Welcome to The Weakest Link 3!

~A Malkon & D3f3nd3r Production~

This is a non-anonymous game that tests which of you Mish Mashonians is in fact the person who can survive up against the best of the best. This game is about 70% challenge ability and 30% social ability. It will test your ability to outlast and outplay more than you ever have before. This game will occur on MafiaScum forums unlike the first two seasons which were run live. In addition we will also have a Discord channel open to all players in game, so
if you don’t have a Discord you NEED to have one for this.
Be sure to add Malkon#9019 and Doublution#6481 as a friend when you sign up for this and have a Discord so we can be sure to add you to the proper channels when the time comes! In addition, you are welcome to add our fabulous listmod as a friend (in general but specifically for this game too!), xofelf#1697.

The game is set to begin at noon EST on Saturday, January 15th, with the first challenge being posted at 6pm EST. Signups will close at 9pm EST on Wednesday, January 12th.

The game:

|01| Each round there will be a challenge with rules which will be explained in detail. Usually a sample round or two will be provided if the rules don’t make sense. If that doesn’t help, you can always ask a mod more questions <3 After that, you duke it out.

|02| The challenge will be posted publicly and results posted publicly approximately 24 hours after the challenge begins (unless otherwise stated by the moderators). Then, the remaining players in game will have 24 hours to vote in their confessional between the two players, that perform the worst in the challenge, to decide who to eliminate. The person with the most votes is eliminated. Challenge and voting deadlines will occur at 9pm EST on the day in question unless otherwise stated.

|03| If at any point a player ends up in possession of a Golden Link, they are allowed to play it at any point in the game until the final 5. This can be played on themselves or someone else who is on the block. The person it is played on is removed from the block and will be replaced by the person who scored the next worst in the previous challenge. If this occurs, an additional 24 hours will be added to the clock at the deadline. However, if the person who plays the link wishes, they can opt in their confessional to “Permanently Lock” their choice in which case the announcement of a link will be played early, though 24 hours will still be added to the clock at that time. This will be added to the original deadline was set to end. (EG if we say deadline 9pm EST Tuesday, the new deadline would be 9pm EST Wednesday).

|04| Then rinse, wash, repeat until we are down to only two players left in the game. At this time, the power shifts to the jury, comprised of a number of individuals eliminated at a certain point, to determine the strongest link of the two players remaining. The moderators will inform the players when this happens. The person with the most votes from the jury wins!

|05| Each challenge unless otherwise stated will have a 1 hour max out time, though you most likely will not need the full hour in most cases. In addition, unless otherwise specified, they will not allow for outside resources.

|06| In the event a vote ends up in a tie, a tiebreaker will be run which will be a shorter/modified version of the challenge that was run that round. The player who performs worst will be eliminated.

Rules:

|01| Have Fun!

|02| Please be nice!

|03| Play to win! Otherwise, what’s the point? <3

|04| Respect the decision of the mods. There may be a judgement call on a challenge or two that is needed and the mods will have the final say. If you feel an incorrect decision has been made, you are welcome to ask for a review and we will review it. But once a final decision has been rendered after review, it will be final.

|05| You may not take screenshots of conversations, except to send to a mod.

|06| You are allowed private conversations! Isn’t that nice of us to allow? :D

|07| You breaky the rules we breaky your arms. Be sensible. If you aren’t sure if something would breaky the rules, we won’t breaky your arms for asking about it. Just if you do it >:(

|08| Unless otherwise specified, please do not discuss challenges with anyone until after results are up.

|09| This game cannot facilitate hydras and there will be none.

|10| Anyone who fails to vote by a deadline as stated by the moderators will be announced as having not voted and the vote will proceed. Only votes cast will count. Multiple offenses of not voting could result in consequences as decided at the moderators discretion. The point of playing this game is to vote when you can vote and actively not voting goes against the spirit of this game. Please vote :)

Sign up info:

To sign up, you will select this link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIp ... sp=sf_link. This will be a very basic application process. You will put your username, whether you have any special circumstances we need to take into consideration for challenges, whether or not there is anyone you’d prefer not to play with so we can take this into consideration when casting and whether or not you’d be okay with being a replacement.

Casting will happen ideally on a first come, first serve basis. This means that if you sign up first, you will play! That’s exciting! From there, so long as we don’t anticipate any conflicts with the previous cast, those who sign up next should be cast.

Ideally we are looking for 16 people, but will run with a minimum of 12. If we get more than 16, we will let you know whether or not we can facilitate that at that time.

We will start sending messages to contestants after the first week of sign ups to let them know what their status currently is, but we will not announce who is playing until the game starts. If you are a replacement, we will wait until the end of the 2nd round before moving you to the spectator lounge if you wish to spectate.

The number of players we have when the game starts will determine which challenges are included and which will or won’t be played.

If signups are still going on and you decide you don’t want to play, just send a PM to both mods. If you change your mind again, you will need to re-apply. We cannot guarantee you will be cast again if the cast is full.

We hope to see a good chunk of you here for the Mish Mash official inaugural forum based/long term season of...THE WEAKEST LINK!

CHALLENGE ONE

There will be a game you will be playing today. You have 45 minutes to get the best possible score you can. Because we are feeling spicy, this is a mystery game. We recommend having a computer & internet browser that can handle games similar to flash games.

1. To start the challenge you will click “starting” in the google doc which will start your timer. When you feel you have gotten the best score you can, you will take a screenshot and upload it to an image hosting site of some sort with a tab of the MafiaScum.net website in the background. Then you will resubmit the google doc for “finishing” in order to submit the link to your screenshot.

2. You will have 45 minutes to submit the link of your screenshot. Any links submitted after 45 minutes will not count.

3. You will have until Sunday, January 16th at 9pm EST/6pm PST to complete this challenge.

4. We HIGHLY recommend you use a computer to do this challenge.

5. The two players to submit the lowest scores will be on the block for elimination, if there is a tie, we will look at submission time for the tiebreaker. We are allowing multiple submissions, but will only take the latest submitted one as your final.

When you are ready to begin, you will click this link.

We will do our best to be able to answer questions but cannot guarantee we will be around when you start this challenge, so be sure to get all of your questions answered before you begin :)

Hello everyone,

When reviewing scores, we normally look at "Final" in order to determine the score that was submitted so that it's accurate and there's no doubt this was done in this session. However, this challenge did not have a rule to specify this and a user submitted a score that was technically higher than what was posted for them.
As a result, Ethel, who scored 25,996 is now safe, and Aronis who scored 20,292 is now on the block.
This was unusual and we apologize to anyone this affects. 24 hours is being added to the deadline, the new deadline is
Tuesday January 18th at 9pm EST/6pm PST.

