I didn't want to run Natirasha up too fast because of it. I am aware of Nat's general anti-town meta, but the last completed game I played with him, he openly admitted being the serial killer.

Why does a vote have to either be for a completely random reason or a completely real reason? It's the random phase, any reason that goes even

slightly

past "He has a funny avatar LOLZ" is better than a random vote.

So, yeah, I don't support putting all votes in two distinct categories. My vote on SC is probably what you'd consider in between "completely random LOLZ" and "SC is scum. Lynch him."

Also, I have done semi-random votes twice in the past... both times I actually picked scum! (Mini 614 - SleepyPanda and Open 94 - orangepenguin). Though that doesn't mean anything, of course.

I can agree with ortolan for all purposes of Day 1 wagons. Day 2 and further targets should be claimed but role should

The person who mentioned Nat always self-votes, I think it was me.

To be honest, I wasn't actually looking for an answer from KK about why he asked the question. *shrug* That's just how I talk sometimes, using questions and such. I have some weird opinions about mafia, and how I deal with the RVS is one of them.

SC's aggression is not reason to vote for him. Spreading suspicion around is what we're

supposed

to do, after all. His original case against KK; however, is scummy.

1) Using the newbie card in a quote that was taken mainly out of context.

If you want the random segment to end and scum-hunting to begin, then eventually some semi-serious questions have to start being asked.

The bolded is all SC quoted. The rest of the post makes it clear that he was just talking about not knowing me, not being a newbie to mafia or anything.

First 7 posts are content-free, which is fine in the random stage, but he's also joking about being scum, like the comment about the quicklynches and the mass claim, etc. Now most people don't see this is a scum-tell, but I read jokes like that as "Hi, I'm scum and I'm so excited that I'm scum that I can't conceal it." Sure, it's not a strong tell by any means, but it's in my book.

His next post is about theory, which is a null-tell.

The post after that is what gets me. He reiterates the very

valid

points against SC, but then in the last sentence:

I'll be the first to admit the case against you isn't particularly strong, but in the absence of a better suspect and as I am obliged to post after being prodded I will go with you for the time being.

Ugh. You know what that means. Likely he either doesn't want to distance too strongly against SC, or he's afraid of a counterattack. Either way, it's scummy.

Hmm, I better explain why I don't think the Xtoxm case has merit:

The case against him:

1. He's avoiding this game.

Well, so what? We're on page 4. It's

not time to go after lurkers yet. Look, Nat has posted 24 times since his last post here. Why is Xtoxm more suspicious?

2. Post 83 implies he is scum.

Xtoxm is not a newbie... and newbies are the only kind of people that would give up

on page 3

Wow, I was so ready to lynch Nat, but it's obvious at this point that one of SC/Pops

to be scum. Let's just check if there are any counter-claims. Possible scenarios:

1. SC is scum; the real seer will counter-claim.
2. Pops is scum; his partner will counter-claim, attempting to get SC lynched for a win.
3. Pops is scum; his partner will not counter-claim, thinking he has a better chance of winning in a final 3 situation.

Thus, if there's no counter-claim, we can be sure that Pops is scum.

I don't think what SC did at the end was unethical. He was about as confirmed scum as you can be. There was really nothing he could do to possibly win.

. By your lack of a counter-claim in your posts after SC, I had already thought that you couldn't be the seer. If this wasn't a special case (with pops flipping the wrong kind of scum and all), and you claimed that late, I would assume that you were scum.

SC's gambit was awesome, and really it

should

have worked, but failed due to some unforeseen matters (KK delaying his claim; the quick wagon on pops)

-SC claims seer, guilty on pops.
