ok this game is cool or whatever but there's this one fucking fish and i'm pretty sure it's the same fish because it jumps around in exactly the same way and it's basically fucking uncatchable. even if i somehow manage to get 75% of the way to catching it the fish is going to wiggle its cheeky little ass around for 10 seconds and make me want to throw my laptop.

is there a way to upgrade my rod to make this easier or am i going to constantly be in an unwinnable war with this fucking flounder or whatever until i quit the game?

Sounds like a Legendary or a Sea/Super Cucumber

Iridium Rod and level 10 fishing - it will be a challenge but a little more manageable with the right hook.

Clubs are best, you can hold the right click slam and mash left click to rack up some serious damage.

Swords are second, never use a dagger

Sheep (1 every 2 days in Barn) or Rabbits (whenever they feel like it in Coop) and a spinning wheel thing

Also I have 4 rabbits, 4 chickens, 4 void chickens, 1 dino and 4 ducks in coops, 2 cows, 2 goats and 2 pigges currently at autumn Y2.

I've not been optimising this at all, just been going YEET at it.

We use the Medival Buildings Mod to make them pretty There's a Rustic Interiors mod too which makes the insides look like they match too.

I prefer to save them personally, it's 5 beans per coffee, 15 per espresso.
Trying to remember where you get the recipe from, I think it's just from levelling up farming tbh.

I am currently filling a shed with kegs ... The one next to the farmhouse is kegs and preserves. Just got my cellar so now just bulk buying wood from Robin to make casks. That said I'm now I'm in winter I could just make some chippers and tskenout the hardwood I gather ...

Are there tactical considerations that could keep you from being surrounded? I know nothing about the game's combat.

Good food. Crystal Fruit in winter is good, miners treats also good. There's a few other good recovery stuff and Gus usually sends you the recipes.

For surviving better, get defence items and rings. Hammer and Sword is my thing of choice at the moment. Hammer because stun damage glitch, sword because SPEEDY SWIPE.

I'm also trying to take one Skull and Volcano dungeons at the moment.

You can't retrieve hay if all the feeding bays are full. its weird and crappy because a chest holds so much more than a silo...