Hello everyone,

Aronis has decided to play a Golden Link on himself. This is valid. As such the new nominations are Ethel and Noraa.
Since we already extended 24 hours for mod rule error and there's more than 24 hours in the round still we will be making the executive decision to leave the final vote deadline as is. That is all, continue.

Round 3 Challenge

In this challenge we will be playing Majority Rules with a fun twist! Your goal is to try to respond to a series of questions the way you believe the majority of the group would respond. Unlike regular majority rules, if you are in the majority, congrats in theory you are safe! You will have two or three choices each round.

The goal is to guess what you believe the MAJORITY of people would guess, not what you personally would pick (unless you think you are of the personal opinion of the majority).

1. At some point in the next 24 hours, please fill out this link. You will select “Starting” to start your time and “Finishing” to submit your guesses. There are 25 prompts, but it shouldn’t take you more than 20-30 minutes to fill out, if that. (probably less).

2. Once you’ve submitted, you are done! Congrats! Just be sure to fill this out before the 24 hours are up or you could be automatically nominated.

3. If at any point during results all players except for 1 guess the same answer, all players will continue to the next question and the 1 will be up for elimination.

4. If at any point there is an even split, all players will move onto the next question as there is no “majority”.

5. If at any point one person is already nominated and only two players remain, the player of the two that submitted the slowest will be the nominee.

6. Except for the above three rules, anyone who is in the majority in any round is safe! Only players in the minority will continue onto the next round until only 2 players remain or we have 2 nominees.

7. DO NOT DISCUSS THIS CHALLENGE WITH ANY OTHER PLAYER.

We will do our best to be able to answer questions but cannot guarantee we will be around when you start this challenge, so be sure to get all of your questions answered before you begin :] Best of luck players!

Your deadline is tomorrow at 9pm EST: (expired on 2022-01-21 21:00:00)

Hello everyone!

We have one rule to add to our current ruleset going forward.

This will be edited into the main ruleset momentarily.

Hello everyone!

It's time for some friggin results! Tonight you get to deal with me mwahahahahahaha.

Let's not dilly dally shall we?

Prompt 1 asked you to pick between Cake or Death

Let's see who said
Death
first:

No one!

Congrats you all are in the majority and are sa-

Oh wait right. Because no one got it wrong although you are safe, we have to put someone on the block, so you all are back up for Prompt 2!

Prompt 2 asked you to pick between Up or Down.

Let's see who picked
Up
:

Everyone!

Congrats you are all sa-

Oh right we just did this.

Onto Prompt 3 which asked you to pick between Right or Left.

Let's see who picked
Left.

Ariel picked Left
and....

no one else did :(

This means that Ariel is for sure on the block. But what about the rest of you?

"3. If at any point during results all players except for 1 guess the same answer, all players will continue to the next question and the 1 will be up for elimination."

This means that we still need someone to join Ariel on the block.

Prompt 4 asked you to choose between In or Out.

Let's see who picked
Out
.

bipolarchemist picked Out.

Silverclaw picked Out.

and
Ethel picked Out!

This means if you are not Ethel, Silverclaw or bipolarchemist (Or Ariel rip rip :( ), congrats you officially have survived being on the block this round.

Now we are looking for the next 2-1 majority between the final 3.

Prompt 5 asked you to choose between Bulbasaur, Charmander & Squirtle.

Let's see who picked
Squirtle
.

No one of the remaining three picked
Squirtle
.

Let's see who picked
Bulbasaur
.

No one!!!! This means
all three picked Charmander
and move onto the next prompt.

Prompt 6 asked you to pick between Chicken and Beef.

Let's see who picked
Chicken.

You all did!

Three still vying to avoid the block, all three have answered the exact way up until this point. Will Prompt 7 finally determine the 2nd person on the block?

For prompt 7 you had to pick between Chocolate and Vanilla.

Ethel chose...

Chocolate.

bipolarchemist chose...

Vanilla!

This is it folks.
Congrats to Silverclaw who is officially not on the block
as whichever choice he has decides the 2-1 majority this prompt. However, what did he pick and who else is safe?!

Silverclaw picked...

Chocolate!!!

This means
congrats to Ethel, you have also avoided the block.

Our final blockees are Ariel (who lost prompt 3) and bipolarchemist (who lost prompt 7).

Votes are due tomorrow at 9pm EST: (expired on 2022-01-22 21:00:00)

Round 4 Challenge

In this game of Scattergories, you will be given 20 categories, each with a letter. (I & L just to show how i and l will appear). Your job is to come up with a single 3+ letter word that starts with that letter that fits that category. For example, if you got “Food, R” you could put rice. You could also put raspberry. Either one is fine. However, "raspberry ice cream" wouldn't be okay because it's more than one word. However, if two people give the exact same answer for each category, no points will be earned by those who answered the exact same. You will want to do this as quickly as possible.

1. There are a total of 20 points that can be earned in this challenge. This assumes you get no duplicate answers.

2. You are allowed to use whatever outside resources you want! Aren’t we nice? :)

3. Although you are allowed to submit “Starting” as many times as you want, you may only submit “Finishing” once. Once you finish, your time will be locked. Your time will start from the first time you select “Starting” and hit submit.

4. You will have a 1 hour max out time. Any guesses submitted after 1 hour will not count. If there is a score tie in this challenge, the person who submitted slower will be put on the block. You’re incentivized to go as fast as possible for that reason!

5. You will have until tomorrow at 9pm, (expired on 2022-01-23 21:00:00) to complete this challenge.

6. Just so you know, being on the block might not necessarily be a bad thing in the near future ;)

When you are ready to begin, you will click this link.

We will do our best to be able to answer questions but cannot guarantee we will be around when you start this challenge, so be sure to get all of your questions answered before you begin :)
New rule being added:

7. Hyphenated words that are acceptable per any dictionary will count as a singular word for the purposes of this challenge.

Hello everyone! Results time <3

Let's just dive right into it because we spent a lot of time calculating this and researching all of your very colorful answers. D3f and I had to make a number of judgement calls based on what was an acceptable response and what wasn't. I don't really want to take a bunch of time explaining everything we didn't accept, so if you have questions, let me know. This was...an interesting experience to judge. We were pretty lenient this challenge. Just take that into consideration when reading these results. we were also pretty lax on spelling since that wasn't a stipulated rule.

In addition...

