Dr.'s Carter, Greene, and Ross have been found dead in the ER and preliminary autopsies show that these were not accidents. Dr.'s Carter and Greene appear to have been bludgeoned to death with a copy of

Gray's Anatomy

, so I suspect that there were medical students involved. Dr. Ross appears to have been eviscerated with a rusty titanium spork and soaked in formaldehyde before being set on fire. His dental records were needed to identify him. We have discovered remnants of marshmallow goo and cookie crumbs at the scene, so it is my strong belief that this is the handiwork of a resident. Now I too remember my difficult days as a punching intern back at General Hospital and St. Elsewhere under the not so kindly direction of Dr.'s House and Sloan, but that was absolutely no reason to go around eviscerating people. I will concede that Dr. Ross probably deserved it, but I will allow no more of this in my clinic! Now then, I ask you all to use your various medical abilities to try to prevent these unseemly murders that are driving away our patients, though I am aware that the killers might also benefit from these skills, and if you as a majority have decided you found one of the murderers, vote for them and I shall get rid of them myself. I have also entrusted two of you with scalpels and hope that you will put them to good use at night tracking down the killers. Now go wash up, get your scrubs on, and find the killers.

After a long hard day in the ER of doing various doctorly things, the young staff persons decided that it was finally time to act out that one scene from Hannibal (Don't click this is you're squeamish or a minor!). Half of them wanted to know what brains tasted like after years of having to dig through them to find lost scalpels or the like, the other half were eager to put their newly acquired lobotomy licenses to use. Animorpherv, the quiet one, always studying Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine, was voted into the role of sacrificial victim, and the rest of the staff fell upon him like a pack of 12 year old girls falling upon Hannah Montana concert tickets in a steel cage death match at the main event of some extreme fighting championship only allowable in Laos. Sadly, none of them were qualified neurosurgeons, and instead of carefully extracting only the unimportant parts of his brain, they chopped it to tiny pieces until it resembled the raw ingredients of a hot dog.

"Goddamnit, the lot of you just killed one of my best interns! Didn't y'all see the scalpel sticking out of his pocket! Now go clean up this mess and y'all better shape up for the night! Or I shall beat you with my cane!"

During the night, when all the real doctors went home to their families and slept the peaceful sleep of those that know they are overpaid and under-worked, the various residents and interns and medical students continued slaving away into the wee hours of the morn. After all, junior personnel don't really need sleep, now do they?

Elvis was nodding off in her office, her instruments spread out, pondering the dilemma of creating a perfect facial reconstruction for an unfortunate college who just happened to be involved in a rather serious accident. Really, it was getting hard to make the man look like anything, let alone himself, what with all the injuries he kept sustaining. But Elvis was an enterprising intern and really had her heart set on becoming a plastic surgeon (in order to use her skills to lend credence to all those rumors. Sadly, Elvis wasn't the only one in her office. Someone else decided they didn't like her nightly activities and stabbed a knitting needle, or thirteen, through her left eye socket. Not satisfied, the killer than proceeded to cut off Elvis's ears and replace them with hockey pucks, remove Elvis's now scrambled brains through her nose ala the Egyptians (even managing to find one of those old-people-visiting cats to feed them to), and tattoo the entire text of Lord of the Rings, in Elvish, onto Elvis's body, which was dressed in an exact replica of MC Hammer's outfit from that one really annoying video (that I shall spare linking you all too, because I am humane). The killer was thoughtful enough, though, to drain Elvis's blood and remove her organs, and deposit those for donation. Except that left cornea.

Meanwhile, Stef was for some reason spending the night memorizing the lyrics to Phantom of the Opera. Why, we'll never know. Thankfully, someone was kind enough to put the rest of us out of our misery by putting Stef out of his. Apparently, Andrew Lloyd Weber scores are deadly when ingested. This did not come as a surprise to the examining corner, who quickly proceeded to listen to better music to avoid secondary contamination.

After going through an archive of medical miracles as part of their studies, the interns decided that they might have to test this case to see if it was really possible to survive such an injury *and* have most of one's sight restored, or if those x ray photos were faked by the pharmaceutical industry like 99% of all diseases on earth. For some reason, Kmd decided to volunteer himself for the procedure. Once the chair leg was successfully inserted into his skull, Kmd expressed a craving for pickles and chocolate ice cream. It was only then that the rest of the staff realized that he was in the 10th month of pregnancy, and way overdue for a C-section. While rushing him to the operating room to deliver his conjoined triplets, the others forgot about the large piece of metal sticking out of his head. Kmd proceeded to promptly bleed to death from this oversized splinter. The triplets, however, were delivered successfully, and are waiting to be operated on to separate their tonsils.

Another night crept upon the bloody corridors of the hospital, like a snake creeps along the Sahara sands, slithering and scooting, and leaving fresh sand tracks in its wake as it eyes it's distant prey...oh wait...sorry...wrong narrartion track...

Anyways, it was night.

This time, nobody slept...the brutal murders of the night before still resonated in the much-abused minds of the staff members...Andrew Lloyd Weber was just too brutal, too horrible! Each lowly little medical slave sat hunched up in a corner, trying to avoid the foul beasts who were capable of such treachery, quiet as lowly field mice.

