the thing with pengu is like, his claim checks out with everything he's said all game, and he already knew my claim so it doesn't make sense for him to fake claim something that seems kinda in conflict with my role

i wonder if datisi like intentionally made role costs be slightly not equivalent to their actual usefulness in order to confuse people/prevent outguessing the mod kind of stuff

like 15% for a tracker shot vs 150% for a cop shot? 25% for mine, and 70% for a TA?

maybe like part of the game is figuring out if your ability cost is worth using

i was assuming (and i think most people were) that the cost would like balance out to make all prs roughly equal in usefulness/cost, but in a normal game that's not how it works, some roles are stronger than others, so i don't think that assumption necessarily has to be true

Btw, Penguin and fire should agree on respective pools of players they will act upon if they are choosing to continue to use their abilities (so they don’t overlap exactly). Since they can’t both be blocked, they can probably confirm a player at Night. If the Scum can multi-task, then we won’t glean any information tomorrow (and that’s possibly the outcome, but then that’s also somewhat useful I suppose), but if they both can, then one will likely die, and the other one may be able to share a result tomorrow.

mastina was convinced on town S_S and after reading his ISO, i can kinda see it tbh

i mean she did say that if he ever claims VT she would instavote him

i am kinda curious why, i thought he seemed like a pr as well but it was more vague vibes of how he talked about mechanics than anything concrete

the main thing for me there is titus tying him and ircher together d1. that just seems... really unlikely to me? unless she was trying to intentionally use bad logic to make it look like she was trying to miselim a townie, which, hm

when i played against titus as scum before she was really good at understanding how people would interpret her actions and set up her partners to win after her death, but that was already after i was hard pushing her and she thought she would die. doing it d1 seems super premature

idk this is hard for me bc there's aspects to everyone that i feel are towny

furtive just feels solidly in his town meta, he was calling hard for a wagon on mala, and just most of what he says vibes as genuine to me

dann right after replace in went hard after titus which he just, really didn't have to do at all? like he has a clean slate and he can push in any direction he wants. ig someone here p much had to bus but he also just has felt towny. i think the way he played around the mala wagon looks uninformed as well

jjh has kinda been a blind spot for me but he has just been consistently doing things that feel helpful to town. ig it's possible that scum would try to take on a sort of calm and collected town leader role here? he's had a lot of nuanced thought that certainly feels town

and it kinda means that i have to figure out which reason for townreading is the worst

id kinda lean towards ss and jjh. maybe furtive. don't really think it's dann

one mech thing that i guess is important is that pengu can check jjh and if jjh is town, he would see that he hasn't visited anyone (or visited himself if it works like that?) even if jjh uses his action (not sure if he's planning to?), but if he uses his action then my check on him would be useless

since mine doesn't care about visiting people, it's just action successfully being taken

i guess that passive kind of role would explain why mine and penguins role both exist, since it interacts differently

not really relevant if jjh is not planning to use his ability but idk it like potentially gives him an out if he's scum, so id rather check furtive if game isn't over on an ss lim

gg well played town!! felt like this game was very role and mechanics driven and i didn't really know how to play around that

ended up surprisingly close tho, i think if furtive had shot uncrowned then things would have gotten really interesting in the final days

If you'd have claimed blocked then I would have been actively calling for your elimination because as we had already established, multitasking was not possible.

If you'd have guiltied Dannflor, I think Furtive might have won because of the bulletproof and the specifics of the wincon