Both d3f and I verified the scores before posting so if something looks wrong, please let me know, it's likely a typo from me. Thank you for patience.

CHALLENGE(?) FIVE

Do you remember when we said “being on the block might not necessarily be a bad thing” in the last challenge? Well that comes into play now! The person who survived the block last time is now immune and will begin a chain vote. The next name they say publicly is safe. That person will then choose someone to be safe, and so on and so forth. When we get down to the final 4 players, one will have just been chosen to be safe and will choose one final person to be safe. The final two people not chosen will be the two nominations for the round.

1. Please don’t be a jerk for this challenge. Although there is no time limit on when names can be submitted, the idea is for this not to take forever and to keep within a 24 hour period. Please try to have some idea of what you are doing before you are chosen to be safe so that we aren’t here forever. If we start to find people are taking too long, we may interject and put a time limit on this, but we really don’t want to because of time zones. So until you are safe, please try to check regularly and make your decisions quickly.

2. Once you are safe and make your pick, there’s nothing else you specifically have to do for this challenge.

3. All choices will be made publicly,
bolded and in this forum thread
, so you don’t need to wait for a moderator and just post yourself. If you see someone else post “I choose [insert name here]” in bold, that can be assumed as a final submission and the person named can go without needing confirmation from the moderators.

4. We will do our best to update the list as we are around and able to do so, but if we aren’t around please keep track yourself. Nothing’s going to be worse than picking someone else who is already safe again and then things get awkward if your choices are outed and we go back and are like “soooooo that’s not a valid choice” because then we have to untangle your tangled web. Please pay attention.

5. If we find a mistake, we will back track the choices to the last correct submission.

Ethel When you are ready to make your first choice, go ahead and post in the thread publicly!

We will do our best to be able to answer questions but cannot guarantee we will be around for all of this challenge, so be sure to get all of your questions answered before you make your choice.

CHALLENGE SIX

This challenge is called Alphabet. You’ll be given fifteen questions, each with a set of letters. This will be the upper case alphabet in order but with some letters missing. Those letters you will need to unscramble in order to spell a word.

For example, if you were given BDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSUVWXYZ, the letters A, C, T are missing. Therefore if you submit “ACT” or “CAT” you would get a point, either is technically correct. Your submission must be a word according to the Merriam-Webster online dictionary, things that aren’t words will not count. Additionally, abbreviations like “CTA” are not acceptable. Most of the alphabets will have one answer, but some will have multiple.

1. You are allowed to use a dictionary, pen, paper & computer notepad while you are doing the challenge. All other resources including anagram solvers are strictly prohibited while doing the challenge, but they can be used before you start.

2. Your final score will be out of 15. The two players with the lowest scores will be up for elimination. If there is a tie, then the slowest person to get that score will be up for elimination. Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary will be used to verify whether or not a submission is really a word.

3. When you are ready you will submit “Starting”. If you accidentally click out of it, you can submit “starting” again. However, when you are ready to submit “finishing” you will only get one time to submit “finish” and whatever you submit will be final.

4. You will have a 1 hour max out time. Any guesses submitted after 1 hour will not count.

5. You will have until tomorrow at 9pm EST, in (expired on 2022-01-27 21:00:00) to complete this challenge.

6. You may discuss the challenge with other players prior to starting, but once you have started the challenge you are prohibited from discussing it until after results are announced.

When you are ready to begin, you will click this link.

We will do our best to be able to answer questions but cannot guarantee we will be around when you start this challenge, so be sure to get all of your questions answered before you begin :)

STD gave us "PEEPEE". Hmmm I'm detecting a theme here.
Ethel was unable to solve this and gave us "no idea". I BELIEVE!!!!!
Vash gave us "rustichop" which is fun! But alas not a real word.
Meme gave us "Chop it, Rus!" which is 3 words.
GB gave us "Ostrich" which is a word, but once again missing letters :( rip rip rip :(

Current Scores:

kdowns, mist, shadow-12
Ariel, Xalxe-11
STD, Ethel-10
Vash-9
GB, Meme-8

Alphabet 13's solution was...

Imbue!

Spoiler: who got it?
Everyone!

Current Scores:
kdowns, mist, shadow-13
Ariel, Xalxe-12
STD, Ethel-11
Vash-10
GB, Meme-9

Alphabet 14's solution was...

Lucky! Man I hope I'm lucky and my computer doesn't crap out on me again.

Spoiler: who got it?
Everyone except for Ethel.

Ethel gave us "luck" who needs that stupid y anyways?!?!?!

Current Scores:

kdowns, mist, shadow-14
Ariel, Xalxe-13
STD-12
Vash, Ethel-11
GB, Meme-10

And it all comes down to this! 6 people are safe, and 4 people COULD be on the block!

Alphabet 15's solution was...

Quintal! A weird word, but a word nonetheless!

Spoiler: who got it?
Everyone except Ethel & GB

Ethel gave us "Quality" and while it's true she is a quality person, there's no y in this word :( rip rip :(
GB gave us "Quail" which is a word, but again missing a few letters :( rip rip rip :(

Final Scores:
kdowns, mist, shadow-15
Ariel, Xalxe-14
STD, Vash-12
Ethel, Meme-11
GB-10

Which means GeorgeBailey is the first person on the block this round :( rip rip rip :(

Spoiler: and that means
With a score of 11, Ethel and Meme you are in danger of being on the block and this comes down to time.

Ethel finished in...

34 minutes and 14 seconds...

Meme finished in...

52 minutes and 54 seconds.

And that means that
GeorgeBailey and CaptainMeme
are on the block this round. You have until tomorrow at 9pm EST/6pm PST to get your votes in! GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO!

CHALLENGE SEVEN

This challenge is really simple, but we aren’t going to announce what it is ahead of time so that it’s harder to cheat. We recommend using a computer to complete the challenge and only a standard keyboard will be required to complete it. It is also recommended to have a computer that can handle flash like games. The challenge link itself will have a link on how to play and further instructions on what to do will be provided after you click “Starting” and then “Submit”.

1. We are allowing outside resources for this challenge once you begin. You will need an image editing/uploading program of some sort to submit a score. When submitting, please ensure that a MafiaScum tab is visible so that we know you got the score for this game.

2. The two players who submit the lowest score will be up for elimination. In the event there is a tie, the slowest player to submit will be up for elimination.

3. When you are ready you will click “starting” then “Submit”. You may submit starting as many times as you want, but the first time will start your timer. You may only submit “Finishing” and “Submit” once however.

