This does change quite a bit, particularly nice to know that scum will be forced to participate in the fight eventually. It also means Dwlee's no-fun plan is mechanically correct, since scum can't restrict it, and any attempts at impersonation get revealed after the fight. Which puts me in a weird spot because playing to my win condition would involve doing that, but also I don't want to because it's not fun.

Thing is, I'm not actually convinced fae's scum yet. I thought I was after the flip, but upon reflection it seems odd to me that NK15 would want to get himself entangled with his buddy so soon. It could have been a kneejerk reaction borne from panic... but I don't really think the pressure was there to warrant that? jjh projected certainty, but was only one player, and hadn't yet presented any kind of actual argument. It seems more likely that it was a botched pocket attempt, with NK knowing Flea was Town and thinking defending fae would make him look better to Flea and those who townread fae.

Bussing means calling your buddies scum to get towncred for catching scum. Both parties must be scum, and while voting is normally involved, it isn't always.

See, I considered that as well, but I don't think it's the case here.

It could be a very good strategy to bus D1, and win a fight N1, generating immense towncred and coasting off that... But only if you're SURE you can win the fight, as failure means going into D2 with two scum and no town dead.

Batman with prep time is a choice worthy of such confidence... But Pooky is a questionable choice of opponent. Pooky is very whimsical and I think creative enough to have come up with something to properly oppose Batman... If he had indeed submitted a choice.

I would expect scum to put their own against someone less likely to make a strong choice. We're it me, I would have picked a low-effort slot, or maybe N_M with an expectation of Miltank, but probably Not Pooky.
