i mean

1. we don't know what any of those people's alignment is so we don't know how accurate black has been with their votes

2. even if they were voting all town, i have no reason to believe black is a player who can be read off accuracy (very few players actually are). i think in particular for a player who is new to the site, hasn't played in a while, and is jumping straight into the deep end with a large theme might experience a significant deal of culture clash that would lead them to suspect things from people that are not actually scummy

I came back to read this after some fresh air. I'm really confused why town!Alisae would get this upset over a vote. I don't think I deserved to be treated that way. It's cool if you think I'm scum for voting you but why the anger? Why the personal jabs at my playstyle and intelligence? That's what doesn't make sense to me.

I'm having a hard time coming up with reasons why town!Ali would react this way. But I really hope I'm wrong about you, I really do. If you're scum!Ali and this is how you treated me, I'm not sure if I can ever forget that

Your vote occurred here at 1345 - she didn't begin getting visibly upset until after you began to interact with her on pages 56-57.

Specifically I believe these posts were what triggered her reaction to you and I'm going to assume you honestly do not understand why she would get upset and are not just playing the victim here.

I guess on one level it logically doesn't make sense for Alisae!town who believes you are scum engaging in a shitpush to be triggered by you acting in this manner towards her because it's unlikely to flip her slot - ali!scum tilting that you are bad!town who is pushing townies and caught her for the wrong reasons is possible but I think like she's more likely to just laugh at you in the scum PT if you're town pushing townies.

I think Ali is a pretty emotional player so I can see that side of her being enraged at some of the comments you made regardless of her alignment.

I think trying to read into emotional responses is very hard unless you know the person pretty well and even then I feel like I still get emotional reads wrong a fair number of times. I don't think it's going to be useful for getting an accurate read and it's somewhat unpleasant to talk about.