4. You will have a 1 hour max out time. Any guesses submitted after 1 hour will not count.

5. You will have until Saturday at 9pm EST/6pm PST to complete this challenge.

6. Once you submit "starting" you are no longer allowed to discuss this challenge with anyone until after results.

7. This might be a challenge you want to turn the volume, on your device, down for.

8. The Christmas Fox has paid a visit to MafiaScum! If you are vigilant you might find the gift it has left!

When you are ready to begin, you will click this link.

We will do our best to be able to answer questions but cannot guarantee we will be around when you start this challenge, so be sure to get all of your questions answered before you begin

CHALLENGE EIGHT

In this challenge you will be presented with a category and six words. If those words exist in that category, you will put a “1”, If those words do not exist in that category, you will put a “0”.

For example, Numbers: One, Two, Fifteenbazillion, Ringostarr, Five, Bug, you would submit 110010. For each correct code you submit you will get 1 point.

1. Feel free to use outside resources for this challenge. In theory it is gettable without, but we don’t like making those assumptions and it is perfectly fine to use them for this!

2. Your final score will be out of 13. The two players with the lowest scores will be up for elimination. If there is a tie, then the slowest person to get that score will be up for elimination.

5. You will have until 9pm tomorrow, in (expired on 2022-01-31 21:00:00), to begin this challenge. **This is new and as long as you start by the deadline it's fine :)

6. The Christmas Fox is sad that the gift has not been found, it thinks that maybe people would have specifically looked at the details of the last challenge to find the precious gift. Perhaps there is further detail in adding things up?

When you are ready to begin, you will click this link.

We will do our best to be able to answer questions but cannot guarantee we will be around when you start this challenge, so be sure to get all of your questions answered before you begin :)

Wowee! This was a fun challenge wouldn't you all agree?

*everyone is glaring at me*

Okayyyyyyy fine glad to see you all agree. Let's get to the results shall we?

Binary Code 1: Oceans: pacific, avian, atlentic, arctic, indiam, colon

Solution: 100100

Who got it?

Spoiler: Malkon we just skip this stuff anyways
Everyone except for kdowns and Vash got this correct.

kdowns put 100000. I hate to burst your bubble kdowns, but the Arctic Ocean is in fact an ocean.
Vash put 100110. Although the Indian Ocean is an ocean, the "Indiam" Ocean sadly does not exist.

Current Score:
Everyone-1
Vash, kdowns-0

Binary Code 2: NFL teams: bulls, bears, eagls, broncos, dolphins, badgers

Solution: 010110

Who got it?

Spoiler: Malkon we hate you
Ethel, Shadow & GeorgeBailey missed this one.

Ethel gave us 010111. The Badgers, so far as I know, are not a real NFL team.
Shadow gave us 110110. The Bulls are in fact, an NBA team, not an NFL team.
GeorgeBailey gave us 010111. The Badgers, so...we did this already.

Current Score:
Ariel, STD, mist-2
Vash, Ethel, Shadow, GB, kdowns-1

Binary Code 3: Board Games: monopaly, risk, life, sorrry, mysterium, jumonji

Solution: 011010

Who got it?

Spoiler: I GOT IT I GOT IT
So long as you are not GeorgeBailey, you did in fact get it! Congrats.

GeorgeBailey gave us 011011. "Jumanji" is a board game. "Jumonji" is not.

Current Score:
Ariel, STD, mist-3
Vash, Ethel, Shadow, kdowns-2
GB-1

Binary Code 4: Movies: titanic, aquaman, red, push, ice spiders, rio

Solution: 111111

Who got it?

Spoiler: Surprise?
Everyone got it!

Current Score:
Ariel, STD, mist-4
Vash, Ethel, Shadow, kdowns-3
GB-2

Binary Code 5: TV Shows: sex and the city, game of throns, the voice, american idol, avatar, ducktales

Solution: 101101

Who got it?

Spoiler: Smugface
GeorgeBailey, mist & kdowns all missed this. Everyone else is A++++++

All three actually gave the same response of 101111. While "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is in fact a tv show, "Avatar" is a movie. Avatar by itself would not count as the name of the show.

Current Score:
Ariel, STD-5
mist, Vash, Shadow, Ethel-4
kdowns-3
GB-2

Binary Code 6: Seasons: winter, fall, spring, autum, chrysler, sommer

Solution: 111000

Who got it?

Spoiler: Unamusementface
Everyone got it!!!

Current Score:
Ariel, STD-6
mist, Vash, Shadow, Ethel-5
kdowns-4
GB-3

Binary Code 7: Streaming Services: panda, netflix, hulu, appel+, amason prime, chikorita

Solution: 011000

Who got it?

Spoiler: BingeThis
Everyone except Ariel got this.

Ariel gave us 111000. I am unaware of a streaming service specifically called "Panda".

Current Score:
STD-7
Ariel, mist, Vash, Shadow, Ethel-6
kdowns-5
GB-4

Binary Code 8: Plant: fern, tree, malkon, d3f3nd3r, rose, cactus

Solution: 110011

Who got it?

Spoiler: AreTheModsPlants?
Everyone got it!!!

Current Score:
STD-8
Ariel, mist, Vash, Shadow, Ethel-7
kdowns-6
GB-5

Binary Code 9: Furniture: yellow, lemon, chair, dog, cat, sofa

Solution: 001001

Who got it?

Spoiler: I would like to sit on my lemon now please
Everyone got it!!!

Current Score:
STD-9
Ariel, mist, Vash, Shadow, Ethel-8
kdowns-7
GB-6

Binary Code 10: Gemstones: marker, ruby, sapphire, emerald, diamont, beer

Solution: 011100

Who got it?

Spoiler: diamonts are a girls best friend
Everyone except for Ariel got this one.

Ariel gave us 011110. Although diamont looks very similar to diamond, that is not in fact a gemstone.

Current Score:
STD-10
mist, Vash, Shadow, Ethel-9
Ariel, kdowns-8
GB-7

Binary Code 11: Coaches on The Voice (US edition): blake, christina, john, arianna, miley, kelli

Solution: 111010

Who got it right?

Spoiler: Eww Carson Daly
Only Ariel, Ethel & mist got this right.

STD, kdowns and Vash gave us 111110. While there was a judge named "Ariana Grande" there was never a US judge named "Arianna".
Shadow gave us 110010. John Legend is in fact a US The Voice Judge!
GB gave us 111011. Although "Kelly Clarkson" is a current US The Voice Judge, I am unaware of a US The Voice Judge named "Kelli".