Orangepenguin was not quiet enough. In fact, he came down with a rather horrid case of hiccups. He tried everything from holding his breath to drinking water upsidedown, but it was no use. He was discovered. The scene the coroner came upon in the morning was too horrible to describe, but it involved a slinky, five all beef hot dogs, ten feet of rubber tubing, a llama's detached head, a video of a horrible medical drama, a balloon giraffe, edible underwear, and a live baby pygmy elephant. Even after minutes of investigation, those on the crime scene were still left wondering about those hot dogs.

Hearing Orangepenguin's screams in the background, Charter decided it would be a perfect time to practice his Christina Aguilera impression. After all, one set of loud, obnoxious shreiking couldnt be distinguished from another, now could it? Apprently, it could. Charter's secret obsession with the pop diva (he was found wearing about 10 pounds of makeup that needed to be scraped off before the cause of death could be determined) and his transvetitism led to his downfall. Examination of the body revealed no traces of anything unusual, so it was obvious the killer had a secret fetish for Cary Elwes.

The staff was getting antsy. Exam time had almost come for the poor students on the ward, and they had to brush up on their diagnosing skills. Since the chief medical officer refused to let them diagnose real patients this close to test time, they took to diagnosing each other. Wall-E was up first. His fellow interns decided he had Bubonic Plague, Syphilis, Lyme Disease, Acute Inflammation of the Belly Button, Strep Throat, and that horrible, very contagious, and extremely deadly killer: Raccoon Pox. There was no known cure for Raccoon Pox (which looked just like Chicken Pox and appeared as a brief mention in a small publication long discontinued, that during it's run came from a mental hospital somewhere in Barbados). The only treatment was a gun shot to the head with a silver bullet, followed by a beheading, a staking through the heart, and a bath in garlic infused holy water. Without seeking the approval of the supervising staff doctor, they went at it, eager to prepare for their exams. When the senior medical staff came in, they saw what looked like a botched vampire hunt. Someone had seen fit to give Wall-E's corpse a pretty pink princess hat but forgotten to burn him. Such sloppy interns.

It was getting down to the wire and the RNs were running out of lowly residents to feel superior to. Kiro was wandering the halls alone at night, clutching his copy of the Bible to his chest, having heard that large, unread volumes can occasionally stop bullets and save lives. His mentor would have been so proud to learn that he had finally touched the darn thing after 5 semesters of using it as a paperweight. Alas, Kiro's killer's had other plans, as the baseball bat splinters found lodged up his...um...well...actually, nevermind where they were lodged. Let's instead talk about the cigarette burns to the back of his ears, and the haircut he must have received post mortem. That was just dang unflattering, like Vanilla Ice trying to make a comeback after losing yet another fight with a lawn mower. Oh, and then there was the trauma to his spleen. Like someone tried to remove it with a garlic press...it was rather disappointing how unskilled some of the wanna-be surgeons were...everybody knows lemon peelers make better organ harvesting tools, and the Tijuana market is all about the kidneys.

With the discovery of Kiro's lifeless and abused body, Nameless and TonyMontana turned to each other, grinning, as they quickly pulled out their assortment of weapons, and began throwing them indiscriminately in the general direction of GnKoichi and Plum, who started backing away from the barrage of accordions, prop daggers, cranial saws, surgical needles, dachshunds, dental floss, epidurals, potted mimosas, and sharp pointy things that only medical students know the names of. GnKoichi pulled out his own personal arsenal of sharpened toothpicks and cherry bombs and attempted lobbing them back, but it was no use. In his attempts to duck and sidestep his would-be killers, he slipped on an overlooked puddle of medical waste (someone had murdered the janitor at some point, and the chief of staff was still interviewing for the position) and fell headlong into a defibrillator, which mysteriously turned on and started shocking him, sending him spasming into a suite where a rather irate woman was giving birth to quintuplets. The woman, rather alarmed at the invasion of her privacy, finished GnKoichi off with a bedpan to his head. The medical examiner said it was a quick and painless death, something her husband was spared. His arms were just broken during the 52 hour labor. They were subsequently patched up without any painkillers, which the chief medical officer was found to have been abusing.

Plum, in her attempts to hide from the vicious attacks on her person, fell down a laundry chute where she encountered the Oompa Loompas imprisoned and enslaved by the hospital. Upon seeing her nametag, which identified her as something they once filled many of Wonka's chocolates with, they set upon her like rabid hyenas set upon a bloated antelope carcass, and carved her to bits, wrapping her remains in leftover wrappers from the hospital vending machine and selling them to ravenous medical students as special "rice crispy treats." The slave colony was later brought under control by hospital staff and prevented from selling human remains, being told to stick to medical waste like normal candy manufacturers.

Comments: I thought Nameless played a perfect game overall, I thought Plum played a perfect town game. The rest of you, well, I'm kinda disappointed about activity levels, and the lack of playing of some players (it was hard to stay within my own replacement rules, I wanted to boot a few people for their "play") but generally, y'all were a good bunch. I'm also disappointed about Ani getting himself lynched day 1 because I was hoping for more chaos night 1. Town could have been helped if some people sent in their night choices N1 and N2. Kiro's protect N3 wouldn't have down anything, since both kills were on him, but I thought he'd protect Plum again. I'm really surprised GnK lived til endgame, since I was cringing day 1, pretty sure he was going down, since I thought it was obvious he was scum.

Btw, Kmd really didn't mean to hammer. He sent me a PM after asking about it. I guess he just didn't read my unvote rules carefully.
