Site rules now literally prevent that, so now it's literally against site rules to abuse prod timers like that, but I did in fact use it as a deliberate tactic at some point, both as a way to prove I was inactive and as a way to force myself to be more active.
Pretty sure it was like 90:10 town:scum for me doing it tho because I fucking loathe the idea of players accusing someone of strategic inactivity. Doing it as scum felt like it was validating those accusations when those accusations should never EVER be validated, so it was mostly an as-town thing.
But again, is against site rules now, so like. Doesn't happen anymore, but it used to.