Current Score:
STD, Ethel, mist-10
Ariel, Vash, Shadow-9
kdowns-8
GB-7

Binary Code 12: Pizza Toppings: peperoni, olives, rocks, rocks, rocks, pineappl

Solution: 010000

Who got it?

Spoiler: No Cheese Please
Everyone got it!

Current Score:
STD, Ethel, mist-11
Ariel, Vash, Shadow-10
kdowns-9
GB-8

And this means...

Spoiler: What does this mean?
STD, Ethel & mist are all 100% safe even if they miss the next question. GB has to get the next question right to potentially avoid the block. kdowns has to get the next question right and hope others get it wrong to avoid the block.

Binary Code 13: Albums by Lady Gaga: joanne, born this way, the fame monstar, artpopp, cheek to cheek, rainbow

Solution: 110010

Spoiler: Who got it?
Everyone except for GB and Ariel got it.

GB gave us 110000. Cheek to Cheek was a jazz album she did with Tony Bennett and they actually got a grammy for it!
Ariel gave us 010010. Joanne is in fact Lady Gaga's only country album and is based on her middle name!

Final Scores:

Current Score:
STD, Ethel, mist-12
Vash, Shadow-11
kdowns, Ariel-10
GB-8

And with that...

Spoiler: What do you mean?!?!!
GeorgeBailey, with only 8 correct Binary Codes, you are on the block this round.

As for who is joining you, both kdowns and Ariel scored 10 of 13 points. So now we move to final time to determine who joins you.

Ariel finished in...

7 minutes and 39 seconds...

kdowns finished in...

6 minutes and 15 seconds.

This means our members of the block this round are GeorgeBailey and Ariel.

Hello everyone.

For Binary Code 7, an option for Streaming Service listed was "Panda". Now, prior to 2021, there was no company called Panda, however as has been pointed out to me now, there indeed is an app company called "Panda Interactive" which also commonly refers to themselves as "PANDA". In its own app description, it states it "stream videos". This is a weird grey area as this is a small company that doesn't show up on any regular search results under the word "panda" and aside from this app description primarily seems to function as a streaming "support" app that does in stream shopping, betting, and social connectivity which is why it didn't show up on any of our radars. So what we thought was a safe response, is indeed not a safe response.

As a result, we are not going to penalize Ariel for responding "Panda" as a yes, we are also not going to penalize anyone else for putting "Panda" as a no.

This changes the standings as follows:

Spoiler: new placements
1. Save The Dragons, 12/13, 3:11
2. mist7676, 12/13, 6:44
3. Ethel, 12/13, 10:44
4. Vashtaneurotic, 11/13, 5:48
5. Ariel, 11/13, 7:39
6. Shadoweh, 11/13, 18:05
7. kdowns, 10/13, 6:15
8. GeorgeBailey, 8/13, 7:28

Which means the nominees this round are
kdowns & GeorgeBailey.

ROUND 10 CHALLENGE

This challenge is very simple! You will be given a series of 15 math problems. Standard PEMDAS rules apply (Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiply, Divide, Add, Subtract). If you aren’t sure what this means, ask a mod! Symbols will look like: Parenthesis: ( # ), Exponents: # ^ #, Multiply: # x #, Divide: # / #, Add: # + #, Subtract: # - # with “#” representing whatever numbers are present. Your job is to solve the math problems as fast as you can!

1. There are a total of 15 points you can get for each correct answer. The 2 players to get the lowest scores will be up for elimination. If there is a tie, the player or players that submitted the slowest will be up for elimination.

2. You are allowed a calculator for this challenge, we aren’t monsters :) Pen and paper is also allowed, no other outside sources per the usual.

3. You will click starting, and then resubmit and click finishing when done to submit. Although you can click starting as many times as you need, the first time will start your timer. You can only submit once to finish.

4. You will have 1 hour to submit your guess. Any guesses submitted after 1 hour will not count.

5. You will have until tomorrow at 9pm EST/6pm PST to complete this challenge.

6. The Christmas Fox has a question for you “can you get three in a row”?

When you are ready to begin, you will click this link.

We will do our best to be able to answer questions but cannot guarantee we will be around when you start this challenge, so be sure to get all of your questions answered before you begin :)

ROUND 11 RESULTS

Alright folks. After what has definitely been the hardest challenge we've given thus far, we have results.

With a perfect score of 27 out of 27, the person in 1st place is...

Spoiler: who is it?
Ethel! Congratulations!!!

Everyone else got less than 27, but did anyone get less than 20?

Spoiler: did they?!
Yes!

Mist7676 got a score of 15/27 putting them firmly in last place for this challenge and will make them the first member of the block

As for the other three, a total of 3 points separate you. Who else will be on the block?

Spoiler: WELL?!?!?!!
In 2nd place, Vashtaneurotic with 23/27
In 3rd place, Ariel with 22/27

And with a score of 20/27, Shadoweh you will be taking the second place on the block.

And with that the members of the block are...

Unshockingly,
mist7676 has played a golden link on themselves.

This means the new people on the block are:

Spoiler: Who now?!
Ariel and Shadoweh

As the golden link was played very early into the round and we are at final 5, I am making the executive decision not to extend the deadline an additional 24 hours unless y'all want me to.

CHALLENGE TWELVE

In this challenge, you will be doing what you can to link two words that have nothing to do with one another via wikipedia links. You will get a set of 3 prompts that you will have to find links to in order to determine what is the shortest amount of links that it will take you to get from the first item to the last. For example, if you were to get Japan and Mario (character), one possible path would be Japan>Video Game>Super Mario Bros.>Mario. There could be a shorter chain than that, but this is just one example. This challenge is known as the Wiki Chain Challenge.

Rules:

1. You may only use English Wikipedia links, and the pages must link to another English Wikipedia page. If there is a "categories" section at the bottom of a page, those are not allowed.

2. You have a total of 1 hour to complete all three chains and submit by putting the links to every page in your chain. Your time starts when you submit “start”. You may resubmit start to get clues again, however time will still run after your first submission.

3. You will get one point for every link in each chain you complete that isn’t the first or last word. Scoring works like golf in which you want the fewest amount of points possible. The two players with the highest scores will be put on the block. If there is a tie, the player who submitted slower will be put on the block.

4. You can only submit to finish once. This will stop your time. 15 points will be added for each chain that is either not completed or completed incorrectly. This results in a max score of 45 points.

5. You will have until tomorrow at 9pm EST/6pm PST to complete this challenge. (expired on 2022-02-08 22:00:00)

6. You will start at the page with the first word and build the chain to the last word, please keep this in mind when submitting. If we cannot connect your chain in that specific path, we cannot count the submission of said chain.

