Me as conf town + IV as conf town means two kills get eaten where scum can’t kill PRs and usually my ability to town sucks so forcing scum to kill me = protown

i knew being VT that i was a half decent elimination for town, and in a game billed as complex where i expected there to be multiple good roles for town i was happy to accept taking a dive. seeing who i pegged as 99% town go down day 2 was disappointing though.
i was claiming VT though when i said "I have also said repeatedly that I am not going to claim a roll", i just left it for the rest of you to either pick up on that or choose not to.

I would agree with Ydra that 1-Shot Unstoppable might have helped counteract Town power.

I see what you’re saying, but personally I feel it was very clear to people that I was town and you were in zero danger of getting elimmed anytime soon with many people defending you. You could’ve claimed later, I think we were lucky that your death was able to be blocked/scum already thought you were doc before the claim. If anything it felt like skitter baited you into claiming (whether intentionally or not)

The guy we pushed next was also town but he had more than scum equity. Ugh. Whatever. We win anyways and I kinda understand the reasoning behind your play but it was objectively bad and wasted a day.

What's a Big Brother? Doesn't seem to be a normal role. From the reference I can guess that it's a role that sees every action in the game?

fwiw i think you give a lot more weight to this sort of thing than you should, i don't think scum consult with their partners as often as you seem to think they do

i felt like i had claimed, saying i wasn't going to claim i had a role is effectively saying i am vanilla or else a role that should not be broadcast to scum. once people had a bee in their bonnet about it, i was happy to see what happened though.
i still have no idea how Enchant/Scoliosis got killed Day 2 though, from where i was sitting they made zero sense as scum.

It was more of a policy thing than any actual belief in gera scum. Townies should cooperate with town, there was no good reason to not claim imo. Sure the “not claiming” might’ve been softing VT but at that point you might as well say it to cooperate, everyone is listening including scum. I think the D1 elim should’ve just been Scol and we could’ve accelerated Pooky’s death on D2 (maybe)

No one really pushed much against Scol or gera on D1 and D2 (except skitter WKing Scol) so if there was good resistance against the wagon I think we could’ve avoided those elims easily