7. Aside from pen and paper (and Wikipedia obviously), no outside resources for this challenge.

8. For your submission you are welcome to reference the word that links instead of the wikipedia page (eg you can put "Mario" rather than https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mario). The example shows a verified way we would accept a submission. But if we are questioning what you have provided, we will follow up. In addition, we will be providing you with the starting and ending links rather than words just so it’s clear where to start and end.

9. All links provided to you when the challenge begins will be to links in the English version of Wikipedia. Submissions should provide pathways using links from the English version of Wikipedia. Please keep this in mind when practicing/doing the challenge.

When you are ready to begin, you will click this link.

Although this isn't the exact challenge you will be doing, here is something you can use for practicing before starting the challenge if you find it helps: https://www.thewikigame.com/

We will do our best to be able to answer questions but cannot guarantee we will be around when you start this challenge, so be sure to get all of your questions answered before you begin :)

Rule 1 has been revised to the following & edited into the main post:

1. You may only use English Wikipedia links, and the pages must link to another English Wikipedia page. If there is a "categories" section at the bottom of a page, those are not allowed.

All rules for the tiebreaker are the same as the actual challenge including the number of chains you will find. The player that performs better will live to fight another day, and the one that performs worse will be eliminated as our sixth member of the jury.

The link for the tiebreaker is HERE. You have until tomorrow at 9pm EST to complete the challenge but the sooner you finish the sooner we can release results and move onto the final challenge/round!

Other players are welcome to attempt the challenge for their own edification, but the standard rules apply for discussion of the challenge.

After discussing with each of the finalists based on IRL circumstances and taking everything into consideration, we are going to
extend the deadline timer to tomorrow at 11:59pm EST/8:59pm PST
to at least start the challenge. Again if everyone finishes before the time is up, we will post results early. This appears to be an adequate amount of time for everyone to do the challenge, but as stated before please communicate with the mods if something comes up unexpectedly.

ROUND 13 CHALLENGE RESULTS

After nearly a month of being in this game, it all comes down to this. You have gone through a pretty rough logic puzzle. I don't want to keep any of you in suspense, so let's just get to it.

The solution to the puzzle was...

Spoiler: omgwhatwasit?
Image

With a score of...

Spoiler: ????
8

mist7676, you came up with the lowest of the three scores and will be on the block.

Which means...

Spoiler: what does this mean?!
The top two performers in the challenge were Vashtaneurotic and Ariel. One of you will be our first finalist and will have the selection of who sits next to you.

And that person is...

...

Spoiler: WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!
Vashtaneurotic! Congratulations, with a perfect score of 21 and a time of 55 minutes 28 seconds, you are the winner of the challenge.

Ariel, this means that even with a perfect score of 21, your time of 89 minutes and 53 seconds means you will be joining mist7676 on the block.

Vash you must now make the final choice between Ariel and mist of who you eliminate to be the last member of the jury.

Although you have until 9pm EST/6pm PST tomorrow to make your final choice, if at any point you type "LOCK VOTE: ____ " in your confessional with either of the two on the block, we will accept that as your final answer and move on. Best of luck everyone! We're nearly there.

NO MORE CHALLENGES HUZZAHHH!!!!!

Hello players, specs & jurors,

After a riveting game we are drawing near the conclusion.

Here are some rules which we will remind you of when the finale begins:

1. Jurors will make their question posts in this thread. Although we are not imposing a maximum post limit, please do not abuse this, if we need to step in to limit things we will, but we don’t want to have to.

2. Jurors will have between Sunday at 9pm EST/6pm PST & Tuesday at 9pm EST/6pm PST to make their posts. If a finalist isn’t able to respond to all posts by the deadline time, they are allowed the additional 24 hours they have writing closing speeches to also respond to said posts. More details below.

3. Jurors and finalists, please make note of all game rules. Emotions and responses might run a little high so keep that in mind on both sides of the fence.

4. There are no set categories, this is “ask what you feel you need to determine a winner”.

Here is a more complete timeline for the end of the game:

1. Opening speeches due/Juror questioning begins: Sunday, Feb 13th at 9pm EST/6pm PST

2. Juror questioning ends: Tuesday, February 15th at 9pm EST/6pm PST

3. Closing Speeches/Post responses due: Wednesday, February 16th at 9pm EST/6pm PST

4. Juror votes due: Thursday, February 17th at 9pm EST/6pm PST

5. Live vote reading & reunion: Thursday, February 17th at 9:30pm EST/6pm PST

Please ask a moderator if you have any questions.

FINALE

Hello everyone! Here we go! Let's get this showboat on the river!

First up, Vashtaneurotic:

Spoiler: Vash Opening Speech
Image

I thought about how to begin this speech for a while, whether to split into categories or appeals to individual jurors, but at the end of the day I think the paradigm that matters most for this comes from something Ariel said to me at the beginning of the game, in order to be the strongest link, you have to be metal af. So I’m going to focus on that and all the different times I was metal af.
The first time I was metal was in the chain game. As y’all know this round began with Ethel being immune, which gave her a lot of influence over the round. Furthermore, this round should have been a very easy round for me to be on the block cause I was one of the two people who voted for Ethel the round prior. I should have been public enemy number two, yet instead of just allowing the likely to happen (and thinking about some advice Shadow gave me), I went to meme, cut a deal to save Xalxe that round, and also vote to save Ethel the next time she was up, a deal I did actually hold to, even after meme was eliminated in a freak voting accident.
The next place I was metal was with two particular challenges, the anagram challenge and the jigsong. Both of these are challenges where I’m, not skilled, I’ve given up on anagram challenges in other games and the challenge that eliminated me in my very first game (by a 30-minute margin or so) was an audio cryptogram. However, I knew this, so I practiced anagrams for HOURS until I was pretty alright at them and did the challenge and I was rewarded by not even being right out of the bottom, I was decently above it. Meanwhile I just decided to go into the jigsong with a plan to note all the different portions and most importantly not panic (even when I learned all my notes were out of sync by 2 seconds), and I managed to get second on a challenge I frankly should have done much worse at.
The last time I’ll mention being metal was clutch challenge performances. I ended up in duels not once but TWICE, and when it came to those chances at redemption, I succeeded. I studied what mistakes I must have made before and corrected them, not only scoring perfect on my math redux (eliminating the biggest threat to win the game at the point imo) but finding a wiki path on the duel version that Ariel, who won the original challenge, couldn’t find. Most importantly, in the challenge where the endgame was decided, I didn’t just win that challenge, I won by over half an hour, an incredibly dominant performance where it mattered most.
I was nervous coming into this game, because despite my reputation, I have died at pretty much the halfway point of every challenge based game I’ve played. Yet here, I kept a cool head, made some clutch decisions and plays and made it to the end without finishing last even once in a challenge. This speech hasn’t been exhaustive so if there’s anything you think I under-covered or forgot to mention I’m happy to go into more detail about it. As for your questions, give me your best. FTC is usually a trial by fire, but I know that through this one, I’m not going to melt.

Second up, mist7676:

Spoiler: mist Opening Speech
Hey y’all. I came here to play challenges and challenges alone. I’m not much of a jury panderer, never have been, never will be. So I’m literally just going to point to the challenges and explain why I deserve to win based off of those.

Round 1 - Vash beat me :/ In my defense, I was doing this from the car so I say it doesn’t count but that’s just my poor time management! But a win is a win!
Round 2 - Vash beat me… starting to think this may not be a good idea. No wait, it gets better I promise.
Round 3 - I beat Vash! Woo! Thank god I was starting to get worried.
Round 4 - Vash beat me :///
Round 5 - Vash beat me…. ok fuck do I need to rewrite my entire speech.
Round 6 - I beat Vash.
Round 7 - I beat Vash. By a lot. I beat EVERYONE here. BY A LOT. How do people not know the 2048 strategy at this point.
Round 8 - I beat Vash. We are now tied! Most of my wins came in the late game. You know… when it actually MATTERS. The field is thinner and the games got more challenging.
Round 9 - I beat Vash.
Round 10 - I beat Vash, he ended up on the block here. I was helpful in keeping him in the game and giving him a tie here. This is also where we established a F3.
Round 11 - Vash beat me, but this doesn’t count because I didn’t try due to having a Golden Link :cate: But again, a win is a win. Here Vash backstabbed me D: I wanted to get him out but then realized beating him would be more fun.
Round 12 - I beat Vash and came in first. Vash ended up on the block here. Now this time I sent Vash into the tie instead of outright saving him. It was comeuppance for backstabbing me.
Round 13 - Vash beat me and had the sole choice to eliminate me or Ariel. Ariel had a great game and it makes sense to boot her. I’d also argue that convincing Vash I was only going to talk about challenges and not write a huge speech probably at least convinced him that I’d be a lay up. However, considering the results are 7 - 6 with me beating Vash in more challenges, that was a mistake because obviously I deserve to win here! Of course that is if we’re only talking about challenges… which I hope is what this game was about… right everyone……

Anyways, this has been fun! I’m down to answer any questions about my gameplay but a lot of it will just be, I came to play challenges and that was it. I succeeded in that aspect playing in the most challenges (that were not tiebreaks). I was only vulnerable at the very end because of my challenge skills but Vash was on the block twice. Considering the field was larger both times, that just shows more people currently sitting on the jury beat him and sent him into a vote whereas only one person on the jury has that claim over me!

Alright, before I turn the floor to the jury, I want to remind everyone of the rules:

And with that, let's begin. Feel free to ask any questions to the finalists that you have here!

Hey Everyone!

Here we are! It's time for our Jury to vote! Before we do that though, our finalists have ONE LAST PITCH to say why they should be the winner of The Weakest Link Season 3. Before I post those, be sure to have your final vote in by tomorrow at 9pm EST/6pm PST. We will do a live reveal of the vote & follow-up Reunion approximately 30 minutes after that deadline and we do not anticipate it taking very long.

I have more things I'd like to say and thank you all for participating, but I'll save it after we crown a winner.

Here are the final pitches.

VashtaNeurotic:

Howdy y’all friends. First off, thank you for your questions and thank you to mist for being a lovely opponent. I’m just gonna break down the Challenge, Strategic and Social aspects of the game and how mist and I compare in case you are still thinking about your vote.
Challenges

So mist is really hanging their hat on their 7-6 lead being an objective showing that they won the challenge game. However, margin of victory clearly matters here. Gonna do a challenge by challenge but spoiler it for those of you not interested. There is a TLDR if you don’t want the exact examples.

Spoiler:
Challenge 1 Robot Unicorn: Yeah, so I got TRIPLE mist’s score here. This was a BLOWOUT WIN FOR ME.
Challenge 2 Phone Numbers: So I did a lot better than mist here but, mist had a ridiculously good time. Like if mist slows down a bit they could beat me. TECHNICAL WIN FOR ME.
Challenge 3 Majority Rules: A whole…minute and a half separate mist from me. This is a NARROW WIN FOR MIST.
Challenge 4 Scattegories: Similar times and I scored 4 more points than mist here. BLOWOUT WIN FOR ME.
Challenge 5 Chain Game: I was picked far before mist. BLOWOUT WIN FOR ME.
Challenge 6 Alphabet: Oh mist had me here easily, I am not good at anagrams. BLOWOUT WIN FOR MIST.
Challenge 7 2048: Mist said they won by a lot, this isn’t actually all that true. My actual submission was:
Image

I was forced to up shift when I had a 1024, 512, 256 and 128 on the board, I was very close to 2048 but sometimes rng happens. Still mist actually got 2048 so NARROW WIN FOR MIST.
Challenge 8 Binary Code: I was slightly faster, mist was slightly better on numbers. I’d say this is a NARROW WIN FOR MIST. Though maybe it might be closer to our situation for challenge 2?
Challenge 9 Word Search: Mist beat me by a whole letter and 20 seconds. NARROW WIN FOR MIST.
Challenge 10 Math: Mist was pretty good but I was 33% faster than them and it just required me to be a little more careful (which I was on the redux) for this to be a win for me. Reverse of Challenge 2. TECHNICAL WIN FOR MIST.
Challenge 11 Jigsong: Mist did really bad on this, I did pretty well. BLOWOUT WIN FOR ME.
Challenge 12 Wiki Game: Mist’s time is insane here, I might have done really well on the retry but for the main challenge this is a BLOWOUT WIN FOR MIST.
Challenge 13 Logic: The one that matters most and….I did really well and mist got a score of 8. BLOWOUT WIN FOR ME.

So we have 5 Blowout wins for me, 2 Blowout wins for mist, 4 Narrow wins for mist, and a technical win each.

Spoiler: TLDR
When I was better than mist, I was far above their level, when mist was better than me they barely scraped by most of the time. Also as I stated before, in the Weakest Link, the weakest player in challenges was NEVER me, mist got last place TWICE.

If you think there’s any more nuance than straight win loss when it comes to challenge strength, I’m the clear choice here.

Social and Strategic Game

In all likelihood, you believe there’s more to this game than just challenges, otherwise there wouldn’t be votes or DMing allowed. Now I’m going to package together these aspects because there’s a significant aspect of social game that is just, “did you like talking to me?” or “did we connect as people?” which are questions I’d rather not speculate and argue about, you know the answer to those questions for yourself and can compare how mist and I hold up to that. However there’s also an aspect of social game that is getting people to ally with you and get people to not vote you, which I’m happy to talk about and is incredibly intertwined with strategic play.

In this game I didn’t talk to people often, lab work has become a lot more significant as of late and I’m writing a proposal this semester for my PhD. However, after a few early rounds of coasting and trying to get Noraa to improve at challenges, I talked where votes were relevant and tried to give people some idea where my mind was at, usually whoever was up (along with some side chatter sometimes). Some notable examples were talking to George and Meme at length during F10, and Shadow and Ariel at F6. Also, since my social game was somewhat aloof it actually gave me a lot of power, since I was in the middle I could conceivably vote either way at any point and justify it, even if it caused a little chaos in the process. Rather than just being irrelevant, my vote swap changed the outcome for multiple votes, and was the deciding one at F5.

I’m also very good at giving just enough people enough reason to keep me around, in previous games this has resulted in ties, but here instead of a revote, there was a rechallenge, so this skillset was very helpful to me as I was very confident in my ability on any reattempt at a challenge. At Final 6 I knew I just needed Mist and Shadow on my side, and at Final 4 I knew I just needed one of Mist or Ariel to be with me and I could do the rest. I gave my effort when it was truly needed and was whisked away back to my other responsibilities afterward.

Compare this to mist who did have strategic activity, but to my knowledge most of that was filtered through Shadow. Mist was never really a swing vote or courted during any vote to my knowledge (though there is probably some round I’m not privy to though) and mostly just wanted to have fun with challenges. There’s nothing wrong with that, challenges spark joy for them, but it is a less well rounded game than the one I played.

I hope this speech found you well, and once again, you’ve all been great, I hope to speak to y’all postgame and best of luck to mist!

mist7676

Hey everyone, I don't have much else to provide here since my argument for winning is just so logically sound. I out performed Vash in more challenges and this is a challenge game. Oh, you want more than just that...? Gosh I didn't plan that far. I guess all I can say is that both of us clearly put a lot of heart into this game and either one of us that wins deserves it.

Throughout this game, I do think I worked hard to establish alliances and connections so that I would have a potential fallback if my challenge ability fell through. Right off the bat, I established my alliances with Noraa and Shadow. One went on longer than the other but I knew both of those I could count on as we moved forward in the game. During votes, I would communicate with other voters as well as the player I planned on saving in order to establish a rapport and build up alliances. I think that most shined with my connections to Ariel and GeorgeBailey as both are players I never really worked with in the past, at least in nonanons, and these connections arose out of them being on the block and me being a vote that helped saved them (more than once).

Other alliances that I built up as the game went on were with Kdowns and Vash. Both players I had worked with in the past and was excited to work together again. I got to a point in the game where I felt comfortable with the people I was talking to and working with. I felt like if I ended up on the block, I would have a great support net set up as well as avenues to form new alliances if necessary. Depending on who I was up against, I doubt it would have been an uphill climb. It's hard to talk about these alliances in the abstract because I never had to rely on them to keep me safe. The moments that I can point to where I used those alliances and connections that I had would be working to keep kdowns safe by pulling Shadow in to that voting block. Additionally, using my #socialgame to try and force as many ties as possible. I was always on the lookout for where people were voting and trying to see how split down the middle things could be. More challenges in the challenge game is always a net positive.

Love you all, vote w/ your hearts, and thank you for everything <3

FROM THIS POINT ON PLEASE DO NOT POST PUBLICLY IN THIS THREAD UNTIL AFTER RESULTS ARE OUT.

~Best of luck to our finalists~

Hey all!

I'm spending time with a friend. Sorry I wasn't around for the fun and festivities. I want to give a hearty congratulations to VashtaNeurotic for coming out as the victor of TWL3. It's hilarious because apparently in order for you to win a game I have to be the one running it :D

This was quite honestly a terrific season filled with terrific characters and you all made it exciting to watch. With more ties than any TWL game prior, close votes, lots of fun rivalries, and really just a nice, low effort way to spend time. I had a blast with everyone who played and it was a real treat from start to finish.

A few fun things of note:
-Vash becomes the first person to both win the final challenge and the game.
-Vash becomes the first person to participate in more than one tiebreaker & win more than one tiebreaker.
-mist becomes the first two time finalist of the series.
-mist has the most collective votes of any finalists in the series. (3 from this game, 3 from season 2)
-mist is the first person to lose more than 1 final.
-Ethel has tied the record for the most times being on the block (with DV at 5 in season 2)
-this season is the first season to feature more than 1 tiebreaker challenge

I'm sure there are more things, but really everyone this season had a story and a point to the overall plot. It really was exciting and dynamic to see.

First to the players: Thank you so much for playing. You all are incredible and I'm so thankful we got enough interest to even have a third season. I appreciate you all taking a chance to try this game in a long term format and I think with a few minor exceptions, it went really well! I really think we did a pretty good job with the golden links, the challenges, and trying to make reasonable and sound calls as the season went on. Nothing is ever perfect, but for the first long term version of the game, I'm super pleased.

To my cohost: D3f3nd3r was seriously so awesome. He just picked up on things I still can't wrap my brain around, he was always there for me when I needed him, and he put up with my neurotic and sometimes scattered personality. I had such a blast hosting with you and thank you for taking the leap when I approached you to host this. I asked a lot and you not only delivered, but you quite literally kept me sane and kept this game on track. Thank you for having my back and helping me run this whole thing.

To xof: meh <3

To the spectators: Although it wasn't the most lively spec lounge ever, the ones who were there were lively and animated and helped keep the conversation going the whole time. Thank you for helping share the laughs and theories in the games, I had a lot of fun with you all <3

And so we conclude the first ever long-term form of TWL. I need to do some thinking to determine whether or not there will be a 4th season and whether I prefer running this live or running this long-term, but if this season showed me anything it's that it can exist in both worlds which is awesome! Thanks for doing "all those word" challenges and keeping me on my toes the whole time. I had a blast.

Until next time <3
